  1. What Are Women Promised To Recieve In Heaven

Yes, a person who calls another person a liar for completely unfounded, stupid reasons is just fine, but a person who answers back at points out the other person's stupidity (after being accused of being a liar) is automatically the bad guy. It's exactly what I thought and what Lost in Paradise even admitted. No matter what, the Muslim is always right. She was spot on. I give her credit for "trying" to be fair, but I don't think she liked that video that I referenced because it was simply too telling. These weren't a few extremist in that Lars Vilks attack video, they were common Muslim college students and a very nice university. So what does that do to the common, worn out excuse that these are only a few extremists?? That artist was brilliant because he saw the wolf behind the sheep's clothing and all he had to do was to show the right thing to make the wolf take it's sheep costume off. Artists are smart like that. They see through people. And these were Muslims that didn't even feel they were greatly empowered yet or the majority. Imagine what's going to happen when they DO. Well, we don't have to imagine because we have plenty of Muslim majority countries to tell us what will happen. Europeans are fools that have steeped themselves in over intellectualism and have duped themselves. Yes, there actually IS a thing called overly intellectualizing, and Muslims lick their chops over this and laugh about it (quietly)
  2. What Are Women Promised To Recieve In Heaven

Nice fake laugh. How does any of that make you less stupid?? Why would you be so stupid to think it would?? Who's the naive little kid and who is not??
  3. Americans Hate Islam

Did I say people should like it? Why do you make so many assumptions, blip? Did I say people shouldn't like it? You do know that you make a lot of assumptions, baseless ones at that? OK, so people shouldn't have an opinion about it at all?? What kind of a weird, contradictory tap dance is this??
  4. The Fall Of Atheism***

Don't worry, I'll show myself the door. Yes, the religion of tolerance, just like we see in the attack on Lars Vilks
  5. The Fall Of Atheism***

I'm here to figure out what people could possibly tell themselves to believe in this clear nonsense.
  6. What Are Women Promised To Recieve In Heaven

Lawfully earned it??? He robbed defenseless caravans and sacked lands and took their wealth. You make it sound like he had a job or something.
  7. What Are Women Promised To Recieve In Heaven

Sure. No, because if you go back and read it, you'll see that I actually didn't say that. So far, i can only admit that you don't even read what is typed to you correctly. What else am I supposed to say?? Go back and read it. It's all in writing, right?? Thank God. Already answered and it took a very long time for you to acknowledge that there were some Muslims who joined after they saw the booty reaped. Their first major battle involved a raid of a defenseless caravan designed to gain booty. Go read about Badr for yourself. Who tells you all of this nonsense?? Ask for your money back.

QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * I think it is interesting to note at this point, that it is YOU who are hurling the personal insults. All that I do is to ask challenging questions, make challenging claims and quote factually. I am sorry but that was not an insult. When you claim that Muhammad (pbuh) burned one fifth of the war booty as a sacrifice to Allah because that is found in the Jewish tradition, then you are going to get called out on your analytical skills (or lack thereof). I said that if it is supposed to go to Allah then it should be burned, or, it should have said that it goes to the poor, or it goes to Muhammad The problem is not that you ask questions. The problem is when you start making ridiculous claims/lie that Muhamamd (pbuh) burned 20% of the war booty when, in fact, I never made that claim. Go back and read it again. I said that if it was supposed to go to Allah, then according to past traditions, this means it should be burned. Honestly, what does it take?? he said that war booty was allowed for him and his followers unlike the previous nations. The Quran says it goes to Allah Don't get mad when you get exposed for lying. I don't mind questions. If I did, I would simply not answer you. What lie?? You don't read what I say properly and it's all in writing. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * OK, so what does 20% to Allah mean?? You said it doesn't necessarily mean the poor because that's what the zakat is for. You said it also doesn't necessarily mean Muhammad. Or, do you mean that when it says 20% goes to Allah it actually DOES mean Muhammad but Muhammad decided to keep very little of it?? If so, why didn't it simply say that 20% goes to the prophet?? This is what I wrote in a previous post (the one above yours): "I take this back. This incorrect. The Prophet (pbuh) was obliged to spend it on the poor, though not exclusively, as he was allowed to spend it on himself and his family (who weren't allowed to receive charity), too. Why would you act so sure of everything you say and then have to take things back?? Are you just pulling anything out of your pocket that you feel like?? And know that whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger and for the kinsman (who hath need) and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if ye believe in Allah and that which We revealed unto Our slave on the Day of Discrimination, the day when the two armies met. And Allah is Able to do all things. (8:41) So Allah, the messenger, the kinsmen and the orphans are all listed as different things. So what happens to the portion that goes to Allah?? By the way, blip, please don't come back again and ask why it says "for Allah", okay. As I said, it is spent in the way of Allah. The expression in the way of Allah covers everything from giving to the poor to funding a military expedition Where does it say military expedition?? and basically anything that is done in the way of God. It is a frequently used expression in the Qur'an and in common speech among Muslims. Please don't start talking about the war booty being burned because Jewish sources/tradition or whatever tradition mentions that the booty is burned. That would only get you laughed at in (non-Muslim) historian circles." It's correct that sacrifices of the Hebrews that went to God were burnt offerings. That's a fact. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * Didn't you earlier say that it was not stipulated for the poor and that was what the zakat was for?? Anyway, military expedition?? Expedition sounds offensive rather than defensive, doesn't it? QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * What is your measuring methodology?? You say that some quotes from Tabari could be false and you say that some hadiths could be false. So why assume the quote I gave from Tabari is false and the hadiths referenced by Kathir are true?? Tabari didn't grade the hadiths. He collected everything from totally authentic ones to weak ones to fabricated ones. That's the same thing that Bukhari did as well. Ibn Kathir on the other hand graded hadiths/used graded hadiths. I didn't say that the hadith from Tabari was necessarily false. I said that is in conflict with the authentic teachings of the Prophet (pbuh). The Prophet (pbuh) said that an Arab is not superior to a non-Arab. Your quote didn't even mention who said those things. It was initially offered to Lost in Paradise to show an attitude of Arab superiority when she would claim that attitude does not exist. You jumped in not even understanding what you were jumping into. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * I think most people would find a lot of them to be horrible, which is why there is the advent of "Quran only" Muslims. But I applaud you if you accept the horrible ones as well, such as the one where Muhammad's soldiers were raping the captive women and asked him whether they should pull out at the last second so as to prevent pregnancy and Muhammad telling them not to bother. At least that's fair and honest on your part The Prophet (pbuh) didn't allow raping. The soldiers didn't rape the women. They became their concubines. Their willing or unwilling concubines?? And what would you use to answer that?? And, I didn't know that concubines (prostitution) was allowed in Islam In the ancient world, that's how things worked. The Prophet (pbuh) commanded to treat slaves well and intercourse with them is allowed if they consent. Where did it say "if they consent"?? Your next reply probably would be "well, obviously they didn't consent because they got conquered, therefore, they got raped". Of course. Do you think they wanted to sleep with them after they just killed their husband?? That is your assumption. I think that's common sense for anybody You'll probably start speaking about common sense, so please just save it. Nope. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * And they simply ignore the bad ones. Or maybe they (non-Muslim historians) just understand them in their right context unlike you? The soldiers were trying to be at least kind enough to not get them pregnant and Muhammad told them not to bother. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * No, you have the reading comprehension issues. The booty was given to the Quraish to entice them to join the prophet. The Ansar were already rich because they were already with the prophet. It was an intelligent move to gain more followers and hence soldiers, that's all. No, you misread me. Does it sound stupid now after I had to explain my point twice?? You are the one with the comprehension issues "Yes, listen you fools, we need the ansaar in our ranks. I have a bigger vision for success. So let them have some booty so that they will join us." Of course he's not going to just actually say that. These statements of yours imply that the Ansar weren't already in their ranks so let them have some booty so that they would join them. No, not the Ansar, the Quirashy. Go back and read it. Honestly, what is the problem with you reading what is typed to you?? The above would have made sense had you just replaced "ansaar" with "Quraish". I'll admit that I am wrong if somebody other than you says that the above quote of yours doesn't imply that the Ansar weren't in their ranks so let them have some booty so they will join them. why do you need someone else, just read it again. QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * What was the verse where they were chided for wanting to join jihad later when they didn't want to at first?? I can't find it, but I remember it. While I haven't memorized the Quran, I read it very thoroughly and remember very much of it. What made them want to join jihad later?? What change thier mind? There are a few. The desert Arabs are admonished for their disbelief and hypocrisy. In the one I remember, they were Muslims who wouldn't do the first wave of jihad, but then wanted to join later. The Qur'an says that they thought that the Prophet (pbuh) and the believers wouldn't return alive and that they would be totally destroyed by the enemy, so they didn't join them. What made them want to join later on? War booty, I am not