  1. Salam, A phrase comes to mind: "You are better off with a smart enemy, rather than a (ignorant) friend". :sl: Similarly, I believe, that the ones who should be blamed for distorting the Image of Islam are the ignorant muslims and non-muslims. Why? Because: Ignorant Muslims: Adapt religion to themselves, they do not adapt to religion or understand it enough. They preech Islam without knowing the proper historical reasons and facts, which gives other people improper or insufficient information. :) Likewise, Ignorant Non-Muslims: Are people who are not willing to understand, or accept anything else but what is proposed to them in media (which are primarily lies). However, we can blame ignorant Non-Muslims on Ignorant Muslims as well. :j: This is just a brief reasoning of why I chose the third option of the poll. :sl:
  2. Acknowledging The Problem

Salam! Well this is a wonderful notion and gesture you have proposed. :sl: However, I think one of the biggest re-occuring problems I see, is the simple fact that Muslims in general do not have unity. :j: Once they begin to tackle everything as a nation, together, only then can we worry about 'others' invading, poverty, etc. :) Won't you agree? :sl: Assalamu alaikum
  3. Muslim Day Care

  5. Microsoft, Google And Now There Is...

Salam! Well below please find some duas pasted: :sl: Repentance dua Whenever a person commits any sin, he/she should immediately offer repentance to Allah, saying the following dua. Allahumma In-nee a-toobu ilayka minha la ar-ji-u ilayhaa abada. Translation: O Allah, I repent before You for all my sins and I promise never to return to the same (again). Upon awakening Alhamdulillah-hillathee ah-yana ba'da ma ama tana wa ilayhi nushoor. Translation: Many thanks to Allah who gave us life after having given us death and (our) final return (on the Day of Qiyaamah (Judgement)) is to Him. When undertaking a journey Subhanalla-thee sakh-khara-lana haatha wa-ma kun-na lahoo muqrineena wa inna ila Rabbina la-mun-qali-boon. Translation: Glory be to Him (Allah) who has brought this (vehicle) under our control though we were unable to control it. Sure, we are to return to our Lord. If you wish to know of some more duas, please click on this link: (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetIslam.tc/Dua/"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetIslam.tc/Dua/[/url] Can we know the efforts now...? lol :sl:
  6. What To Do

Salams! I would like to tell you that I think it is wonderful that you wish to convert to Islam. :sl: However, I do not think we should decide for you whether to choose the muslim faith or the one you possess strong feelings for. :) I sympathize with your unfortunate situation. You mentioned that you have a strong belief towards Islam. But the question is not which to choose. :D You cannot compare feelings for a person with faith/religion. :D The two are much to different to say you will choose one over the other. :D It seems to me that you are undergoing many problems emotionally. Gather yourself... Ask yourself why you choose the Islamic faith? Ask yourself why you like that girl, and is it worth liking her? Distant yourself from the one which shows you no future, or security, or trust, which you deserve. :) Then after you answer all the questions and are certain...dedicate yourself to it. :j: ..I hope I helped...If not, and to those who I might have offended, you have my apologies. :sl: :D
  7. Muslim Day Care

Salam, Well I think it is certainly an idea which one can implement. It is harmless, and helpful to many who seek some form of day care for their children who obviously in this day and age are not being properly mannered. :sl: However, I don't quite understand what you mean when you say the muslim way? :j: I think all children need a chance to have a proper form of guidance in their young years. Thus, need not to refer to the proper demeanor as the muslim way, unless ofcourse you plan on educating them with Islamic knowledge, and so forth! :sl:
  8. Salam, Hahahaha that is one of the most creative, cute, and very entertaining clips ever!!!!!!!! :sl:
  9. Allah(swt) And Feelings?

Salam sister, Ofcourse without offending anyone, I would like to say that you have thought of one of the many questions I myself ponder about. :sl: To my understanding, Allah (swt) is a higher entity than all of us. Thus, it would be most posible that Allah (swt) is not human because then that would eliminate differentiations between man/woman, and Allah (swt). :j: As for the issue on feelings....I don't know what to say, but my assumptions lead me to believe he in fact does have feelings. Certainly he is the creator of all these emotions... :) Sorry if that was no help, just shedding some light on the issue from my perspective. :sl:

  13. The Lowest Rank Of Those In Paradise

Salam Br.! Unfortunately, I was not aware of these Hadiths. :j: Thanks for posting this! :sl: :) However, I would like to pose a question if I may? :sl:
  14. Surah Ar-rahman

Salam Br.! You are very talented I must say. :sl: At such an age, with such an imagery, you have presented such a talent...such a curiosity...and such a train of thought, of questions and answers. :sl: It is not only inspiring but engaging my curiosity and broadening my Islamic ideology! :j:
  15. Is God Perfect?

Salam, The idea of "perfection" is not a logical error. For example, mathematical functions such as, 2+2=4. 4 will always be the result of 2+2 no matter what way you arrive at the answer. It is perfect. :) That is infact a perfect logic, which proves your claim of "perfection" being a logical error as an incorrect statement. Now, to answer your second claim of God being imperfect, based on your suggestion of the rock anaology. That statement is a paradox, which means it is a a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth. :j: To briefly sum up, I completely concur with what Br. Ryo_Akiski has abovementioned. Feel free to note another example to support your claim. :sl: P.S: I hope I have not offended anyone, just expressing my opinion without any hard feelings. :sl:
