salaam alaiykum,

I was recently asked an interesting question by my wife. She asked me if Christianity is wrong then why is it in stories of demons and the like that crosses will typically be turned upside down by the spirits.

Anyone got any ideas/thoughts on this one?

you are serious? like story of the possessed girl in europe that the exorcism of Emily Rose was loosely based upon (just an example).

That you are asking which stories is just baffling to me I dont mean to be rude or anything of that sort. Perhaps I should clarify though. Such as in the real life accounting of the story of the Ammityville haunting (or whatever you want to call it) when at one point the inhabitants of the home watched as the cross which had been hanging up turned upside down. I can go over more examples if that is necessary. But, I really was not sure how to answer her on this because I have read these accounts and this does appear to be a constant thing.

I know those stories of course. But my point was has there actually been occasions where the jinns(demons) have actually turned the cross upside down? Just curious if that has happened. In such a case I refer you to post no. 3.
