1. At saturday I attended the 28th Annual Conference. The Islamische Gemeinde in Deutschland e.V. (Islamic Community in Germany) organized the event this year in my hometown under the title of "Muhammad (s.a.w.) - Rahmatulil Alameen". Next to guests like Dr. Ayyub Axel Köhler, Ali Kizilkaya and Dr. Issam al-Attar, Amr Khaled and Shaikh Omar Abdul-Kafi were invited, too. Unfortunately, the latter couldn't make it, but still the speech of Amr Khaled was definitely the highlight of the whole event. He was already receiving standing ovations before he had the chance to say a single word. >> (www.)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_truelife200iv.blogspot(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/2006/11/28th-annual-conference.html"]Go Here!

3. Why In The End Of The Prayer Must Be Said Salam To

:D You do give your Salam to all the angels and people on your right and then the same to the people and angels on the left. And I think with angels are not only meant those that write your deeds. :D
4. Need To Know Something?

:D I don't think you should ask this the masses on a discussion forum if you expect fatawa-like responses. Please, contact a scholar and do as well tell him your sin, because different sins have to be handled in different ways with. :D
5. About Gambling

:D If money or other properties (of wealth) aren't involved I wouldn't consider it "gambling" anymore. :D
6. To Hear Music Or Not That Is The Question!

:D this topic has been dicsussed already lately in various other topics: (www.)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=24226"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=24226 (www.)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=24112"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=24112 (www.)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=19465"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=19465 :D
7. :D I've read the following two things on the internet but I can't find it again to controll if they are even true. I'm scared that Shaytan fooled me with wrong information that I maybe told 1 or 2 people too much. Well, when I'm sure I still could tell them before wrong things spread. #1: a hadeeth in which Muhammad (saw) advices Umar (ra) to make Duah to become Shaheed when he sees the Kaaba, since the duah made while looking at the Kaaba the first time will be accepted. #2: the highest court in france still has or had a picture of Umar (ra) on the wall, because they looked at him as the most just leader of all time. May Allah forgive. Bringing everything straight again if all is just made up is the least I'll have to do, so help me! :D
8. Question On Islam!

:D I don't know how to answer that question. but couldn't the missionary be asked the same about his god? well, the question is ignorant anyway and is only asked to stirr up fitnah, so the best is to say Allah knows best (Allah-ho-Alam). A few points to gain knowledge about Islam (without visiting Madrassa or Dar-ul-Uloom) in no specific order: 1. Stay in contact with your local Masjids and sit with the elders and more educated (in sense of Deen). if there is a halqa of taleem then always try to join them regularly. 2. start your own taleem halqa with family/friends. 3. if you have a chance then go on the path of Allah. 4. practise what you already know and Allah will give you knowledge about what you don't know. (I think Muhammad s.a.w. said this) 5. get a personal library with Islamic books in a language you are comfortable with. I hope this helps a little. :D
9. Sisters, How Would You Feel?

:D If I keep my discussions just to gain knowledge about my deen and increase my Imaan I think it's allowed. Didn't one of Muhammad (saw) wifes teach men behind a curtain? or was that only allowed because of certain circumstances? see I'm not sure, but I'll soon ask someone qualified Insh'Allah but will have to accept and apply the "fatwa" that's for sure. back to your "case": Look, as far as I know it goes down like if you like a girl/woman you can tell your family (parents, elder sister, aunty or whatever) to contact her family and then they do questions/anwsers. I THINK it's unislamic to do the questions/anwsers on yourself without family knowing. Remember I'm no Ulemma or whatsoever, so I'm not saying everything has to be like I'm saying. May Allah forgive me. :D
10. What The Right Soloution For This

:D I think her husband should talk about to her in a soft way, tell her what Allah and the Messenger narrated about black magic, shirk and things of those kinds. Make some effort to bring her back on the right path, if there's still an atom-sized dot of Imaan in her heart there's Insh'Allah still a chance. If the husband tried everything standing in his power and Allah hasn't chosen to guide this womam or she doesn't want to then I would suggest Talaq as well. Of course she has to repent, but not sure if she has to take Shahada again.
11. Sisters, How Would You Feel?

:D Sister Masooma is 100% correct in my honest opinion. being "face to face" with someone for a half hour would bring more than e-mailing back and forth for a week. What is bugging me the last few days is that interacting with the other gender on a discussion forum is probably haram too... dunno. I know that lying to two persons that have "beef" to end the "beef" isn't haram, so I think lying to not break someone's heart is okay. It's like Muhammad (saw) when he came home and there was nothing to eat, he said it's okay and that he was fasting anyway... allthough he didn't. By the way I think that would be the best anwser as well. :D
12. Sisters, How Would You Feel?

:D 1 quick question: how do you find out how religious the sister is or how her character is from those marriage websites or chatting?
13. Folding Clothes

:DI remember this hadeeth too! :D
14. Are You Proud To Be British?

:D First off I'm not from the UK. Yeah, nationalism is a stupid thing and has been taught by the west to us Muslims. On the other side Muhammad (saw) (almost) shed a tear when he had to leave Mecca and said something along "I would've never left you if I didn't have to." So I thing it's nothing wrong about loving the place your from. :D
15. Amazing

:D Subhan'Allah! There are signs of Allah everywhere you look! :D for the read! :D
