  5. Support Muslim Funday

Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem Assalamu'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh 1st National Muslim Fun Day at Alton Towers As you may be aware Islamic Leisure Ltd has organised the 1st National Muslim Fun Day at Alton Towers to be held on Sunday 17th September. This is a unique event where all our guests will be able to enjoy the theme park in a family environment free of alcohol, smoking, gambling, immodest dress and music, aswell as segregated adult ride areas in accordance with Islamic requirements. Alhamdulillah we have had a very good response from many people, seeing this as a long overdue project. However due to some negative publicity in the media following critiscism from fringe elements with ulterior motives and agenda, Alton Towers are feeling the strains of this project. They have as a result highlighted the distinct lack of support from the Muslim community for this project and thus require us to compromise on aspects of this fun day that are essential to an Islamic and family-friendly environment. We at Islamic Leisure believe that this will go against the whole ethos of the event and therefore will be insisting upon the original agreed conditions. We therefore call upon the support of our brothers and sisters and all who wish to support our cause by writing to Alton Towers showing your support for this event and calling upon them to give their full backing to this event. Please note that Alton Towers has been privately hired on many occasions in the past and has been hired for a gay day at the end of September without an issue being made. Also the park has been booked out for a 'naturists weekend' in November where guests will be required to strip off and walk around the park naked. Yet a greater issue is being made out of people being required to dress modestly subhanAllah. It would be of great benefit if you mentioned this in your emails to Alton Towers inshaAllah. Please address all emails to events[at]alton-towers and carbon copy(Cc) them to info[at]islamicleisure.co.uk so we can monitor the response. We would also appreciate any letters of support for the event sent to Islamic Leisure especially from organisations as proof to Alton Towers of the support for this event. We thank you for your time and efforts. Jazakumullahu khairan wassalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh Islamic Leisure Ltd

  10. BismillahirRahmaanirRaheem ULU ISOC in conjunction with GKT present the ULU Monthly Circle PIRATES OF THE MIDDLE EAST A lecture by brother Murtadha Khan The birthplace of Islam was an area given great honour by Allah (swt). With the power of imaan, the boundaries of the Muslim empire stretched far beyond the Arabian peninsula. Yet the whisperings of Shaytaan and the deceit of the dunya has now plunged the region into division, nationalism, war, weakness and cowardice. What happened? Why did it all go wrong and most importantly what can be done to regain our honour in the Sight of our Creator? Come along and take benefit from this gathering for the remembrance of Allah. Please pass this message on also inshaAllah. ".........We were of the most disgraced of people and Allâh granted us honour with this Islâm. Now, whenever we seek honour in other than that which Allâh honoured us with, Allâh shall disgrace us (once again)." (Umar bin Al-Khattab) Thursday 20th July 4.30pm New Hunts House Lecture Theatre 1, Kings College GKT campus Nearest Station: London Bridge Abu Hasnayn Murtaza Khan graduated from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in June 2001 with BA Honours in Usool-ud-Din and has been actively involved in the field of da'wah for many years. At present he is an Islamic Studies teacher in al-Noor Primary School, London. He is also a visiting khateeb at Al-Ansar Islamic Education Centre, Islamic Da'wah Centre and University of East London. He has worked closely with numerous organisations and individuals to promote Islam and has translated and presented various seminars and lectures. He is involved in da'wah across the UK and travels extensively to promote and revive the pure and monotheistic religion of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. 12. Death & The Pope

Assalamualaikum, SubhanAllah!! If the pope died without saying the Shahaada then he will no doubt be given glad tidings of the Hell-Fire. There is no issue of we can't judge, we can't judge what the treatment of a muslim will be, a kafir's end is CLEAR CUT!!......nothing more to it. Please read my refutation on the first page!!! SubhanAllah it is unbelievable to see such ignorance here. If you do not believe that someone is a kafir when he so obviously is, then that will take you out of the fold of Islam also! Fear Allah brothers and sisters for it seems most of you aren't even clear upon what you are on! Turn off your computers and go and study Tawheed & Aqeedah!! 90% of the posts here are pure ignorance, there are only a few brothers and sisters who know what they're talking about. Your all confusing each other. Wallahi this forum does my head in sometimes
