Umm Kulthum bint Muhammed Umm Kulthum was born six years before Prophet Muhammad’s prophethood. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) married Umm Kulthum to Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) after her sister Ruqayyah had died; Umm Kulthum was the second daughter of the Prophet who married Uthman. For this reason, Uthman was called the Posessor of Two Lights. Umm Kulthum remained with Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) until Umm Kulthum died in Shaban of the ninth year after Hijrah, although she did not have any children from him. Umm Kulthum was buried next to her sister Ruqayyah (may Allah be pleased with them both). Umm Kulthum was born six years before Prophet Muhammad’s prophethood. There are no observed facts in evolution. Allah is the Truth.

Has anyone on here been treated super badly by the Ummah? In what way? How do you overcome the sense of betrayal and the sense of being "kicked out" by your own Ummah? I asked some advanced questions about the deen and other sects of Islam (not because I wanted to join the sect, I just wanted some clarification about their teachings and how to do dawah to them) and I was treated like a spy/troublemaker. I ended up in tears... no one has ever treated me that way before and everyone involved knows I've only been a Muslim for a year and I have Autism. Now I understand the quote: "I'm glad I found Islam before I met the Ummah." It's super discouraging. In all my life I've never been treated so badly. (P.S. to the mod(s) I accidentally posted this first to the controversial issue section not knowing it was about fiqh. I'm sorry about that.I'm new here so I don't know my way around this site yet My bad.)

Islam has taught us live a balanced life with moderate attitude. No one is asked to take extreme actions in Islam. One can observe that the true Muslims are living a peaceful life. Therefore associating any type of radicalism with Islam is unjustifiable. Sacred teachings of the Holy Quran have taught to live in peace.

Yeah it's right that prayer timings are different across the world, and often who travels faced difficulties in finding the timings of prayers. But you know technological advancement have make our life easier, there are lots of mobile apps out there which can provide prayer timings and locate Qibla direction as well.

Joram van Klaveren is the second ex-PVV politician to convert. A former member of Geert Wilders’ far-right Dutch party announced Monday that he has converted to Islam. Joram Van Klaveren said he made the switch from critic to convert while writing a book about Islam. “During that writing I came across more and more things that made my view on Islam falter,” he told Dutch radio. Van Klaveren was a member of parliament for the Freedom Party (PVV) from 2010 to 2014, but quit the party after Wilders’ asked supporters during a rally in 2014 if they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands, to which the crowd chanted “Fewer! Fewer! Fewer!” After leaving the PVV, Van Klaveren set up his own party, For Netherlands, but failed to win a seat in the 2017 national election and quit politics. Van Klaveren was a harsh critic of Islam during his time as PVV politician, saying “Islam is a lie” and “The Quran is poison,” newspaper NRC reported. Asked in the newspaper interview if he feels guilty about these statements, Van Klaveren said he had been “simply wrong,” adding that it was “PVV policy: everything that was wrong had to be linked to Islam in one way or another.” Arnoud van Doorn, a former PVV official, was an earlier convert to Islam. Van Doorn congratulated Van Klaveren on his decision via Twitter, writing: “ never thought that the PVV would become a breeding ground for converts.” https://islamicnafahat.wordpress.com/2019/02/05/van-klaveren-dutch-former-anti-muslim-politician-converts-to-islam/

salam I would like to publicly apologise to all forum users especially Dot for something which happened around 15 years ago. I was a young teen and along with others, we exploited the flash-enabled icon feature to 'protest' against the banning of one of the users. It was silly and immature and till this day, I don't think it was discovered who was behind it. Today, I admit, it was my idea to exploit the flash feature in such a way. My actions caused disruptions to the users of this forum as they had to see annoying pop ups and it caused much frustration to Dot which led to flash being disabled on the forum. For that I sincerely apologise and I hope you forgive me. Rafiq (rofi)

Five times a day from hundreds of thousands of mosques and places of worship the sound of the Adhan (call to prayer) is heard throughout the world, announcing prayers five times a day. The Adhan (call to prayer) is that gentle meaningful alert after which Muslims stop and turn to the Lord, get in touch with Him; thanking Him, remembering Him, bowing down to him in prayer. Instead of using material objects to announce the prayers like a bell or any artificial or digital sound the Islamic Adhan is a human voice carrying a very delicate and passionate message. It has a special formula that affirms the faith in God and is a summary of the message of Islam and the content and nature of its teachings. The Adhan begins with an affirmation of the supremacy and greatness of God. Then comes the Shahadah (Testimony of Faith), which consists of the profession of the unity and oneness of God the negation of shirk (associating other beings/gods with Allah), and the confirmation that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of God. After that comes the call to the prayer and to success (in this life and Hereafter) and then rounding it up by praising God again as the great and affirming faith in Him. Each line is repeated for affirmation and emphasis. The words of the Adhan are articulated as follows: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Ash hadu an la ilaha illa Allah I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Ash hadu an la ilaha illa Allah I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Ash hadu anna Mohammadan rasoolu Allah I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah Ash hadu anna Mohammadan rasoolu Allah I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah Hay `ala as-Salah, hay `ala as-Salah Hasten to the Prayer, hasten to the Prayer Hay `ala al-falah, hay `ala al-falah Hasten to real success, hasten to real success Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. La ilaha illa Allah There is none worthy of worship but Allah. Now listen to the adhan said by Abdul-Baset Abdul-Samad, with its Arabic phrases displaying in beautiful Arabic calligraphy:
