it's a touchy subject, but one worth considering.

With all the good things said by Mohammed/Jesus/God etc, why do we continue the cycle of violence?

What will be the outcome of such things? More violence, probably.

Parading bodies around as 'martyrs' doesn't make much sense to me. Is it done to give them hope? It seems macabre to me, and sad.

The death toll on the Gaza is extremely worrisome, and terrible. The fact that we can't get in help only makes things worse. People deserve a better life than this, this culture of death. I hope for a better life for all of them, but this is all they seem to know because they were forced into this kind of life.

I fully admit that I'll never understand the Middle East. I've read a bit of its history, it was never united. Tribes fought against tribes there, just as they continue to do (Sunni/Shiite).

I'm not so sure what to think, except that both sides are wrong but one has better weapons.

This was not meant as an insult to the people of the Gaza strip and to Muslims in general. It's just a little confusing, but I don't understand extremists. Moderates are always the silent majority. Time to speak up.