  13. Death & The Pope

PLEASE READ Assalamualaikum, Indeed Allah is the Most Gracious Most Merciful, and grants pardon to whomever He wills. Brother you are extremely confused and your views are dangerous. You say there is a chance of being forgiven IF you believe in God, and whether you are a muslim or not doesn't matter. Then we might as well abandon everything we stand for, everything we struggle for, everything we believe in and everything that comes with believing in Allah and sit back and become agnostics, hoping that Allah will forgive us when we die. Over and over in the Quran and hadith we are told that anyone who dies on anything other than Islam will never enter the Paradise. We have no right to judge the believers regardless of how they are or were....as Allah may decide to forgive them. But when a kafir dies, he is guaranteed the Hell-fire, and this is based on evidence from the nusoos (texts) and NOT emotion or temperament. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. [Aal ‘Imraan 3:85] In this case we are talking about the Pope, head of the Roman Catholic Church with 1.1 Billion (so they say) followers world-wide. You think he was innocent of his disbelief in any way?? The very basis of his beliefs was the trinity and attributing Godhood (na'oodhubillah) to Isa'bnu Maryam. Allah is clear about this: “Surely, they have disbelieved who say: ‘Allaah is the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary).’ But the Messiah [‘Eesa (Jesus)] said: ‘O Children of israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: ‘Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)’ [al-Maa'idah 5:17] Clear enough yes???? 'Ala' reported on the authority of his father who reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: If a believer were to know the punishment (in Hell) none would have the audacity to aspire for Paradise, and if a non-believer were to know what is there with Allah as a mercy. none would have been disappointed in regard to Paradise.(Muslim, Kitab at-taubah) In regards to this last hadith, why is it mentioned that the kafir would still believe he/she still had a chance of entering paradise if he/she knew the extent of Allah's Mercy?? It is clear brother, no matter how bad a muslim he or she is, Allah may still forgive them and admit them to the Garden. No matter how a kafir is, if he dies on his disbelief he will abide in the hell-fire forever. Bro, I don't mean to be harsh but it seems the only one reacting without knowledge and from emotion is you. It is a shame that many of us spend countless hours poring over this forum putting up post after post when we don't even know the basics of Tawheed and Aqeedah. I don't spend much time here and I really think it should be closed down, as it does more harm than good. Instead of approaching people of knowledge with questions, they're posted up here and answered by people with even less knowledge who end up confusing themselves and everyone else. But anyway, it clear what the fate of the Pope is from evidence in the Quran and Sunnah. What I have mentioned is a small part, there is much more supporting this. It is correct that saying so and so will go to hell is no small thing, but if it has been proven from authentic sources and that person openly disobeyed and disbelieved then it is obvious. As bro mu'maneen mentioned, even the close family of the Prophet (SAW) wasn't an exception, it was clear they died on other than Islam and they were dwellers of the Hell-Fire. Allah says: It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allâh's Forgiveness for the Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief). (9:113) "After it has become clear to them" has been proven by the above ayaat detailing the fate of a Christian who dies on his beliefs. So if even the Prophet (SAW) was forbidden from praying for non-believers, who are we to do the same....let alone believe that they may be forgiven????? The very person who he believes will welcome him through the gates of heaven, will disassociate himself from him on the day of judgement! The Pope is going through the trials and punishment of the grave now. Anyone who disagrees with me bring forth your proof if you are indeed truthful. This is not a statement of arrogance or pride, may Allah shield us from such disgusting characterstics. I don't meant to be harsh, but the whole reason I wrote this is because those of you who know Aqeedah know this basic principle: "Whoever is not convinced that the person who disbelieves in the religion of Allaah is a kaafir, does not believe what Allaah has told us about their being kaafirs, and he does not believe that the religion of Islam abrogates all previous religions and that all people must follow this religion no matter what their religion was before" For more on this goto "http://63.175.194.25/index.php?ln=eng&ds=qa&lv=browse&QR=6688&dgn=4"]63.175.194.25/index.php?ln=eng&ds=q...e&QR=6688&dgn=4[/url] Please don't fall into these traps of shaytaan. Allah has made clear to us how to avoid the hellfire. Study Tawheed and Aqeedah to gain a firm understanding on what it means to be on the right path, and so you avoid confusing yourself and others. Wa Alaikum Assalam
