  1. Need Your Du'as.. :'(

:sl: We ask Allah to grant him a speedy recovery, and to make this trial a cleansing of his sins and forgiveness for him, and a means to draw nearer to Allah :sl:. May Allah bestow upon him and his family sabr during this difficult time.
  2. Um.. Can We Really Celebrate Mawlid?

Bismillah. :j: brothers and sisters, When we look at the celebration of the Prophet's birthday :D , first we have to ask ourselves: Why are we doing it? The answer, of course, is: We do it out of love and respect for the Prophet :D , and we hope to gain reward from Allah :sl: for that love, and for this action. So now that we've pinpointed the 'why,' we as Muslims have to ask ourselves: How does a Muslim express his love for Allah and His Messenger? Because obviously, if we are going to show Allah our love for His Deen, and if we are going to expect Him to reward us for it, we should do it according to His rules! And Allah :sl: is so Generous and Merciful, He already told us how to express our love for Him: “Say (O Muhammad): ‘If you (really) love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali-'Imran 3:31) Allahu Akbar! The way to express our love for Allah is to follow His Messenger. In return, Allah will love us and forgive our sins! Now, with the specific issue of mawlid, how can we say we are doing this out of love of RasoolAllah :D, when he never did it himself? Didn't he say: “The best of speech is the Book of Allah, and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The most evil of things are those which are newly-invented (in religion), and every innovation is a going astray.†(Muslim & an-Nasa'i) And if the one who truly loves the Prophet :D would celebrate his birthday, how come there is no evidence that his beloved wife, 'Aisha (RA), celebrated it? Wasn't she the moved beloved person in the world to him? And his closest male companion, the best of the Sahaba, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (RA), did he celebrate it? How about 'Umar (RA)? 'Uthman (RA)? 'Ali (RA)? These were the closest of people to Rasoolillah :D, and his best followers. How come they didn't express their love for him in this manner, during his life or after his death? Surely, if it was pleasing to Allah , they would've been the first to do it!! Prophet Muhammad warned us against exaggerating his status, he said: “Do not exaggerate about me as the Christians exaggerated about the son of Maryam. I am only a slave, so say, ‘The slave of Allaah and His Messenger.’†(Bukhari) May Allah forgive our brothers and sisters who have fallen into error, and we ask Him to reward them for their love of Rasoolillah, and to join us all together with our beloved :D in Jannat al-Firdaus. Allah knows best.
  3. On Islamic Supremacism And Sharia

Lars, let me try to explain why some religions might consider all disbelievers to be in Hellfire. For example: Islam and Christianity. Because we believe that Allah (God, our Lord) gave us everything. He feeds us, He clothes us, He has created us, He created this earth that we live in, He created these minds that we use to think, the eyes that we use to see, the ears that we use to hear, our limbs, fingers, heart, etc. He created this world and He created us. Obviously, there was a reason. We understand that He explained to us the reason by revealing the purpose of life to men who became Prophets and Messengers of Allah. Their job was one and the same: to relay the purpose of life to mankind. Allah created us, and all He asks of us is that we dedicate our actions in life to Him. We will do these actions ANYWAY. We will all live ANYWAY. We will all die ANYWAY. So why does one turn away from his Creator? The reason why someone can't possibly make it to Paradise without believing in his Lord and His Commandments, is because the denial of his Lord completely ruins all his good deeds. It is as if a kid grows up to be a very good man, but he denies his parents. He refuses to acknowledge them or give them any credit whatsoever. He finds random things like people, idols, statues, etc. and gives the credit to them instead of his parents. But this case is even worse. Because your parents don't do everything for you. Your Lord does. He is always willing to accept His slaves' repentence, as long as they are living. He is Most Generous, Most Merciful, Most Kind, and oft-Forgiving. If you ask Him to guide you to the truth, He will surely do it. But you have to seek the Truth.
  4. Sister In Need Of Help

