Assalam o Alaikum,

I read bismillah before breaking the fast. After first bite I recite dua for breaking the fast:

Allahuma laka sumtu wa-alaika tawakkaltu wa-ala rizqika aftartu.

Oh Allah, I fasted for you, I relied on you and I broke my fast by the food provided by you.

Most people recite this dua before breaking fast. If you read the translation entire dua is in past tense. So, it is better to recite it after breaking the fast.

Barakallah.

Assalamu alaikum, You can read any of the duaas the the brothers mentioned above. I just wanted to add that you can add your own duaas too, because according to a hadith, one of the times when duaas are accepted is the time of Iftaar. so make duaa for your self, your family and if you remember all of us at he time of iftaar.

may Allah accept your duaas, ameen.
Assalamu Alaikum, umAhmad.
