I look around and see nothing but gloom and doom. I don't see the love in the Ummah anymore. I think I am done trying to reach out to other Muslims and I am going to go back and just look for good friends. Friends it seems are the only thing worth living for anymore. Too many brothers and sisters I see trade away their religion, and are not serious about unity, peace and understanding within the Ummah. It seems they are all about personal power, or about their instincts, and not about God, and what the enemy is doing to us.

We have this incredible communications ability to unite the Ummah, but no one is interested it seems, in doing what it would really take to do it.

I guess I am going to just quit on the idea, and pray that God will guide me to where I can fight in His cause somewhere else...

I understand exactly what you mean bro.Thing you have to remember is that it is Allah who guides and not us.
We have a duty to convey the message of Islam to both Muslims and Non-Muslims and then it is up to them to act upon that message or reject it.
Why give up giving Dawah to others?
Did the Prophets give up?
Keep giving Dawah to others about Islam through your character,words and good deeds.
Inshallah you'll get rewarded for it.
As muslims we can only inform and educate others about the truth.
Allah is the changer of hearts.

Brother there are still many Muslims who want unity within our Ummah, never give up the fight for that. Insha'Allah one day we shall get it.

There is only one cause under the declaration of faith that unites us (La illaaha ill'Allah Muhammad Ar-Rasul'Allah), and that cause is to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, in the best of manners. It stresses that what unites us is far greater than what disunites us.

That said, don't be worn down by this issue, Allah guides whom He wills, and our duty is to make the right choices so as to set a good example for the people. We have to be guided in order to inshaa Allah guide others, so it's really necessary to practice Islam in our own lives. Pay attention to your families, become a role model for them, for your friends, for the community and the world. At that point you will be prepared enough to unite people and give dawah. God will show you the way, you only need to obey His laws and make the right choices. Don't feel burdened and most importantly, don't give up on hope and thriving.
