Images in posts, sigs and icons

IF allows you to post images in your posts, your signatures and your icon.
Whenever you upload any image, please remember that you must follow these guidelines:
Images:No images of weapons, flags or military uniforms.
Covered faces are not allowed as icons.
No direct images of blood, dead bodies, or anything that children should not see. Links to such images must be posted with a clear warning for users to read before clicking.
No images of nudity.
Signatures:You may have a signature to show under all your posts, provided that the signature meets the following limitations:
Maximum characters: 300 (only standard font size allowed)
Maximum images in signature: 1
image maximum file size: 10KB
image maximum dimensions (width x height): 400x60 pixels
Signatures exceeding any of the above maximums will be replaced with our standard sig announcement.
Additionally, image limitations, above, apply to all signatures.

Uploading an image:
if the image is in your hard disk drive, then, while posting, click the 'Browse' button, located next to 'File Attachments' . Its right before the 'Add Reply' button.
If you do not see such button, then your member group, or the forum you're posting in, may not have that option.
Posting an image from a link
If the image is somewhere in the web, then click the 'IMG' button on top of the post editing text box. A little window will open, where you have to type (or paste) the location of the image, then click 'Ok'. Do that in area of your post where you want the image to be shown. It could be between the lines, at top, or end of your text. Your choice.
Again, this option may not be avialable for your specific member group.
