btw I think I know that professor you are talking about. His research is based on the assumption that coerced confessions from the inquisition are somehow admissible as evidence. This is something completely independent of Zionism, the state of israel, or even the Holocaust. Blood Libel is the accusation that Jews drink the blood of christian children. This book might be debatable and controversial, but libel? No .... I guess you should answer this question first: did it ever happen or did it not at any time in the history? Never mind whether it is rampant or not.

I am referring to extreme group/sect within the Judaism that were involved in serial killing for this purpose. There are evidences, and the book laid it out. The men who were hanged in connection with the death of Saint Simonino were convicted on evidences. Confessions and testimony are called evidences. If you read it, Toaff further presents the case for his theory with more evidences.

So, the evidence exists. Maybe you do not like it or agree with it, but it does not necessarily negate it or make it less of a reality, right? But I understand how you come across like this. Jews are my cousin, so, I need to know what my cousins have done, good or bad. But maybe you are right, it's easier to say that the Christians are just evil for making up lies out of the blue about this so that they can hunted down the Jews for almost five centuries. Nonsense are all those Biblical verses about the synagogue of satan. Every group and people have their extremists, except the Jews.
