tnx brothers for perticipating in discussion. But purpose of my topic was not that if wearing ring is allowed or wrong. I need to know if gemstones have any impact on human! ###### far I know Rasulullah (pbuh) used a ring made of silver. It had a stone called "Akik". someone told me to use a "sephier". I want to know if stone has some healing power or medicative power or enthing else? Some peole believe that stones like Diamond, Sephier, Topaz, etc has power on human's fate. I don't believe that. I just want to know if they have any healing impact on human. plz advise.

I know that he used it as a seal. But was that only reason? I will be very glad if some one could answer me as I am planning to use one.

The jew could understand that man told rasullah about his camel. before asking any questions the jew returned back the camel to its owner. It was before Rasullah got Nabuah. He was not powerful then. People just honered fim for his trustworthyness. The jew could refuse to return the camel. Actually He was convienced by the nuur/ personality of Rasullah (pbuh). That u can tell nuur. For details of "Noor" i refer you usrah "Noor". Nevertheless i will try to post a thread about "Noor"
  9. I would like to share some importent questions and fatwah about family planning and fatwah i have just read in a group. I am just sharing it as i found. Upto what level family planning is allowed and what's best way? Fatwa Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds; and blessings and peace of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and Companions. Family planning is permissible only to gain benefits and avoid harms as stated in Shari'a rules. For instance, when a woman becomes too ill or gets exhausted due to consecutive pregnancies or to early pregnancy that could harm the fetus itself etc. But if the purpose of family planning is to decrease the human race it is then prohibited. Because this practice contradicts the Will of Allah and the rules of Shari'a which urge Muslims to increase the progeny. This viewpoint is confirmed by the ( Majm'a al-Fiqh al-Islami) Islamic Fiqh Council and by the Permanent Committee of Islamic Research, Ifta, call and guidance. You may refer to a reliable experienced Doctor to know the best way for family planning. Allah knows best. Problem of a couple and fatwa I am a newly married man. This phase of my life started just three months ago. My wife and I have some differences in the matter of family planning. It started from the very first night. The first question she asked me was how many children I need? She informed me that she made plan not to be pregnant in first six months and she refused to have sexual relationship without any contraceptive. At that time I resisted for first five days and did not have physical relations. Later I started using a condom and we were happy then. Lately I started thinking that if this act is against the teaching of Islam then we will be the losers, because Allah is the One only who gives child if He wants I tried my best to convince my wife in good manner but she is persistent to her decision. Then I decided not to have physical relations until she changed her decision. I need to ask to the Sheikh following queries in this regard with proof from Qur'an and Sunnah.1. Is my decision not to have sexual relations with her the correct way to convince her? If answer is yes, then how long I should wait?2. Is the use of any contraceptive permissible not to have pregnancy in first six months? 3. Is it allowed to use contraceptive to save the family ties?4. If it is not permissible in Islam, and she is not willing to accept this, then how and what measures should I take? Fatwa Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. At first, we state that it is completely Haram for a woman to prevent her husband from having sex with her unless there will be a confirmed harm. But, a wife's decision to stop pregnancy for a certain period of time does not justify preventing her husband from having sex with her as he likes and as it is approved by Shari'a. If she abides by such a prevention, then she becomes a disobedient wife. Here, we say that Allah, The Great and Almighty, has stated the treatment of such recalcitrant (disobedient) wife according the following Qur'anic statement: {…As to those women on whose part you see ill conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). …} [4:34].So, the inquirer knows that to cease having sex with his wife is a form of punishment. But, such a form of punishment should be the second step after admonition and reminding her of her duties and should not exceed the proper limit, i.e. the period of four months.A husband's third step to deal with his disobedient wife is to beat her, but in a harmless and mild way that breaks no bone nor cuts the body.As for birth control, i.e. to delay your wife's pregnancy for some time, we say there is no objection as long as (1) there is an agreement between you and your wife, and (2) it is done according to the rules stated in the first decision, the 5th session, of al-Fiqh Assembly, held in Kuwait about birth control. The above-mentioned decision states the following two points: 1 - It is Haram both for men and women to eradicate (excise by surgery) the ability of procreation, i.e. to make one sterile unless there is dire need that also should be evaluated and controlled by Shari'a standards.2 - It is Halal to have temporary birth control solely to give longer periods between pregnancies or to prevent it for a specified period of time, if there is need that is approved by Shari'a. This state can be judged by mutual consultation between a husband and his wife, depending on legal means and avoiding any harm to existing pregnancy. Therefore, if you agree to your wife's request, provided that it should be for a specified period nor cause bodily harm or violation of some ruling of Shari'a due to use contraceptive for birth control, then there is no blame on you to do so, just to keep your good marital relation and to satisfy her lawful desire.Allah knows best. Question What is the stand of Islam on birth control? Fatwa Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. If the family planning was done for any legal reason, like the mother is ill or is facing exhaustion due to continuous birth etc., and doctors have puled that continuous birth may be dangerous for her life or cause harm to her body, then she could use temporary birth control methods to delay pregnancy. But it is prohibited to take any measure, which would permanently stop pregnancy or cause sterility. Jabir (MAY Allah BE PLEASED WITH HIM) narrated:†We used to practice coitus interruption during the lifetime of Allah’s Apostle while the Quran was being revealed". Allah knows best. Question What is Islam's point of view on cloning human beings? Temporary abortion as family planning? Fatwa Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and Blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family,Companions and the followers.A