  5. Sister In Law

Assalamu'Alaykum Kinship or blood relationships are the strongest natural ties. There is no substitute for a mother’s love for her child, and in return, a child’s devotion and gratitude to loving and caring parents. It is precisely because of the importance and strength of these relationships that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) said: "He is not of me who severs or breaks the ties of kinship." He also went on to say: "No sin is more swiftly punished than oppression, and the breaking of family ties." source:you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_aaiil(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/text/articles/others/familylifeinislam.shtml

Assalamu'Alaykum I love S.A. its very nice... I have been there and i went to the girls madressa in lenasia, i think there are 2 sides of the story as always. even thought its not a muslim contry you feel as thought it is brothers and sisters walking around with parda and beards. I loved the feeling Alhamdulillaah of course there is crime and there still is racism and all that but if u look at it from the Islamic perspective its gr8 i loved how the fast foods had to get the SANA stamp ( is that what it was called?) to be proven for halal food... I miss machacos and debonairs pizza and there AK 47 subs... :D Ok but Madressa life i agree with sister mm_ca its really bad but i guess if you are sincere and there to please Allah then its good but i honestly wouldnt recomand anyone to go there. :D anyway unfortunalty i didnt really get to see S.A properly because i was in Madressa the whole time and we couldnt get out much but when we did it was nice and the MALLS were MASHALLAH! tahts all i can say. i didnt even feel i was in Africa, there are LOTS of Indians mostly gujrati... i spent 2 years in S.A i would love to go back. and visit but i dont knwo if i would go back to Madressa though i left in my second year i couldnt take it anymore :D but overall Alhamdulillaah i went i was a life changing experence for me and i thank Allah for that chance. Btw mm_ca your a Durbanite :D i heard its beautiful but never got to go see inshallah i will visit there... and capetown. Brother Musafir dont take it to personal ppl will have different ideas and opinions. but i got your back. inshallah. B) S.A ROCKS!

  16. The 3 Little Pigs

Assalamu'Alaykum This story i heard from a friend of mine and thought it was very funny.. and we can tell our children/little brothers and/or sisters/niece and/or nephews. If you know this story you may scroll down till you reach the Bold writing and read from there... The Story of the Three Little Pigs Once upon a time there were three little pigs, who went from home to seek their fortune. The first that went off met a man with a bundle of straw, and said to him:-- "Good man, give me that straw to build me a house." The man gave the straw, and the little pig built his house with it. Presently came along a wolf, and knocked at the door, and said:-- "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." But the pig answered:-- "No, no, by the hair of my chiny-chin-chin." So the wolf said:-- "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in." So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew his house in, and ate up the little pig. The second little pig met a man with a bundle of furze, and said:-- "Good man, give me that furze to build me a house." The man gave the furze, and the pig built his house. Then once more came the wolf, and said: "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." " No, no, by the hair of my chiny-chin-chin." "Then I'll puff, and I'll huff, and I'll blow your house in." So he huffed, and he puffed, and he puffed and he huffed, and at last he blew the house in, and ate up the little pig. The third little pig met a man with a load of bricks, and said:-- "Good man, give me those bricks to build me a house with." The man gave the bricks, and he built his house with them. Again the wolf came, and said:-- "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." "No, no, by the hair of my chiny-chin-chin." "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in." So he huffed, and he puffed, and he huffed, and he puffed, and he puffed and huffed; but he could NOT get the house down. Finding that he could not, with all his huffing and puffing, blow the house down, then he:-- turned around and walked away. The pigs saw this and were shocked as they saw the wolf walk away, They quickly rushed out and called to the wolf “Oh wolf why didn’t you try to trick us and eat us?†The wolf turned around and said, I remembered that PIGS ARE HARAAM..... :D :D :D The End.

  18. Another Day Of Embarrassing Luck

Assalamu’Alaykum Subhanallah... brother all that damage and you didn’t even buy anything?! Austugfurallah... j/k... :D Mashallah brother you have alot of modesty. I think its natural for brothers and sisters in Islam to feel this way. I once was late for an MSA meeting at my college and decided to rush into the room, being 10 mins. late I was already embarrassed Tell me why did I walk into the entrance of the brothers side :D ! I wished I would have dissapered in my hijab. But Alhamdulillaah now I don’t worry about it since I am a Niqabi. Alhamdulillah I cant see you, you cant see me. :D

  25. Is It Harder To Grow A Beard, Or Wear Hijab?

Assalamu'Alaykum Mashallah really makes me happy that some brothers acually side with the sisters who wear hejab... :D really means alot... but i think now adays (dependsing on where u live) hejab isnt a BIg deal anymore... its normal... and as for the beard its becoming a fashion... i honestly cant tell the difference anymore and soome non muslim men are acually growing the beard inaccordence to the sunnah trimed moush. long beard. i think it was during winter qurater 2003 at my college i was trying to sign up new muslims on campus to the MSA... i would walk to those who i thought where muslim and tell them about it then i saw a "brother" with no moush a beard and his pants above his ankle.... i said "Assalamu alaykum did u hear about the MSA on campus" he looked at me and was like.. "sorry im not muslim" ! i was like :D ummm sorry then he said "i get that all the time" btw the pants over the ankle thing i guess was the style... he had them up with rubber bands! :D And i see some girls out with head wraps?! muslims and non muslims alike wear it as a fashion anyway so my point is that hejab and beard really arnt as hard as they use to be now its the "Niqab" and pants over the ankels yes these are very HARD! anyway may Allah give those who try to be know as muslims great rewards and those who dont may Allah give them the strength to try.
