OHHHHH this is a good topic, I have found that I can not too go without my computer, cell phones. I take my laptop where ever I go, and if I forget my phones I feel like I have lost a child.

Some things have just come to be part of our daily lives, but the most important that I can ot live without is my Quran, since I have converted (2 months ago) I can not seem to put that book down, I have copys on my computer, and a freind of mine also has shown me that if you have that Razor phone you can get a copy for it as well. I might just have to get one.

well i def need extra pins with me when i go out. in case the one im using for my scarf pops or sumthing.
n i need my slippers with me when im wearing heels so that i can easily change em when my feet start to hurt.

I just realised.. I can't live without one our cars.. It's been away for a week and 2 days and I miss it. I want it back.

Other then that, i try not to get too attached to things. It hurts when you lose something your too close to.... So it is better to not have anything your too attached to...

Well said brother. I also prefer not to attach my self with some thing.
Although I take keys, wallet and glasses with me if go out.

Should I consider taking winter shoes when I wearing casual/sports shoes in cast it start snowing.

Salam brother

You can get decent nokia PDAs with Islamic software . My brother has one of these mobile fones with complete quranic software. Also i have whats called a Penman. It also good for learning to recite quran and listen to it!!!

As a brother who is new to Islam i welcome you to the brotherhood! Your skin colour which you mentioned in other threads is in immaterial in the court of Allah swt, it s only your heart and deeds that matter.

when i went to school, i always had to have a folder in my hand with me so i could stuff all my work in it.

Oh if we're talking school then I must have certain pencils, a certain eraser, certain paper, an assignment book, binders, portfolio, certain calculator, etc.

I'm a bit neurotic about that stuff...because now I'm using 'a system'

I only take my credit card and lip balm, which stay in my purse, which sits in my handbag which I keep in my shoulder bag. I like to travel light B)



Well... the only thing I check for is keys. Anything else goes on a 'need to use' basis.

well I have to draw graphs constantly so I need the paper that has squares on the back. They show faintly through the front so I can make proper graphs

No I meant engineering paper but I was trying not to say it. Graph paper is usually white with squares all on the front of the paper. Engineering paper is yellow with squares on the back.

It's probably more expensive too just because of the stupid name.

Lately, alhamdulillah, I've been keeping a prayer mat with me and making salat while I'm out and about. It's a great blessing from Allah to make salat outside where we can get the rewards of salat AND dawah, insha'Allah
