These are Arabic words that are commonly used among Muslims. It saves time, instead of typing the actual long words. It's also useful when your keyboard doesn't have Arabic keys, or when you don't even know Arabic! ... but you still want to impress someone!

Each emoticon has a shortcut. Just type the shortcut in your posts, and it will be automatically replaced by the Arabic words for it.

The following list shows each emoticon, its shortcut (in orange) - transliteration - and English meaning:
