As-Salaamu aleikum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatahu

What does it mean to love the Messenger of God (pbuh) and how do we show this love:

Remember that if we do not love Allah and his Messenger (saw) more than all that is in dunya, including ourselves, that our Emaan is not complete

Asalam Alaikum

u are right brothers and sisters.

Our beloved prophet (SAW) brought justice in this world- he stopped girls being burried alive (for an example). he was a mercy to all mankind, therefore, we have to love him with all our heart because we are living securely today because of our beloved prophet (SAW) and we have to follow his sunnah and the guidance of the Holy Quran sent to him by Allah (swt) through the Angel Jibril

Walaikum Salam

Assalamu alaykum

regarding this posting i would like to share a hadeeth

Narrated by abu Hurairah" Allah's apostle Mohammed(SAAS) said by him whose hand my soul is, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and children.
(sahih bukhari, VOL 1 book 2, hadeeth NO 13)

May Allah bless us and guide us into the correct path.

Yes it's possible to the Messenger(saws) in dreams.

I don't think that there's a real way but you can think about the Messenger(saws) a lot during the day and ask Allah(swta) to let you see him in your dream(s).

I haven't read the article's but inshallah I will. I recall a hadith I read ages ago. It's Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 87, Number 122. I'm afraid I have no commentery on this hadith, perhaps someone else can elaborate?

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying, "Whoever sees me in a dream will see me in his wakefulness, and Satan cannot imitate me in shape." Abu 'Abdullah said, "Ibn Sirin said, 'Only if he sees the Prophet in his (real) shape.'"
