  1. Who Here Wants 2 Years Of Forgiveness By Allah?

Assalamu Alaykum Forgiveness is only for the believers and not for the kuffar and making haram halal and halal haram is kufr. So if someone makes halal the sins because of the forgiveness then this person is not among the believers anymore. You know that plotting against Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is kufr. True believers do not fall into sins because of Allah's Forgiveness. You also have to make a difference between violating the rights of Allah and the rights of a human being. If you violate the right of the human being then you have to ask the human being for forgiveness, before you meet your Creator, and before death approaches. Every deeds is rewarded according to one's intention. Salam
  2. Dieting And Keeping Fit

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu This is a lecture about how important fitness and sports are in Islam. The speaker gives us examples from Qur'an and Sunnah about this topic. He explains how the prophet and the sahaba kept themselves fit. You need to know that their lifestyle forced them to be physically active. They did not have job such as sitting in offices. Their work and daily life naturally made them fit. The walked a lot which means tha hiking, but also going walking is a good way to keep yourself fit. I believe that riding camels and horses keep one fit: (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yethalaltube(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/yaser-birjas-fitness-in-Islam"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yethalaltube(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/yaser-birjas-fitness-in-Islam[/url]
  3. Who Here Wants 2 Years Of Forgiveness By Allah?

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu The hadeeth does not give a green light to commit sins, because plotting against Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is not a sin, but kufr. Making halal haram and haram halal is also kufr. Therefore, sin that are forgiven are those that are done unintentionally or intentionally, by out of desire or unawareness. However, making the intention to sin the whole year is kufr. If you violate the rights of a human being then you still have to ask the person for forgiveness. It is mainly talking about minor sins.
  4. Meteorology?

Assalamu Alaykum To HCEveningWalk: The following information may be beneficial as well. It is somewhat related to your question and deals with Astrology and Astronomy. Astrology vs. astronomy Are we allowed to read our star signs? Praise be to Allaah. Al-Bukhaari said in his Saheeh: Qutaadah said: “Allaah created these stars for three purposes: to adorn the heavens, to stone the devils and as signs by which to navigate. Whoever seeks anything else in them is mistaken and does not benefit from them, and he is wasting his time and effort in seeking something of which he has no knowledge.†(Saheeh al-Bukhaari, Baab fi’l-Nujoom, 2/240) The study of the stars is divided into two kinds: 1- Study of the influence of the stars (astrology) 2- Study of the positions and movements of the stars (astronomy) Study of the influence of the stars (astrology) is divided into three categories: 1 – The belief that these stars have a real influence in the sense that they create events and evil. This is major shirk (shirk akbar), because whoever claims that there is another creator alongside Allaah is a mushrik in the sense of major shirk, for he is regarding a created thing that is subjugated as a creator which subjugates. 2 – Making this a reason to claim to have knowledge of the unseen, so from the movements and changes in the stars he deduces that such and such will happen because such and such has happened to such and such a star. For example, he may say that one person’s life will be miserable because he was born under this star, and that another person’s life will be happy because he was born under that star. This person is taking knowledge of the stars as a means to claim that he has knowledge of the unseen, and claiming to have knowledge of the unseen is kufr (disbelief) which puts one beyond the pale of Islam, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say: None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghayb (Unseen) except Allaahâ€[al-Naml 29:65] The grammatical structure used in the original Arabic – starting with the negation laa (translated here as “noneâ€) followed by the word illa (“exceptâ€) – is one of the most emphatic ways of expressing exclusivity. So if a person claims to know the unseen, he is effectively disbelieving what the Qur’aan says. 3 – If he believes that the stars are the cause of good or bad things happening, this is minor shirk (shirk asghar), i.e., when something happens he attributes it to the stars (and only attributes it to the stars after it has happened). The basic principle is that whoever believes that one thing is the cause of another when Allaah has not made it so, is overstepping the mark and not acknowledging Allaah as He should be acknowledged, because the One Who makes things happen is Allaah alone. For example, if a person seeks healing from a piece of string (tied around his wrist), and says, “I believe that healing is in the hand of Allaah and this string is simply the means,†we would say to him, “You have saved yourself from major shirk but you have fallen into lesser shirk, because Allaah has not made string a clear means of healing. By doing this you have transgressed against His position of Controller and Sustainer, by making something a means to something else when Allaah has not made it so.†The same applies to one who regards the stars as the cause of rainfall when this is not the case. The evidence for that is the hadeeth narrated by al-Bukhaari (801) and Muslim (104) from Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani who said: “The Messenger of Allaah SAWs (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) led us in praying Fajr at al-Hudaybiyah, following rainfall during the night. When he had finished praying, he turned to the people and said, ‘Do you know what your Lord has said?’ They said, ‘Allaah and His Messenger know best.’ He said, ‘This morning one of My slaves became a believer in Me and one became a disbeliever. As for the one who said, “We have been given rain by virtue of Allaah and His mercy,†he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars. But as for the one who said, “We have been given rain by such and such a star,†he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars.’†So the one who attributes rain to the stars is saying that the stars caused the rain. Study of the positions and movements of the stars (astronomy) is divided into two categories: 1 – If their movements are used to define things that serve a religious purpose, this is something that is necessary. If that helps in the case of religious obligations, then learning it is obligatory, such as using the stars to determine the direction of the qiblah (direction of Makkah). 2 – If their movements are used to define things that serve a worldly purpose, there is nothing wrong with that. This is of two types: (a) Using the stars to work out directions, such as knowing that the pole lies to the north, and that the Pole Star, which is close to it, revolves around the North Pole. This is permissible. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And landmarks (signposts, during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves†[al-Nahl 16:16] (b) Using the stars to work out the seasons, through learning the phases of the moon. Some of the salaf regarded this as makrooh while others permitted it. The correct view is that it is permissible and there is nothing makrooh in it, because there is no shirk involved in it, unless one learns it in order to attribute rainfall or cold weather to it, and says that this is what is causing that. That is a kind of shirk. But simply knowing the time of year from it, whether it is spring or autumn or winter, there is nothing wrong with that. See al-Qawl al-Mufeed by Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him), 2/102.[/b] Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid
  5. Fake Id?

