I am unsure but I believe that my wife might be pregnant and if so I know it happened during Ramadan (not during daylight, obviously). Is this a good thing?

so is that a yes or no?
Insha Allah your child is Khair (good). If you mean because you got it in Ramadan, it is not a matter of when, it's a matter of who but even Allah who knows.
Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him was born in First Rabi'.
For death, I know it's blessing to die while praying, while fasting, in Ramadan, on Friday. My aunt died in the night of middle Sha'ban and happy for that.
May Allah forgive us all.
Be happy he will be a Saleh (good) child insha Allah.
Al Hamdli Allah

Firstly, having a child during any period of time is a blessing. If your wife is pregnant, then this blessing has been given to you in a blessed month. Yes, it is definately a good thing.
But to put it in perspective, you should not go overboard and think that it is something unique or special. A lot of people are concieved during Ramadan, yet it does not mean that their parents are pious, or that God is pleased with them, or that the offspring will turn great. Not saying that you are not pious or that God is not pleased with you. Not trying to be negative. Just trying to give some perspective.