:sl: sister, Always remember to ask Allah to help you. Don't ever think you are too far from Allah to request His help. Ask Allah to strengthen your iman and make the deen of Islam easy and enjoyable to you. And ask Him to guide you and to make you hate any other way of life. When kuffar give you strangle looks because you wear the niqaab, don't let it stop you! Think about it! For every strange look you get, Allah is giving you loads of hasanaat (good deeds), or taking off loads of sayyi'aat (bad deeds). And remember, Prophet Muhammad :sl: said: “Islam began strange and will return to being strange as it was, so Tuba (a field of heaven) to the strangers.†(Muslim) Doesn't it please you that the Lord above seven heavens is happy with your veil? Doesn't it make you smile to know that when you pray, you are conversing with your Creator? And He is replying to your dua and your requests? And He is pleased that His slave is prostrating to Him? When a kaafir gives you a bad look, consider for a second who this guy is. It's some dirty kaafir who denies Allah as his Lord. This kaafir refuses to prostrate to Allah, and he is happy with that. He may even curse Allah and insult Prophet Muhammad :j:. He is jealous that you are wearing a hijaab and niqaab. Why? Because his wife, his sister, and his own mother are all pathetic. They go outside with very revealing clothes, and perfume that can be smelled from across the street, and enough make-up on that it covers their true face. All this so they can get the attention of men. EVEN if he is walking with his wife, she is dressed this way. He sees other men looking at her and he gets angry but he never does anything because this is regular. He probably met his wife in a nightclub when they were both drunk. In a few years, his daughter will be the same. He is angry with his failed life. He denies Allah and turns away from the beautiful deen of Islam, so Allah has made his life miserable. So he takes out his anger on the only respectable person he sees on the bus: you. He is used to a world of filth and disgusting sights, but when there is one respectable, honorable, dignified Muslim who only cares what her Lord thinks, not what kuffar think, all the kuffar stare and wonder what can drive a person to be so honorable? What causes these Muslims to live so honorably (when they truly follow their religion)? Finally, try to find sisters such as yourself who have love for the deen of Allah, whom you can spend time with and be around. It's always good to be in good company who remind you of Allah every time you see them. May Allah guide you and me and all our brothers and sisters.
  5. Farawn Body Found?

Allah said in the Qur'an that He will preserve firawn's body as a sign for the later generations.
  6. Talibaan Declare A State Within Pakistan

Hey Hanafi, fear Allah. Have you no respect for the Muslims who are actually sacrificing for Allah?
  7. Rule #22

:sl: Muslims, fear Allah admins. You allow a person to continue to post after he insults Allah and His Messenger :sl: and the deen of Islam? Have you no shame or gheerah? Yet when one of us Muslims is practicing al-walaa' wal-baraa' by being harsh with a kaafir who is insulting our deen and attempting to ridicule our mujahideen and our women and our brothers and sisters all over the world, you quickly reprimand him and take action. Please change this rule, it is very insulting. {Moderator note} This post has violated forum rule #8, 37. Action taken. 8. Rule #22

Assalamu 'alaikum Muslims I have a big problem with rule #22: 22- insult Allah/Prophet/Islam/scholar/member: disable 10 I think it's very insulting that the same 'punishment' is given for insulting Allah or His beautiful deen, or His final Messenger :sl: and insulting a member. Especially a kaafir member. I would suggest that the punishment for insulting Allah, Islam, or Rasoolullah :sl: is a permanent ban. And insulting a Muslim member is a 20% warn, and insulting a kaafir member should be allowed. {Moderator note} This post has violated forum rule #8. Action taken. 9. wa 'alaikumassalam Who cares? Why do scientists spend so much time and effort 'studying' such useless garbage?
  10. Face Veil To Be Banned In Maldives

Which terrorists, exactly, do you speak of? Please, bring me the articles, or whatever proof you have. Then, kindly explain to me why they are terrorists. Covering your face with a veil - especially in the West - brings more attention to yourself. So it's not really a disguise for 'evil terrorists.'
  11. Main U.s Base Attacked

He's not a Muslim, he's a filthy kaafir. He is a clown, that is why he chose that name.
  12. Your Favorite Verses from the Quran

9:24. Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. 9:38. O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. 9:39. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. For Allah hath power over all things.
  13. Main U.s Base Attacked

Why is that, O worshipper of false idols?
