  3. Need Help Regarding My Wife

Assalami alaikum brother. I think you should sit together and discuss it with an open mind. See what made her change, and if there is anything annoying her that you can fix. But if she insists on divorce without any compromise or any wish to continue living with you, then you have to let her go, and seek another wife. This would be best for both of you. There is no reason that makes you live with someone that doesn't love you or wish to continue with you.

  10. This is a pdf Mushaf that you can read online. Its in Arabic text. There are 2 versions, one with an Arabic meaning of the words as side notes, and the other version has the side notes showing the English meanings. The Color Coded Tajweed Quran. The idea behind this concept is to make reciting the Quran correctly so easy for those who do not know the rules of tajweed (rules of reciting the Quran) by coloring the word’s letter that contains a Tajweed rule, so as the reader recites the Quran; he/she will be able to apply the correct Tajweed rule through the color of the letter. All you have to note while reading is just 4 colors, without having to learn any tajweed rules. There are four main colours: · Red: indicates a long/short vowels. · Green: indicates the nasal (Ghunnah) · Dark Blue: used for letters to be emphatically pronounced · Light Blue: used for the sound of Qualqualah (plosive sound) · Gray: used to indicate the letters that are not to be pronounced Mushaf Al Tajweed in Arabic (with English meanings): http://www.gawaher.com/1/online-pdf-books/tajweed-en.html This copy of the Holy Qur'an clarifies its words and meanings by providing English explanations in the margins of the Arabic text. In this Mushaf, letters related to the Tajweed rules are distinguished within the text by the use of colors indicating areas of slow recitation. This technique helps simplify the rules of recitation for the reader in order to encourage and facilitate correct Qur'anic recitation. ------------------------------------------------------------- Mushaf Al Tajweed in Arabic (with Arabic meanings): http://www.gawaher.com/1/online-pdf-books/tajweed-ar.html This copy of the Holy Qur'an clarifies its words and meanings by providing Arabic explanations in the margins of the Arabic text. 16. Which Madhab Do You Follow?

:sl: IF does not allow discussions of different sects in Islam. This complex issue will require more than ordinary Muslim's knowledge to engage into various theological differences and interpretations of Islam. All Muslims should make Quran and Sunnah their only source of guidance. Therefore, we advise everyone to stay away from all sects. Please read about them in our 'Avoid All Sects and Cults' forum, here: http://www.gawaher.com/forum/163-avoid-all-sects-and-cults/ This topic is now closed.

  23. To All My Indonesian Muslims

Wa alaikum assalam brother I'm not from beautiful Indonesia, but I'll try to give you my 2 cents. Hijab is worn around the world in many different shapes and names https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_hijab Any dress that has the woman loosely cover her body, except her face and hands, is a proper Islamic dress. Where I live, women keep something close to that mukena in their homes, to wear while praying. They call it tarha or khemar. Some women go outdoors with it, as they feel its more decent to cover not just their hair and neck but also their chests to the waist line, over their clothes as a second more lose cover. Of course Muslim women should wear hijab at all times outdoors. Its regretable that some wear it only in masjids, not to mention those who pay casually or don't pray at all. May Allah guide us all to the right path.
  24. The word injeel, which means Gospel, has been mentioned 12 times in the Qur'an. Allah/God revealed to prophet Jesus PBUH the Gospel, which he preached to the Children of israel, and which is no longer in existence. It is important to know that the Gospel mentioned in the Qur'an, the true divine words revealed to Jeusu PBUH, has nothing to do with the 4 canonical gospels of Mark, Matthew, John, and Luke that Christians believe in today. Here are the 12 verses in which the Gospel is mentioned. 3:3} He has sent down upon you, [O Mu?ammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. 3:48} And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel. 3:65} O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason? 5:46} And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous. 5:47} And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient. 5:66} And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do. 5:68} Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. 5:110} [The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic." 7:157} Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful. 9:111} Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah ? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment. 48:29} Mu?ammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward. 57:27} Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah . But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
  25. I meant divine forgiveness of course, and I don't have to assume it. As soon as you say the Shahada and believe in it sincerely, you immediately enter the fold of Islam and have become a Muslim! As soon as you convert to Islam for the sake of God, Allah forgives ALL of your previous sins and you begin a new life with a clean slate, as if you had been reborn! As soon as you accept Islam, it is an automatic repentance from your previous beliefs and ways. Your record is now clean and you should try to keep your record clean as much as possible.