denying that. Well what took so long?? What was all of the unnecessary tap dancing for?? That's what I said originally. When they saw how well they made out and the booty they gained, then suddenly wanted to join. The Qur'an says that. However, you can't say that the people of Medina adopted and kept the Prophet (pbuh) as their leader due to war booty because they were on the verge of destruction many times. What i said is that it is clear from the Quran that many joined later because of war booty. There was no war booty in sight for years. Instead they were under threat of getting destroyd for years What??? The battle of Badr after a raid attempt on a defenseless caravan was the first major battle. Who tells you this nonsense?? Research it for yourself The Qur'an says that those who fought before the Conquest (of Mecca) are better than the rest who joined later when Muslims had become powerful. The Muslims were already powerful before they conquered Mecca. That’s why the Meccans surrendered without a fight. Every successful battle yields booty and the Muslims won many battles before Mecca The Muslims in Medina were under the threat of getting wiped out for years, No they were not. Fighting hostilities between the two started with the caravan raids. It was Muslims who were either kicked out of Mecca or escaped to Medina for being Muslim that were the initial aggressors against Meccan caravans. In Arab desert band culture, one way for a leader to prove his worth was to lead successful raids and that’s exactly what Muhammad did. so you sound very stupid when you say things like some hypocrites (of Madina) didn't want to defend the Prophet but instead wanted to turn him out because they thought he couldn't win battles and hence booty. I said that many of them joined AFTER they saw he was winning booty. Everything I have said is exactly correct QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * That's fine. The problem is the "going" and "returning" parts and it isn't just about prostration. The first question asked is not how the sun prostrates, it's where the sun goes. So if that was the question asked, the answer relates to the question and tells us where the sun GOES. I didn't know that underneath the throne meant shining over the South Pacific. How could the sun be underneath anything unless the earth was thought to be flat?? I can't understand how you can merely ignore this. And then, there's even a prophecy that could never end up being true. Any movement of the sun has nothing to do with where it rises and sets. If we could just see one verse that even remotely suggests a spin of the earth, that would be impressive. But, as per the belief of the 7th century that the Quran matches perfectly, we see nothing at all like this. It's amazing that we "supposedly" discover all of the "supposed" scientific miracles of the Quran AFTER science tells us something, but it never could mention the spin of the earth. Yes, I think the first question is where does the Sun go. First smart thing you said. Ridiculous, and yet another unfounded insult The Hadith never says that the Sun goest underneath the Earth, does it? Did it have to?? Are you kidding?? It asks where the sun goes WHEN IT SETS In another hadith where the same companion, Abu Dharr, who told the Hadith about the Sun rising in the West, asks the Prophet (pbuh) where is the fixed course of the Sun. The Prophet (pbuh) replied that its course is underneath Allah's Throne. I'll quote it here: I asked the Prophet about the Statement of Allah:-- 'And the sun runs on fixed course for a term (decreed), ' (36.38) He said, "Its course is underneath "Allah's Throne." He didn't say its course is around the Earth. The hadith i referenced says it sets, then stops to prostrate and ask for permission to continue on its course, which causes it to rise again. That’s an orbit around the flat earth. And, if it has to ask for permission to continue on its course, this means it has stopped its course when it prostrates, and the sun never stops in reality, so that’s even another problem. I am shocked that you would actually attempt this. This is beyonf reason. The companion asked him for clarification. This would have been the perfect opportunity to say that the Sun's course is around the Earth but he didn't say that. The Throne of Allah is one of the Unseen things. So, when the sun sets on Mecca, and it is shining on the South Pacific or Maybe California, do the people of the South Pacific see the sun when it stops to prostrate and ask for permission to continue it’s course?? For example, God says that Angels (pbut) form people in the womb. We do not know how the Unseen world affects our world. The Throne is over the whole universe and the Sun is always under it. The sun is always seen by somebody on earth, or at least CAN be seen by someone on earth. This “unseen†stuff is merely because Mecca couldn’t see the sun at night and it proves that there was no knowledge of a round earth and people living on the other side of it. By the way, a lot of the scientific miracles where already noted before modern science could verify them to be true. (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetgawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?s=&sh...t&p=1229733"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetgawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?s=&sh...t&p=1229733[/url] I’ll read that when I get a chance and comment on it. So it is wrong to say that is only after science tells us something. For example, the scientists in the past used to say that the male sperm had nothing to do with the creation of a baby, but an Islamic scholar countered this because the Qur'an speaks of the mingled drop, i.e. the drop of the man and the woman, from which a baby is created. I don’t know what scientist would ever say that the fluid from a man has nothing to do with pregnancy. Even a caveman could put together two and two and see the parallel of them shooting that stuff in and then shortly afterwards, her stomach grows. But where is the mention of the egg?? That’s 50% of it, isn’t it?? QUOTE(blip [at] May 18 2011, 03:00 PM) * What is that approach? What comes from totally authentic sources, I don't deny. What comes from unverified sources like at-Tabari is questioned. Bukhari published everything he gathered as well, just like Tabari. Plus I don't come up with ridiculous theories (or lies) like Muhammad (pbuh) burned one fifth of the booty I didn’t say he did. I said that if it was for Allah, then according to pre Islamic Hebrew traditions, it should have been burned. Go back and read it. I thought you weren’t allowed to drink alcohol?? because it says that the spoils of war belong to Allah, using the Jewish tradition of burning war booty as evidence. That is a dumb connection you made there. You didn’t even understand what I said, so who’s dumb?? I know how to view verses in their historical context. Well, you don’t know how to read what someone says to you on a forum. That much I can see. I told you that the hypocrites of Medina suggested not defending the Prophet (pbuh) and that they should turn him out to their enemies. You replied that this is because they thought he couldn't win battles and hence booty. Obviously in light of actual history this is just plain dumb, No it’s not and it was already discussed above in this post. considering the fact that people don't care about booty when they are facing a confederate army that has got them surrounded and is about to take them out. The battle of Badr was the first major battle and it did not take place in Medina, it took place out in the desert because Muhammad and his men were waiting out in the desert to ambush and rob a defenseless caravan. The Qureshi got tipped off and diverted the caravan and then sent their army out after the bandits. The Muslims ran to a strategically advantageous location and the Qureshi army walked right into it and got routed. Honestly, what is it you are reading?? "I didn't say I know, I said I think. Who has the reading comprehension issues??" In other words, you are just conjecturing. No more than you. It even seems like less.
  9. What Are Women Promised To Recieve In Heaven

