If God forbade bananas and apples, I would say that God's order is to be followed. God forbade Adam (pbuh) and Eve (pbuh) to eat from the tree. Why? Don't tell me it is because of health reasons. He has forbidden us food during the fast of Ramadan. Don't tell me it is due to health reasons. They are fordidden to see who will obey God.

Tell me why interests was forbidden ,was it due to health reason or beacuse to avoid making people more poor and take their money unjustly.

So if God forbade for adam and eve to come close to the tree, has of course reason but probably not health reason.
