:sl: all,

I was wondering if there are any decent and free program out there that restore deleted files?

I installed Data Recovery, and managed to recover some files. But for a lot of them, I am only able to see previews of them I either get
'drawing failed' or 'preview unavailable' when i click on the thumbnails.

Does this mean the files are corrupt now? Or..?

It's only been a day since this little 'accident' occurred..so I'm pretty sure nothing has been overwritten yet...
:sl: I hope not anyways......

what do I do or install? (other than slap myself) :j:

Sister, didyou delete the files from the recycle bin too, like say "Empty items in Recycle Bin" or can you still see it in the Recycle Bin? If so, then select the item, right click and go to "restore item". If not, try these softwares:

Remember to keep multiple copies of your work in different locations so if something like this happens in the future atleast you'll have a back up :sl:.
