    :D Enjoy. ------------------------- Quick Fig Pastries Preparation time: 15 mins Total time: 25 mins Makes: 8 servings, 1 pastry each 8 FIG NEWTONS Fruit Chewy Cookies, finely chopped 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted 1 pkg. (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Mix cookie pieces, sugar and margarine; set aside. SEPARATE crescent roll dough into eight triangles. Sprinkle cookie mixture evenly onto triangles; press gently into dough. SHAPE crescents and bake as directed on package. Serve warm. Substitute Prepare as directed, using your favorite flavor NEWTONS Fruit Chewy Cookies. ------------------------ :D

    :D Enjoy ! ----------------------- Layered Salad-ations Preparation time: 30 mins Total time: 12hrs 30 mins Makes: 4 servings, about 3 cups each Take 6 cups shredded salad greens (iceberg, napa cabbage or romaine), 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheese and 1/3 cup each MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing and BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream and mix & match your recipe from these options... If using (this meat): - 2 cups chopped cooked chicken, then (vegetable choices) 1-1/2 cups grated carrots, 1 cup bean sprouts, 1/2 cup sliced radishes. & the possible add-in is this 1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger; 2 green onions, chopped If using (this meat): - 2 cans (6 oz. each) tuna, drained, flaked then (vegetable choices) 2 cups blanched green beans, cut into 1-1/2-inch lengths; 1/4 cup sliced pitted black olives & the possible add-in is this 2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced; 2 Tbsp. OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits If using : - meatless: 1 can (19 oz.) black beans, drained then (vegetable choice) 1/2 cup each chopped red and green pepper; 1 can (12 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained & possible add-in is this 2 Tbsp. TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Salsa; 12 tortilla chips, crushed Follow these easy steps: SPREAD salad greens onto bottom of 8- or 9-inch square glass dish; top with meat. ADD layers of vegetables, add-ins and cheese. COMBINE dressing and sour cream; spread evenly over cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours or overnight. Meal Serve with your favorite fresh fruit. Easy Use an off-set spatula to spread the dressing mixture evenly over top of layered salad. ----------------------------- :D

    :D Enjoy! ------------------------- Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad Preparation time: 15 mins Total time: 15 mins Makes: 4 servings 1/2 cup KRAFT LIGHT DONE RIGHT! Classic Caesar Reduced Fat Dressing, divided 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper 1 lb. large cleaned raw shrimp 6 cups torn romaine lettuce 2 cups tomato wedges 1 cup fat free seasoned croutons 1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded or 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese MIX 2 Tbsp. of the dressing, lemon juice and pepper in large bowl. Add shrimp; toss to coat. Remove shrimp from dressing mixture; discard dressing mixture. GRILL or broil shrimp 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until shrimp turn pink. TOSS lettuce, tomatoes and croutons with remaining dressing in large serving bowl. Top with shrimp; sprinkle with cheese. Extra Serve with lemon wedges. ------------------------------------- :D

    :D Enjoy! ---------------------- Spicy Asian Shrimp Salad Preparation time: 15 mins Total time: 15 mins Makes: 4 servings 6 cups shredded napa cabbage or romaine lettuce 2 cups (about 6 oz.) pea pods 1 can (15 oz.) baby corn, drained 1/2 lb. cleaned medium shrimp, cooked 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips 1/2 cup KRAFT LIGHT DONE RIGHT! CATALINA Reduced Fat Dressing 1 Tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce TOSS cabbage, pea pods, shrimp, red pepper and corn in large bowl. MIX dressing, soy sauce and hot pepper sauce. Add to cabbage mixture; toss lightly. Substitute Substitute 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cooked, cut into thin strips, for cooked shrimp. Substitute 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed, for canned baby corn. ------------------------------ :D
  5. :D Enjoy ! ------------------------ 5-Minute Shrimp and Pea Salad Preparation time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Makes: 4 servings 1 lb. frozen cooked large cleaned peeled shrimp (21-30 count) 2 cups frozen peas 6 cups Boston lettuce leaves 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onions 1/4 cup KRAFT Ranch Dressing PLACE shrimp and peas in colander; rinse under hot water until thawed. Drain well. Place in large bowl; set aside. ARRANGE lettuce on 4 plates to resemble cups. ADD onions and dressing to shrimp mixture; toss lightly. Spoon into lettuce "cups." Substitute No peas on hand? Prepare as directed, using frozen corn. Food facts Shrimp is readily available, already peeled and cleaned, in your grocery store's freezer case. Just thaw in the refrigerator overnight or rinse under cool water in a colander until thawed. -------------------------- :D

VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up 1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, chopped 1 can (15 oz.) chili with beans 1/2 cup chopped green peppers 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce MIX all ingredients in 2-qt. microwaveable bowl. MICROWAVE on HIGH 6 to 8 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 3 min. SERVE hot with tortilla chips, NABISCO Crackers or assorted cut-up fresh vegetables. Special Extra For more heat, mix 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper with other dip ingredients before microwaving as directed. --------------------------------------- :D

    :D Enjoy! ---------------------------- Cream cheese clouds Preparation time: 10 mins Total time: 35 mins Makes: 12 servings 1 can (16.3 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits 1/2 cup sugar 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cut into 12 cubes 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Separate dough into 12 biscuits; press or roll each to 1/4-inch thickness. MIX sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish. Dip cream cheese cubes in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar. Place 1 cheese cube in center of each dough circle, gather up sides of dough to enclose filling. Press edges of dough together to seal. Place, seam sides up, in lightly greased muffin pan. Drizzle with any remaining butter; sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon sugar. BAKE 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Size These melt-in-your-mouth biscuits are prefect for serving a group of guest on a special occasion. Variation Make a savory snack by preparing as directed, substituting 1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese and 1 tsp.