great clamor took place lately when the biologists said they were able to duplicate a sheep from another one and the way is now open for duplicating human beings on demand. What actually happened was that the biologists took a fecundated ovule, took out its nucleus and injected it instead with a living cell from another sheep. They, then thought that the living cell had started its normal multiplication and a foetus resulted from that. Then the sheep grew up from this cell. Here are the steps followed by these biologists: - To get an ovule from a sheep and take out its nucleus. - To get a normal cell from another sheep & take out its nucleus. - To put the nucleus of the normal cell in the ovule. - To put the ovule in the uterus of the mother, so it developed normally and a new sheep was born. This operation was made possible after making more than 300 operations to assimilate the nucleus acid taken from the dug cells with fertilized ovules. All of them failed and nobody knows what were their true results. Dr: Abdul Khaliq Muhammad says: “Cloning adult human beings cells by using the technique above is still impossible and all the attempts that were done so far had failed and it is still in its first stage. The few attempts that have succeeded resulted in very deformed beings. There is another way of cloning other than the one above i.e. the twins’ technique. In this technique the cell divides itself into two cells, then four … and so on and so forth. The scientists succeeded in isolating a cell from its mother cell. But the operation failed in its early stages. In both cases, this vain and futile game with foetuses has nothing to do with creation of human beings or animals. As the latters are very different from plants which could be reproduced using a plant of their buds. Fertilized ovules are the only ones where the cells reproduce themselves and each group of them takes its role and way. All this is made by Allah. Allah Says (Interpretation of meaning): {He it is who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases} . [2:6] And Allah Says (Interpretation of meaning): {And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay. Therefore We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). Then We made the Nutfah into a clot. Then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then we brought it forth as another creation. So blessed is Allah the Best of Creators} . [23:12] This strong desire to create a person or an animal through a way other than the one Allah has prescribed for him is a very old and perversive attempt. It is a consequence of a belief that existed among the old Roman disbelieves and which can be summarized as follows: It is a struggle between Man and God whereby God who owns knowledge enslavered Man. But the latter has stolen the light of knowledge from God. As a result, he became just like God aware of Bad and Good. But these scientists would not create any new creatures. That’s impossible because it is not from their specialities. It is even impossible to dispense the man with the woman or vice versa. They will not be able to create any new kinds of living beings animals or plants. Some researchers tried in vain to create a plant from a mixture of the genes of tomatoes and potatoes. The result was a poisonous fruit. This is just vainness and futility. Allah Says (Interpretation of meaning): {Do you then see the (Human seed) that you emit? Is it you who create it or are We the creators? }. [52:58] {See you the seed that you sow in the ground. Is it you that cause it to grow or are We the Cause?}. [52:63] These researchers who busy themselves with such vain and futile research will sooner or later know that it is just impossible. It is even a great crime. Allah knows best. wish to know all acceptable family planning methods. Fatwa Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. The Islamic jurisprudence encourages having many children, and it considers this as a blessing and bounty from Allah.Allah has favoured His servants by Saying: {….and has made for you, from your wives, sons and grandsons,….}[16:72].The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: “Get married with women who are tender and loving, and who can bear children, because I am happy when my Ummah (nation) is greater in number than any other Ummahâ€. [Reported by Abu Dawud, Ahmad, and Nasa’e]If the family is in need of family planning and weaning, there is no harm in using the lawful means like A’azl (taking out one’s penis before ejaculating), or using non-harmful contraceptives as well as setting a period between one baby and the following one.Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {….the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty (30) months,…..}[46:15]. So here the period between one child and another is 30 months. This is an advised period of a time period between one child and another, not an obligation. However, placing a loop in a woman’s uterus is Haram, except for a necessity, because when a woman avails of this, someone would see inside her private parts, and this is Haram without a necessity or urgent need.Allah knows best. Applying a specific period of time for family planning Questions Is there a period in which a person has to wait in order to have another child? According to the Sunnah can a woman have a child every year or does she have to wait and give the child that she currently has the 2 years for nursing? Is it the right of the wife to have another baby even if the husband does not want one right away or should she wait? Fatwa All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. There is no specific period of time for family planning. This should be determined according to the religious benefit. If continuous pregnancies at short intervals cause additional hardship to the woman in addition to her usual hardship for her and for her children, then both spouses should use a permissible contraceptive method in order to delay the pregnancy; for more benefit,. However, there is no religious obstacle which prevents the woman from having children every year, and the Prophet urged his nation to multiply their progeny. Besides, she is not obliged to delay the pregnancy for two years; for more benefit, please refer to the above- referred Fatwa. As regards whether or not the wife has the right to give birth to another child even though the husband does not like it, then the answer is that having children is one of the important objectives in marriage. The view we adopt here in Islamweb is that none of the spouses has the right to prevent the other from having children if he/she wants it. It is true that the husband is not obliged to have sexual intercourse with his wife every day or every week, but he has no right to refrain from having sexual intercourse with his wife for more than four months, and if he has sexual intercourse, he should not practice coitus interruption (withdrawing before ejaculation) except with her permission. Allaah Knows best.
  10. Thank You

