Yes mashaAllah that is a VERY good idea brother mu'maneen.
InshaAllah lets try to get that fixed ASAP so people can resume their classes.
And that PalTalk thing or any other voice chat or whatever we do, maybe we can ask brother Dot to somehow embed it on this IF website.
Maybe thats a good idea?
And also brother Ibn Khaldun please post your recitation, and dont worry if you dont recite slow. I dont recite slow, i only recited slow then so I could post it for the beginners. (not that I'm a hafiz or anything!)
Just recite fast, like naturally because it would be good to listen to a hafiz's recitation.
Jazakallah.

MAshallah this is really really great idea and May Alla amke you succesful it
I have one idea though: Instead of starting with Surah Ala, isnt it a better idea to go back from Surah Nas and do each Surah so it will be corrected and the other little ones can be momorized for those who dont know them?
Starting in the middle of the Juz is a little to hard for those whose mind has not got adapted to memorizing yet, so from the back 1-2 ayats a day would be easier and would help get their mind used to memorizing everyday Inshallah.
just my two-cents.

One brother wanted to learn Surah A'la, thats why they're starting with Surah A'la I think...
#68
Posted 28 May 2005 - 09:39 PM
i know, but i think its better to start from the very last Surah and move onwards, because then the brain gets used to it and then the older surahs are corrected too.

What do you mean Akhie?bro, are you takin my advice? just curious...
As soon as we go through Surah Al-A'la we shall start from the last Surah just to make sure everyones recitation is correct.know, but i think its better to start from the very last Surah and move onwards, because then the brain gets used to it and then the older surahs are corrected too.
Jazakallahkher Fe Dunya Wal Akhira.

Awww this a is great idea masha'Allah.
I don't know this surah, but i have been working backwards and just finished Al Qaria.
Brother Mu'maneen it's a really good idea to write the transliteration too because we can know exactly what your saying but if possible write arabic text too insha'Allah that way it will help us with our arabic too.
May Allah forgive all your sins and make you and all of us amongst the best of belivers in jannah and may he SWT answer all our dua's....Ameeeeeen.

This is an excellent site. The reason I use this technique is because I feel it is more effective to listen to recitation without the "singing" effect. This way one can listen to the Tajweed/recitation properly.
