Subject: RE: Gelatin in your dark chocolate

Thank you for visiting Sees.com. The gelatin used in some of our
candies is an animal derivative (pork). It is a protein substance. The
following is a list of candy pieces that contain gelatin as a direct
ingredient.

Apricot Bon Bon
Bordeaux Pecan Fudge
Chocolate Walnut Fudge
Cocoanut Bon Bon
Maple Pecan Bon Bon
Marshmallow Xmas Tree (2 oz.)
Marshmallow Egg (0.8 oz.)
Marshmallow Heart (2 oz.)
Marshmallow Jack O'Lantern (2 oz.)
Marshmint
Orange and Chocolate Wafers
Orange Bon Bon
Rocky Road
Rocky Road Egg (3.75 & 9.5 oz.)
Scotch Kiss
Scotchmallow
Scotchmallow Bar
Scotchmallow Egg (0.9 oz.)
Scotchmallow Heart (1 & 4 oz.)
See's Red Hot Swamp Goo
Tipperary Bon Bon
Vanilla Walnut Fudge

The above list shows which pieces have gelatin in them as a direct
ingredient. We wish to advise that we do use the same machinery for some
of our candy pieces and all the candy pieces are produced in the same
facility. Our kitchens are kept very clean, but it is impossible to
guarantee that other pieces will not contain trace amounts of gelatin.
Therefore, while some items do not contain gelatin as part of their
recipe all items manufactured by See's Candies may contain traces of
gelatin. We could recommend our Lollypops and Little Pops
(Butterscotch, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Cafe Latte flavors) since these
are produced in a separate facility.

I hope this information is helpful. Thank you for your interest in
See's Candies.