Assalamu Alaykum 1. You would practice a fraud yourself 2. You would assist someone else in fraud 3. You would assist this brother in smoking haram hasheesh. Instead of hasheesh you should go with him to a restaurant and eat Sheesh Kabab.
  6. Meteorology?

Assalamu Alaykum The question the topic starter asked is a valid question and deal with real situations and he wanted to increase his knowledge about meteorology which is beneficial knowledge. He might have refused to take the job out of ignorance of the rulings and conditions. Remember, that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam cursed a person who gave a wrong fatwa to a brother who died because of that. We have the incident where the sisters were granted lessons and one of the women asked the Prophet how to clean herself after the menses although this is a natural thing, but they wanted to make sure there is another way they may not know. One time a Sahaba asked a question which seemed illogical to the Sahaba who were amused about the question. The prophet, however, defended this sahabi by telling them that there are not stupid question. If someone does not know he should ask.
  7. Meteorology?

Do you want to worship and practice in ignorance. This is about fiqh and does not have to do anything to do with the verses that you refer to. These are not hypothetical questions. Eid Mubarak
  8. Meteorology?

Assalamu Alaykum there are no stupid questions and everyone has the right to ask questions if they have not the knowledge. There may be rulings that you and we may not be aware of?
  9. How Do We Know If We Are Guided?

Assalamu Alaykum 1. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala provided the guidance for us through the Prophets and Messengers. 2. Allah provided the guidance for us through showing us the Straight Path which are Qur'an and Sunnah. 3. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us how to stay on the Straight Path and what to do if we are going a stray path. Salam
  10. Prophets Adam To Ibrahim(as)

