Those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance, after We have made it clear in the Book for mankind, will have Allah's curse and that of those who are entitled to curse.

I find surah Fatiha very beautyful....summing up the whole quran subhanAllah !
Allhamdulla...
Truely sister, very beautiful and great sura of the quran. Yet few realise the greatness of this sura. I hope no one minds, if I mention few things about this great sura, there are exhaustive account of the benefits of the recitation of this sura, here are just a few. Sorry about the lenght, Allah willing it will benefit many
Revelation - It was revealed in Mecca as stated by ibn Abbas and other. It is also claimed that it was revealed in Madeenah as stated by Abu Hurayrah and others. It is also said that it was revealed on two separate occasions – once in Mecca and once in Madeenah. However the first opinion is the most likely due to His saying. Because of the Verse in the Qur’aan: "We have sent to you the Seven Oft Repeated Verses." [Soorah Al-Hijr (15): 87] This verse was revealed in Mecca by agreement. .
Soorah Al-Fatihah – Revealed only to Prophet Muhammad. [2] Narrated Ibn Abbaas (radiyallahu anhu): “While the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam) was sitting with Jibreel (alaihi as-salaam), he heard a creaking sound above him. Jibreel looked up and said, "This is [the sound of] a gate that has been opened in heaven today and has never been previously opened." Then an Angel descended through it and came to the Prophet (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam) and said, "rejoice in the good news of two lights that have been given to you such as no prophet before you has been given. [They are] Surah al-Faatihah and the concluding [two] verses of Soorah al-Baqarah. You will never recite a word from them without being given the blessings they contain." [An-Nisaee and al-Haakim]
It is also said these verse where taken from the throne of Allah (swt)
Narrated Abu Hurayrah: “Prophet (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam) said: “[chapter commencing with], “Alhamdu lillahi Rabbil Alameen is the Mother of the Qur`aan, the Mother of the Book, the Seven Oft Repeated Verses and the Great Qur`aan. [Tirmidhee]
Narrated Sa’eed lbn Al-Mu’aliaa (radiyallahu anhu): “… Prophet (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam) said to me: “I will teach you a soorah, which is the greatest soorah in the Qur’aan before you leave the masjid, and he took hold of my hand. Then, when he was about to leave I said to him: “Didn’t you say to me: “I will teach you a soorah which is the greatest soorah in the Qur’aan. He (sallallahu alahi wa-sallam) said: “Al-Hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Aalameen (All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds) - Soorah Al- Faatihah, which is the Seven Oft-repeated Verses, and the Glorious Qur’aan which has been given to me. [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari]
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) once asked Jabir ibn Abdallah Ansari, “Should I teach you a surah that has no other comparison to it in the whole Qur’an ? Jabir replied, “Yes, and may my parents be ransom upon you O prophet of Allah. So the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) taught him surah al-Fatihah. Then the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) asked, “Jabir, should I tell you something about this surah ? Jabir answered, “Yes, and may my parents be ransom upon you O prophet of Allah. The Prophet (s.a.w.) said, “It (surah al-Fatihah) is a cure for every ailment except death.
Imam AbuAbdillah Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that whoever cannot be cured by surah al-Fatihah, then there is no cure for that person. In the same narration it is written that if this surah is recited 70 times on any part of the body that is paining, the pain will surely go away. In fact, the power of this surah is so great that it is said that if one were to recite it 70 times over a dead body, you should not become surprised if that body starts moving (ie. comes back to life).
There is much more mention about this great sura, Allah willing some other time
ma Salaama

[surah Haqqah]
And when the trumpet shall sound one blast
And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash,
Then, on that day will the Event befall.
And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail.
And the angels will be on the sides thereof, and eight will uphold the Throne of thy Lord that day, above them.
On that day ye will be exposed; not a secret of you will be hidden.
Then, as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: Take, read my book!
Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning.
Then he will be in blissful state
In a high garden
Whereof the clusters are in easy reach.
(And it will be said unto those therein): Eat and drink at ease for that which ye sent on before you in past days.
But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book
And knew not what my reckoning!
Oh, would that it had been death!
My wealth hath not availed me,
My power hath gone from me.
(It will be said): Take him and fetter him
And then expose him to hell-fire
And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits.
Lo! He used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous,
And urged not on the feeding of the wretched.
Therefor hath he no lover here this day,
Nor any food save filth
Which none but sinners eat.
But nay! I swear by all that ye see
And all that ye see not
Subhannallah! This surah and surah Inshiqaq

Holy Quran Al-Kahf Verse 28

Thought I would add some more that I think as very clear....
7. That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable,
78. In Book well-guarded,
79. Which none shall touch but those who are clean:
80. A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
81. Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem?
82. And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false?
83. Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-
84. And ye the while (sit) looking on,-
85. But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-
86. Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-
87. Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?
(sura number 56: The Inevitable)
It's so easy to forget that we're not independent!
