There are several ways to search IF
- from the 'Search' at top bar.
- from 'Search Forum' button at the bottom of each forum listing.
- from the 'Search Topic' at the bottom of each topic
- from Google search at top of pages.
You can search for topics and posts by any keyword(s), or topics posted by a specific member for those keywords. You can also find all topics made by a member, by typing their name without specifying any keywords.
You can choose to search in a specific forum, or in all forums. The search tool will pre-select a forum for you to search in, based on the forum from where you clicked the search word. But you can click any other section if you need to.
You may choose to search within any date range.
You may also search in the entire text of posts, or search in topic titles only.
You can also select to be shown the results as topics, or as posts.
When inside any forum, where topic titles are listed, you can search using the search button at the bottom of the list.
When inside any topic, you can also search within that particular topic, by keywords or member name, using the 'Search Topic' button at the bottom. This is useful specially with topics that carry several pages of posts.
