You are right. No such concept exists in Islam.

No, idolatry was introduced in the Temple: "'The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it He built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "In Jerusalem I will put My name." 5For he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. 6He made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD provoking Him to anger.…

I don't think the concept of sacrifice presented in Leviticus and Judaism is the same as it is in Christianity. Nor do I think the sacrifices in Leviticus foreshadow the atonement of Christ as per Christian thought. Thus, there is nothing to really reconcile because I don't look at it from a Christian point of view.

I don't have any reason to consider sacrifices offered to God illicit. However, if I am not mistaken, the Hebrew Bible and Jewish history records that sacrifices to false gods took place in the Temple.

Hello, I haven't read an Islamic text which explicitly states that, but there is no reason to deny that it took place.

Hello, It is considered a holy place by Muslims.

Why Trust The Islamic Sources? Isn't It A Matter Of Faith

1) The Moon was not split for a long period of time. It was split only for a few moments, seconds. 2) It's not like God cannot prevent sea tides even if He splits the Moon. -
Muslims definitely don't say that Allah and Yeshua, i.e. Jesus, peace be upon him, are the same. They are entirely distinct beings with Allah being Jesus' Lord, Creator.
-
Because some of them were superior in rank compared to the others. For example, the Prophet Muhammad, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Noah, peace be upon them all, are Messengers of strong resolve, and their rank is superior compared to the rest.

The thing is in order to understand the Bible, or any book for that matter, you need to understand the original language. You don't personally have to understand the language, but somebody better understand it. Well, what I have gotten from the Jewish vs. Christian debates is that Christians do not understand Hebrew or try to misrepresent it. In other words, the Jews are telling you do not understand the Bible. Is that considered a fail?

The same applies to the rest of the Prophets (pbut). Come on. The Ten Commandments and Noah? Sure, these are movies not considered proper from an Islamic perspective but they aren't insulting. The movies aren't there out to portray Moses or Noah, peace be upon them, in a bad light. By the way, I know Prophets, peace be upon them, like Jesus are portrayed in a bad light and made fun of in the media. It's sick. Muslims don't like it. However, the fact that the caricatures of the previous Prophets haven't caused such a huge controversy as the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), doesn't mean that the latter has been elevated to the level of a minor deity or that he is worshiped.
-
This is just stating the obvious. The same exact thing applies to the rest of the Prophets (pbut).
-
Muslims don't distinguish between Prophets (pbut) by saying this one is a true one and this one is an impostor, like the Jews and Christians do. However, Allah Himself says in the Qur'an that He has favored certain Prophets above others.
-
Well, I have read Jewish vs. Christian debates. Language comes up often. So, it appears that in order to perfectly understand the Bible, you really do need to understand the languages.

Wa 'alaikumu as-salam Take a firm stance. Tell her that you were in a relationship before her and you have repented and changed your ways. Tell her that your relationship was not based on lies. Tell her that you would very much like to marry her and hope she feels the same way too. Tell her that she will marry the man who has repented. However, tell her that you understand if she does not want to get married anymore and that you are sorry for causing her pain like this. There's not much else you can do apart from this and making dua.- 1 reply
