salaam As much as I know, unless the nikaah is INTENTIONALLY agreed upon (i.e. verbally, mentally etc..) then the marriage need not go ahead. And personally, i think that this brother should try to get HIS point across, rather than 'going with the flow'. you get me? good luck to this brother, and inshallah, fate will decide good for him salam
  11. You Know You're Asian If...

:sl: 1. Your mother has a short-haired, curly perm 2. Your dad is some sort of engineer 3. Your parents still tried to get you into places half-price saying you were 12 when you were really 15 4. You ask your parents help on one math problem and 2 hours later they're still lecturing 5. You have a 40 lb. bag of rice in your pantry 6. You shop 99 ranch 7. Everyone thinks you're "Chinese" no matter what part of Asia your ancestors were from 8. You've had a bowl haircut at one point in your life 9. Your parents enjoy comparing you to their friends' kids 10. You drive mostly Japanese cars. 13. You've learned to keep bargaining even if the prices are rock bottom 14. You've had to eat parts of animals they don't even put in hot dogs 15. 14. Life Goes On ,never Ending Problems

brother, first of all, i would LOVE to say how brave you are in telling people your story. i am only 14, so i wouldnt know anything bout marriage. however, your courage may spring something in all of us insha Allah. anyways. your situation is what (surprisingly) many people face, may they be kufr or muslims. muslims have t accept the fact that Allah (SWT) placed them in this world to face hardships and easy times. hardships are natural, and even people as young as me have faced them. What i would do is spend time reading extra (nafl) salaah and praying to Allah (SWT) to forgive you and release your burden. Insha Allah, He will answer your call and reply by easing your burden. one could say that i know of your burden, because i am in a very well off family, whose parents have hardl enough time for their kids. but I as the son, asked my parents for a 10 minute session, reflecting my day and asking them to refelct theirs, and it has helped alot. my mother has a lot of time for me and i appreciate that. ---------------------------- I hope this has helped. as i said i know nothing of married life, but i try good luck and best wishes bruv :sl:
  15. A New Brother From Another Mother.