  14. Assalamualaikum, A brother asked me to post this article he wrote as he is banned from this forum. Please have a read, it is an excellent article mashaAllah and something we should all reflect upon inshaAllah. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BismillahirRahmaanirRaheem, The Vatican says. "This evening or this night, Christ will open the doors to the Pope" Allah says “for them the gates of heaven will not be opened, and they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle (7:40) It seems that the 84 year old Pontiff is finally breathing his last. As I type, every news channel is covering this story. Live pictures are being broadcast of hundreds of people keeping vigil outside the pope's apartment, and millions of catholics around the world are holding night time mass praying for his recovery, something his doctors describe as impossible. Yet their futile attempts will not relieve the leader of the catholic church of the sakratul mawt (agonies, afflictions of death). The man who claims he "already sees and touches the Lord" is in the final few moments of his life. His aides describe him as fully conscious and serene, yet as a muslim a shiver runs down my spine as the numerous ayaat and ahaadith come to mind describing what he will soon face. Soon the angel of death will come and reach out his hand, and this "soul at peace" will soon be hiding within the deepest crevices of his body desperately trying to avoid what will befall. The promise of Allah is always true: And if you could but see when the Dhâlimûn (wrongdoers etc.) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allâh other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayât with disrespect! " And truly you have come unto Us alone (without wealth, companions or anything else) as We created you the first time. You have left behind you all that which We had bestowed on you. We see not with you your intercessors whom you claimed to be partners with Allâh. Now all relations between you and them have been cut off, and all that you used to claim has vanished from you! (6:93-94) When the disbelieving sinful servant is about to leave this world and enter the next, angels, powerful and severe, descend to him from the heavens, their faces black and carrying with them coarse strips of cloth from Hell. They sit before him at a distance as far as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death arrives, and sitting at the head of the disbeliever, he says, 'O you foul soul, come out to the anger and wrath of your Lord!' The soul inside the disbeliever's body is overcome by terrible fear and tries to hide burying itself deep within the body, whereupon the Angel of Death violently pulls it out like multi-pronged skewers being yanked out of wet wool, tearing with them the arteries and nerves. Upon this, the soul is cursed by every angel between the heavens and the earth and by those inside the heavens. Then the doors of the heavens are closed to him, and every single guard at these doors begs Allah that this soul not be carried up in front of him a blind, deaf and mute person who holds in his hand a hammer, if a mountain is hit with it, it would disintegrate, and he will beat him with it until he becomes dust, and then Allah will render him to his initial form, and he will beat him again, and he (the wicked) will cry of sorrow and pain a cry that will be heard by all creatures except humans and jinn, and a door of hell will be opened unto him within his grave and will spread out for him sheets of hell fire." Then he will say: "My Lord do not bring the hour!" As we await for the angel of death to arrive at the Vatican with his sackcloth, it is time that we as muslims reflect upon this to examine what direction our lives are taking, what are our hands putting forth for the hereafter and, if the angel of death were to arrive at our doorstep.....would we fervently wish for more time in a vain attempt to repent and compensate for our sins??? Surely death is not something to be taken in jest nor it's remembrance something to be left to rot in the darkest depths of our mind emerging occasionally at a Janazah prayer or death of a friend/relative. So why has this inevitability, one of the few constants, one of the few certainties in our life been given such a low rank in our thoughts and in our plans? Surely our mindset is different from that of a Kafir, in that they believe either they are destined to enter through the pearly gates because Jesus died for their sins, some other ridiculous fairytale based on conjecture......or have