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu 1) Why were the angels reluctant for Allah(SWT) to create Human beings? Either they already knew what they would do on earth or they already had experience with the Jinn and they assumed that the humans are going to the same direction. For sure they did not understand the Wisdom, but Allah knew. 2) What is the difference between a messenger and a prophet? The messenger is a prophet who delivers the Risala. 3) What was the first thing that was created? According to one narration it was the Pen. 4) What were the other types of creatures apart from Humans and what are they made off? Jinn are made of smokeless fire (electricity?) and Angels are made of light. 5) What was Iblis and what was he made from? Iblis was a Jinn made of fire. 6) How does the Quran and Sunnah tell us different people of different colours came about? Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala took dust from different regions of the earth which were in different colors and with different qualities. Water was added to the dust so it became clay and then after drying in the sun it became sticky clay and then black smooth mud. This material was formed to the shape of Adam and it became clay like pottery. Then the soul was put in Adam and Adam was. His descendants came out with different colors and with different qualities according to the sand. 7) How many years did Aadam(AS) give Dawud(AS)? 40 years 8) What age did the angel of death come to Aadam(AS)? 1000 - 40 = 960 9) What was the family background of sheeth? He was the son of Adam alayhissalam. 10) Where is Sheeth(AS) mentioned? Quran or Sunnah? Sunnah 11) How many heavens has Allah(SWT) created? Seven 12) What number heaven did prophet Muhamed(SWS) meet Idris(AS) when me made the dissention? Fourth Heaven 13) Who are the 5 Walil Azam? 1. Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam 2. Ibraheem alayhissalam 3. Musa alayhissalam 4. Isa ben Maryam alayhissalam 5. Nuh alayhissalam 14) How many years of Dawaa’ did Prophet Nuh(AS) give? 950 15) What did the people ask Saleh(AS) to create from Rock to prove he was a prophet? a She-camel 16) What were the 3 restrictions when Allah(SWT) made this happen? - they don't harm the camel - they drink from the water only every second day - they can drink the camels milk if they are thirsty 17) What did the people who didn’t believe in the prophethood of Saleh(AS) plan? They plotted to kill it. 18) How many of they planned this? 9 19) What was the message given to the people after the committed their act of war against Saleh(AS) and how did they act? After they killed the she-camel they tried to kill the family of Saleh. They received the message that they have only three days to live. The people of Thamud were so busy with dunya that they did not care about the incident. They believed because of their secure homes inside solid rock they are safe. Through their arrogance they believed that nothing can harm them. 20) How were they punished? While they were in their beds inside their homes inside carved in solid rock, a heavy sound wave appeared and killed them. 21) Why did they whole nation get punished and not just those individuals? They were silent majority who did not interfere in the evil of the evil 9. They were bystanders who did not interfere therefore they were included in the punishment. On the other side we know from a hadeeth that if a punishment is upon a nation it also destroys the good among them. But in akhira then they are treated according to their deeds. 22) How many times is Ibrahim(AS) mentioned in the Quran? I don't know 23) What are the two nicknames of Ibrahim(AS) and why? a) Ummah, because he was an nation by himself. He is the father of the nations of Ishma'eel and Ishaaq. b) Khalil, because he was a friend of Allah, because he was mostly the only believer in the places he went. 24) Where was Ibrahim(AS) born? Chaldea/Mesopotamia 25) In the story of the Idols why did the people leave the town? There was a festival 26) What reason did Ibrahim(AS) give to be excused? He said that he was sick 27) What did Ibrahim(AS) do when they left and then came back? He destroyed the all idols, except for one. 28) What What was his punishment? being burnt alive 29) Relate the story when Ibrahim(AS) met the powerful dictator? Ibraheem alayhissalam talked with Nimrod about the issue of life and death. Nimrod boasted that he is able to give life and death by executing someone and by free someone from execution. Ibraheem did not continue with this topic in the debate, because he recognized that Nimrod only wants to argue and turns it into a joke. Ibraheem changed the topic and defeated Nimrod with information that he cannot deny. Ibraheem asked Namrud to bring the sun from the west. He was utterly defeated. 30) How did Ibrahim(AS) end the debate with this dictator? He defeated the Nimrod by changing the topic. He asked the king to bring the sun from the west. 31) Relate the story of the birds? What exactly happened? Ibraheem alayhissalam already had the level of Ilmu-Yakeen and wanted to reach the level of Aynu-Yakeen. Therefore, he asked Allah to perform a miracle in front of his eyes. He was told to grind four birds and them on four mountains. The birds came back alive. 