What was left unsaid

A deck of roses
walking with forgotten flowers
in my long lost lapel

the eternal trees following me
as I strolled along
pictured on a pathway
pine needles under my
long lost feet
the sun outshining
me on this afternoon
of the third day after
what was left unsaid

we couldn’t see
you see
that I could not
stand any more
of what was left unsaid
and so imagined I was free
and then saw
that there was nothing
you meant to me
in my head

my heart said something different
my soul swore it was a lie
due to the eternal attachment
I myself have to ‘I’

Peace and blessings

Seems like a memory, something that happened, involving a women.
I'm getting a picture of a wedding or some occasion, would you care to elaborate?

I would hesitate to interpret any poems of mine. Firstly I think they are too personal (known only to myself) and secondly I like to think they also can be applied to other people and/or situations (impersonal)
But, yes you are right in this case, something involving a woman was the inspiration. A wedding would be symbolic.

Thanks for your interest!
