Arabic Islamic Shortcuts - Smileys - Emoticons

These are Arabic words that are commonly used among Muslims. It saves time, instead of typing the actual long words. It's also useful when your keyboard doesn't have Arabic keys, or when you don't even know Arabic! ... but you still want to impress someone!
Each emoticon has a shortcut. Just type the shortcut in your posts, and it will be automatically replaced by the Arabic words for it.
The following list shows each emoticon, its shortcut (in orange) - transliteration - and English meaning:

:wa: - Walaikum assalam - And peace be upon you
:b: - Barak Allahu feekum - God's blessing on you
:j: - Jazak Allahu koll Khair - May Allah reward you abundantly
:sa: - Subhan'Allah - Glory to Allah
:ah: - Alhamdu l'Ellah - All praise be to Allah
:aa: - Allahu akbar - God is the greatest
:sw: - Subhanahu wa ta'ala - Allah is pure of having partners and he is exalted from having a son
:s: - Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam - May the blessings of Allah be upon him
:la: - La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah - There is no power or glory except for Allah
:m: - MashAllah - As Allah willed
:as: - AstaghfurAllah - I seek forgiveness from Allah
:l: - La ilaha ill'Allah - There is no god except Allah
:i: - InshAllah - If Allah wills
:aam: - Ameen - May Allah accept