absolutely no idea what's going to happen and couldn't care less. Surely we are in posession of the book of which there is no doubt, the Quran, from the One who created life and death and to Whom we will all return. This and the teachings of his Prophet (SAW) have detailed clearly to us the purpose of life, how we came from Turaab (dust, the earth) and how back to it we shall return, how to prepare ourselves for this eventuality and how to save ourselves from the torment of the hellfire. Yet the shackles of this worldly life and it's mental enslavement have made us lose perspective and sight of our true goals. Today the furthest we plan is applying for another job and looking for a partner, without putting much thought to whether we will be of those in Allah's shade when there will be no other shade or if we will be of those who cross the bridge over the hell-fire in the blink of an eye or if our sins will cause us to fall head-first into it. We invest in properties, in shops and businesses yet are tight fisted towards in the path of Allah, in causes that will benefit us from the moment we give until the trumpet is blown and the dead are raised. Our minds have become prisoners to this life, perceiving it as a reality so much so that zuhd has been replaced by greed and Al-Wahn (love of this life and hate of death).....and the mention of the hell-fire and paradise barely cause us to blink let alone evoke any greater reaction. Have we become so insensitized and so weak in faith, that the descriptions of the hell-fire and the grave sound more like something out of a horror film to us, something so terrible that we can't or even don't want to think about it?? Wake up.....because it is as real as the rain that falls from the sky and the trees that prostrate to their Lord....at least they're certain of the reality subhanAllah. I have to admire the Pope's calmness and serenity no matter how short-lived it will be, he has firm conviction in his beliefs and knows the reality of death.............even if he is on falsehood. Now if the ummah were to react the same way i'm sure it would be finding itself in a much better position than it is. It's a shame that a kafir who will never smell the fragrance of the Garden of 'Adn has more conviction in his heart of his falsehood than many muslims do of Islam.....aren't we supposed to be the ones on the truth? As the soul of the Pope is being tortured, we should use the time to reflect on our shortcomings and use this event as a stern reminder to ourselves. No one is guaranteed to live out the average lifespan, countless are cut short everyday while people toil in their worldly pursuits. The angel of death is indiscriminate, on orders from his Lord to collect the soul at it's appointed time, kept hidden from us. Remember death more frequently and more importantly ask Allah to strengthen you to carry out your obligations as well as making the effort. So pick up a prayer mat and do your duty 5 times a day....fulfilling the covenant between yourself and a non-believer. Salah is a unique link between you and your Creator. Whoever abandons it not only abandons his faith but also cuts him/herself off from the only One who can give success in this life and the hereafter. Sisters who claim to fear Allah, know that the hijab is more than a cloth. It is a description of what you are. You cannot have inner hijab (honour, haya, modesty in actions and words etc..) without having outer hijab (modest dressing and not putting yourself on display) and vice versa. One cannot exist without the other just as you cannot worship two deities. Brothers who claim to fear Allah, don't maim your faces as did the destroyed people of Lut, it is an essential characteristic of a muslim and in the fitrah of a man.....A lion without his mane is a lioness. Oh muslims, don't let your hearts be ridden with arrogance, pride and hypocrisy. When you are given advice take it without getting angry or too proud. Never think you have nothing left to improve on for this is a trick of Shaytaan who wishes only to drag you with him into the Blaze. We ask Allah to forgive us our sins, to strengthen us against trials in this life, and to grant us success in the hereafter. We ask Allah to give us the iman that makes our hearts tremble at every mention of the punishment of Allah, at every walk past a graveyard and the death of every kafir, so that it serves as a reminder to us and strengthens our hearts even further, upon the truth. We ask Allah to give us the will to constantly turn to Him in repentance.....until the soul reaches the collarbone and it becomes too late. “Allaah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm. (14:27) Ejaz Taj 04/2005
  15. Amazing.....

Lol, these sort of threads crack me up. That hand one seems quite ambiguous. What's amazing is that none of you managed to notice that that the shape of our fingers on the back of the right hand or the front of the left spell "Allah" in arabic???