32) Which prophet was the nephew of Ibrahim(AS) and the only believer at that time? The prophet was Luth alayhissalam 33) What were the three lies of Ibrahim(AS)? 1. When he was in his town the people went to a festival, but Ibraheem did not want to go so he told them the he was sick. But this was not a lie, because it was true that he was sick of their action. 2. When the people asked him who destroyed the idols, Ibraheem told them that the Biggest Idol did it. This was for Dawah. 3. Sara was a beautiful woman and the wife of Ibraheem. When they came to Egypt, Ibraheem was scared that they kill him and take Sara. This would happen if they knew that she was his wife. Therefore, they agreed to tell them that she is his sister. This is not a lie because she was a believer and she was the sister of Ibraheem, a Sister in Islam. 34) What is the story behind how Ibrahim came to know Hajjar, his wife to be? (note lots of marks for this question, so don’t leave out any important details) The Egyptians took Sarah the wife of Ibraheem and the King of Egypt wanted to have her as wife or concubine, but everytime he wanted to touch her Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala protected her by sending ayat upon him. After it repeated he decided not to have her and set her free and as a gift he gave her Hajar. Hajar later married Ibraheem. 35) How did ZamZam come about? Relate the exact story. (note lots of marks for this question, so don’t leave out any important details) Ibraheem alayhissalam and Hajar came to a deserted land. In that place Ibraheem told her to stay. Hajar first was wondering why he leaves her there. When she found out that this was an order of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala she became faithful and put her trust in Allah. They lived in the deserted land with dates and some water. The dates and the water ran out. So Hajar needed water and food. She thought that their may be people passing by so she made the sa'y to check if their were bedouins etc. After the seventh time, she suddenly heard a sound coming from underneath the ground. The Angel Jibreel appeared next to Ishma'eel who was with her all the time. Suddenly, water came out of the ground from the spot where Isma'eel lied. The water came out like a fountain, but Hajar raheematullah ran to that spot and interfered because she thought that the water may go into the sand and be gone. Because of the interference it became a well. If she left it, it would be a flowing stream. The well is named Zam-Zam because Hajar said zam zam while digging the well. 36) What happened when Ibrahim(AS) went to visit Ismail(AS)? Ibraheem went to the house of Ishmael, but only his wife was present. He asked the wife about their life and she started complaining about their life. He told her to give salam to Ishma'eel and to tell him to change the doorstep. When Ishma'eel arrived home he already felt that Ibraheem was there and he asked his wife if there was a visitor and she replied with: "And elderly person visited her and asked me to deliver salams to you and to tell you to change your doorstep." Ishma'eel knew that it was his father and that he ordered him to divorce this wife. (His obedience toward his father and prophet needs to studied deeply!!!!!!) Ishma'eel divorced his wife and later another wife. Ibraheem alayhissalam visited Ishma'eel again and found his wife alone. She was very content and Ibraheem was happy with her. 37) Did Ismail(AS) take the advice of his father? Then what happened the second time Ibrahim(AS) went to visit Ismail(AS)? Ibraheem alayhissalam visited Ishma'eel again and found his wife alone. She was very content and Ibraheem was happy with her. 38) How did Ibrahim(AS)get the message to sacrifise Ismail(AS)? Through a vision which appeared to him in a dream. Dreams of the Prophets are Revelations which are Wahy. 39) Why can’t someone’s father start to slaughter their own child taking Ibrahim(AS) as an example? because Ibraheem did not slaughter his son but an animal which was replaced to Ibraheem. Ibraheem also knew from the example of the birds that Allah can bring back Ishma'eel anytime like He did with the four birds. If Ibraheem ground his son life these birds and put them on a mountain Allah would give life back to him and Ishma'eel returns. This is the Trust Ibraheem put in Allah. Ibraheem already had the Aynu-Yakeen in these things, so to fulfill this task was easy for him. This is not a sunnah because he did not slaughter his son. It was part of the wisdom of Allah that He did not let Ibraheem slaughter his son, because in his foreknowledge Allah knew that if he would slaughter his son then the people after him would take this as a sunnah. Human sacrifice is prohibited and this incident does not permit human sacrifice. However, there were people who did not understand the story who started human sacrifice as part of the religion (moloch). 40) Who started to build the Kabba? It is Ibraheem alayhissalam and his son Ishma'eel alayhissalam who built the Kaaba. If they were the first who built it we don't know. However, they were at least the first after the flood. Questions about the Story of Nuh alayhissalam and Hud alayhissalam are not covered yet. This assumes that there will be a second part?
  11. Why Jesus Is Not God!but A Prophet Of God!