Latifa , may i ask you your origin?
  11. It's Still On

I see no problem with that. Listening Quran at night, specially when it is deep and calm is great to me. Nothing but only sweet tune of Quran enters into the soul. It may take some one into deep of obsession in one stage and finnaly asleep. It is hard to get up to turn off the player.

  15. I am just stunned and surprised with the news. " Coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5 days)" During this time the US countries will be dark for 1.5 days. It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 years. I don't know much about this super cosmic event right now. I have just got it while going through a site. Searching for deeper details. I see many stuffs in net but yet to read and justify if it would really take place! If it really happens I want to see it in different way other then plain cosmological event. I can recall a hadith reagdring such indication but I can not qoute it exactly and source. " Before Queamah one day the sun will set down in the evening as it does regularly. But the sun won't rise back in its regular time. people will become restless wondering what happens! That night will be as long as 3 regular nights. When the sun rises people will see that The sun rises from the East. They will be afraid and will see that nothing remains in the Holy quran except plain white paper. From that day "Towbah" won't be granted." I am not afraid if it is that day. But I am eager to know what religious significance this day/ night has. I will post if i get any reliable data supporting this super event. All are invited to take part in this post. Another significance of this day is " October 17 is the 290th day of the year (291st in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 75 days remaining until the end of the year."
