  1. Impure Thoughts

Assalam alaikum, Kindly permit me to contribute and/or comment on the above topic started by God's Servant, and say that one of the respected Sheikhs of this Ummah observed that all thoughts are of "Four kinds of thoughts : from God, from an Angel, from Self and from the Devil. The thought which is from God is an admonition; that from an angel an urge to Obedience; that from the self the quest of Lust; from the devil the bedizenment of Disobedience". I believe one can read this between the lines and accordingly know how to place and/or evaluate the so called random impure...lustful thoughts about the opposite sex. Many Regards. If one wants some further reading on this, he or she may refer to the book, "The Doctrine of The Sufis", by Abubakar al-Kalabadhi.
  2. Assalam alaikum, When he returned from Hudaibiyyah in late 6th year A.H, Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless and grant him peace, decided to send Letters to Monarchs within and outside Arabia, inviting them to Islam. Some believed, while others did not but the idea of embracing Islam and advent of a new Prophet preoccupied them all. Find hereby attached some of these letters for your perusal....study them and see/appreciate how History was shaped at the time these Letters were issued. Best Wishes.Letters Of Prophet Muhammad, alaihi salat wassalam.zip
  3. On The Successful One.

Assalam alaikum, The Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallama, was reported to have said:--"He is successful who has accepted Islam, who has been provided with sufficient for his wants and been made contented by Allah with what He has given him". (Muslim) These days when people say so and so is very successful, what they mean is he is making a lot of money. By this Noble Hadith, we understand who qualifies to be called successful. It is not having car x, house in y and a job z but:-- Islam, Fulfilled needs and Possession of a thankful heart. Note this well. Many Regards.

  5. Consider This Hadith.

Assalam alaikum, The Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, was reported to have said:--- " Try to pass your mornings and evenings in a state where your heart is free from all ill-feelings, jealousy and hatred for anyone, and remember that this is my Sunnah, and he who loves my Sunnah will be with me in Paradise". (Tirmidhi) We should note this accordingly and avoid I'll-feelings, hatred and jealousy amongst ourselves. Regards.

  7. Essentials Of Tauheed.

Assalam alaikum, Tauheed, the belief and affirmation of the ONENESS of God Almighty is one of the 5 pillars upon which Islam is built, the other 4 being Five daily Prayers, Zakkat, Fasting during the month of Ramadan and the Hajj. To make our Tauheed Sound/Meaningful, we must MIND and/or OBSERVE the following Essentials:-- 1. To always speak the Truth. 2. To keep all obligations in accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah. 3. To keep the Heart Free From Hatred. 4. To avoid Forbidden Food. 5. To Shun Innovation in Religion, and 6. To be Satisfied with Allah Most High in scarcity and plenty, and Turn to Him in Happiness or Affliction, Zul-Jalali Wal-Ikraam. ALLAHU AKBAR! ALLAHU AKBAR!! WA LILLAHIL HAMD.
  8. Introduction

Assalam alaikum, Kindly permit me to intrduce myself as a fresh member to this Forum, your brother from some corner in Africa. I hope to be able to share knowledge, learn and sharpen my ability to be a servant trying to get his bearing right in the Journey ahead of us all....to the ultimate Life Tomorrow. Do accept My Best Wishes.
  9. Brothers and Sisters, Assalam alaikum, As you are aware, we have a long way to go before reaching our destination which we hope to be Jannatul-Firdaus. In that regard, we must take the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing be upon him, as our expressway to the ultimate. Beware of the highway robbers, by insuring your vehicle with Dhikr security systems. All vehicles secured with Dhikr security system will be protected from assaults by robbers(satan). Ensure that you have enough fuel. The highest grade fuel for this long and tiring journey is the taqwa grade fuel. We must make sure we demand this brand when stopping for refueling. Lighten the load on your vehicle, carry only the most important items for this trip:--2 meters of white cloth, good deeds and prayers of your kids is all you need. Excess weight is allowed only if it is more of good deeds. Periodically, we need to be checking our vehicles safety features by reading their manual--the Holy Quran. The steering wheel must be calibrated by the Sunnah calibration method, batteries must be charged with Imaan, the engine needs to be turned up with Ikhlas and the tires must be properly inflated with Ihsaan. Most importantly, you must test the entire vehicle with the Tauheed check list. There are many milestones on this journey, indicating to us that we are on the right track... loving Him more than anything else, loving the prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, and his companions who supported him when he was oppressed, following all his teachings, responding with patience and accepting lack of worldly goods, hunger, loss of family members are some of the milestones and glad tidings that we are on the right track. Indeed, this road will be paved with pain, hardwork, stuggle with the self, Iblis the robber and others. Never lay your guard, this trip is not over until it is over. We must keep Zikr as our guard, good deeds our lugguage and not lose focus on where we are going...we should endure the pain of this trip. When we finally arrive at our destination, Jannah-al-Firdaus, bi Rahmatullah, we will forget all the pain.

  11. The Dowry

O deep Lover, the meaning of our beauty is that our dowry is highly expensive for whoever intends to propose to us.. A body that is weakened and tired in worship and a soul in constant striving to attain the Hereafter Eyelids that do not taste slumber due to Allah's Remembrance A heart that has no other than Us therein. If you desire, then pay the price Annihilate your desire, if you wish, eternally it is only annihilation that will bring you to that courtyard Romove your sandals in humbleness, when arriving at that vicinity, for therein exists our Master. After Sayyid Jalaluddin Rumi.

I am glad to be here, and I hope to learn, share and exchange knowledge and/or ideas in due course....especially now when the world is said to be compressed into a ''small village''.