The belief in the sonship of Jesus to God is based on Greek Mythology and not true. Maybe, the writer of the Pauline Epistles read too much Homer and wanted to have their own real Odysseus.
  12. Very Beautiful Recitation

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu This is a miracle of Allah subhaanahu wa ta'ala, because such as large crowd standing together shoulder to shoulder and feet to feet in such a peaceful manner. The way they stand clearly remind me of the Day of Judgment where/when we are going to stand in a similar manner in ranks. Each nation will be summoned. The followers of Isa bin Maryam alayhissalam are going to follow Isa bin Maryam in similar manner. Isa will be the Imam and the people will stand peaceful behind him. This is the way I imagine the Day of Judgment during the Hisab Stage which will take place, Allah knows best, in the Seventh Heaven in a place Allah decided. The followers of the other prophets will follow their prophets in a similar manner. Just imagine you stand on a day of judgment in such a peaceful manner behind your prophet which is Rasulullah Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. I wished I could watch them making sujood which is another miracle of Islam. Other religions need music to entertain themselve, but in Islam the only music that is played, which is a most powerful music, is Peaceful Silence. Here peace lives on earth.
  13. Why Are We Committing Sins?

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu Why are we committing sins?[using large font size is not allowed] Why are we ignorant people? Why are we so attached to this world that we fight over it and destroy our hearts and the best of treasures? Why do we live like the people of Ad living as tyrants attacking innocent people and behaving as if we live on this world forever? Why do we live like the people of Sodom sleeping with each other being rude and cruel to strangers/illegal immigrants and doing evil against our brothers and sisters? Why are we leading our lives like the people of Thamud full of pride and arrogance? Why are we like the people of Madyan who immitated the evils of their forefathers and who are corrupt when it comes to financial transactions and introduced secularism into the world? Why do we follow their corruption in business and politics without commemorating their punishment? Why are we living like the people of Moses and Noah just doing what we want ignoring our Creator and being ungrateful to the Sustainer and Cherisher of this world? Why are we copying the path of Pharaoh by creating tyrannic dictatorships and monopolies or by believing that we are gods and idols? Why do we ignore the fact that everyone is meant to die?[using large font size is not allowed] We are ignorant because we do not really love Allah Subhana Taala enough We do not love and fear Allah because our hearts are rough and stubborn Our hearts are rough and stubborn Because we do not know our Creator That is why we ignore or are not aware of the fact that we all will meet our Creator To make our hearts soft and God-conscious Is not very difficult Actually it is very easy to accomplish but the majority does not know We solve this problem by learning about Al-Akhira - the Afterlife If we know the Afterlife our hearts will be attached to it That means that our hearts will also be attached to the Creator of the Akhira That means we love to meet our Creator[using large font size is not allowed] Remember, we can serve only one master either Allah Subhana Ta´ala or this materialistic dunia Remember, our hearts will be there where our treasure is So, if our treasure is in Paradise our hearts will be in Paradise and if we place our treasure in dunya only then we will find it in dunya and our hearts would be attached to dunya. The best treasure is not our family nor our money nor the palaces and rivers of Paradise nor Eternal Life. Not even meeting with the best of creations the Prophets and Messengers of Allah not even meeting the angels Gabriel or Michael or Israfeel The best treasure of all is that Allah Subhana Ta´ala is completely pleased with us and tells us that He will never ever be annoyed with us anymore and that Allah is happy with us. So happy so pleased that we have eternal freedom and an eternal home and eternal peace. The greatest treasure is when Allah gives us without measure just because he is pleased with us The best treasure is when Allah shows us what his names mean, when Allah shows us what ArRahman and ArRaheem means. If we know what it means to please Allah Subhana Ta´ala, then we never want to displease Allah. We are eager to please Allah and receive Allah´s love and protection and reward and we have love, fear, and hope of Allah and are scared not to please Allah and are pleased to please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala ONLY[using large font size is not allowed].
  14. Do We Have Free Will?

Assalamu Alaykum Imagine a Labyrinth (have you ever read the book or seen the movie (The Flowers of Algernon?)): Imagine you have a labyrinth in front of you: You are the one who built the labyrinth and you are able to control the labyrinth. You take a two mice and put them inside the labyrinth. You leave them be and let them walk until they find the way out. The right way is the way to jannah and the other ways that lead astray. You have somehow knowledge about the mice because you studied them for a long time and you know their behaviour. Therefore, you have the foreknowledge of what this or that mouse might do, because you expect the mice in a certain way in a certain situation, but his does not have to be that case, because the mouse may do an action that you would not expect. You created the means for the mouse to either fail or win. You created the possibilities. You know what happens if this mouse goes to this or that direction, but you don't control the mouse itself. You control the labyrinth. With a push at a button the might be a wall come down to crush the mouse or a hole appear where the mouse may fall into, but you do not force the mouse into the hole or you do not you your hand to lead the mouse to the wrong or write direction. If you do it then this is guidance for the mouse. You have the foreknowledge, but you leave the decision to the mouse which way to go. The mice cannot control the labyrinth itself, but the mouse can make the decision which direction to go if it stands at a crossroad. There might be signs which help the mouse to identify from true and false.
  15. What Happened Between These Two Events?

There is nothing bizarre about it, because Al Aws and Al Khazraj are Ansar from Madinah. They travelled from Madinah to Makkah to meet with the Messenger of God, Muhammad, Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam secretly. One of them decided to pray towards Makkah because he felt that it is more appropriate to pray towards the House built by Abraham. However, there instruction that praying towards Makkah had not come down, yet. When they met with Muhammd they asked him about the ruling about the direction of the prayers. The Prophet replied with Jerusalam. However, you need to know that Muhammad was in Makkah. And he prayed toward the Kaaba in the direction of Jerusalam. He was praying to both Kaaba and Masjid- Al Aqsa to the same time, but when he made hijraah with the companions he felt the same like the Ansar, because now he was between Kaaba and Jerusalam and he could only pray to one of the directions. The Ansar came secretly to Makkah to meet with Muhammad and pledge allegiance to Muhammad. They gave them the pledge to host him in Madinah and protect Muhammad from all sides. There is no conflict.