You contradict yourself often and then tell me how i can't read properly. Shees, this is unbelievable.
  10. The Fall Of Atheism***

Do you think that I think that you can consider anything after reading your signature?? It's as I said. You are already decided but you want others to search. Why don't you just say that you want others to see that Islam is the truth and that's what you are really talking about when you say "search for the truth"?? You should say, search for the truth that is Islam.
  11. Americans Hate Islam

OK, so that means you agree and think people shouldn't like it, even though you like it. What is complex about that agreement of humiliation?? Perhaps what might be uncertain or complex is the end where it says that if they do not keep this, then Muslims are allowed to do with them what they do with the rebellious, which I think means, kill them. I(f we look at 9:5 and it's subsequent tafsir, it would appear that the pagans didn't have the option of humiliating dhiimiship, which is why a , rather sarcastically, said that Muhammad was nice to the Christians. As far as straw man goes, there's nothing straw man about it. You are misusing and parroting a term that you don't even understand. And let's not foirget, you are the one throwing all of the personal insults, not me.
  12. Allah said, [ÞóÜÊöáõæÇú ÇáøóÃöíäó áÇó íõÄúãöäõæäó ÈöÇááøóåö æóáÇó ÈöÇáúíóæúãö ÇáÇøñÎöÑö æóáÇó íõÃóÑøöãõæäó ãóÇ ÃóÑøóãó Çááøóåõ æóÑóÓõæáõåõ æóáÇó íóÃöíäõæäó Ãöíäó ÇáúÃóÞøö ãöäó ÇáøóÃöíäó ÃõæÊõæÇú ÇáúßöÊóÜÈó ÃóÊøóì íõÚúØõæÇú ÇáúÌöÒúíóÉó Úóä íóÃò æóåõãú ÕóÜÛöÑõæäó ] (Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.) Therefore, when People of the Scriptures disbelieved in Muhammad , they had no beneficial faith in any Messenger or what the Messengers brought. Rather, they followed their religions because this conformed with their ideas, lusts and the ways of their forefathers, not because they are Allah's Law and religion. Had they been true believers in their religions, that faith would have directed them to believe in Muhammad , because all Prophets gave the good news of Muhammad's advent and commanded them to obey and follow him. Yet when he was sent, they disbelieved in him, even though he is the mightiest of all Messengers. Therefore, they do not follow the religion of earlier Prophets because these religions came from Allah, but because these suit their desires and lusts. Therefore, their claimed faith in an earlier Prophet will not benefit them because they disbelieved in the master, the mightiest, the last and most perfect of all Prophets . Hence Allah's statement, [ÞóÜÊöáõæÇú ÇáøóÃöíäó áÇó íõÄúãöäõæäó ÈöÇááøóåö æóáÇó ÈöÇáúíóæúãö ÇáÇøñÎöÑö æóáÇó íõÃóÑøöãõæäó ãóÇ ÃóÑøóãó Çááøóåõ æóÑóÓõæáõåõ æóáÇó íóÃöíäõæäó Ãöíäó ÇáúÃóÞøö ãöäó ÇáøóÃöíäó ÃõæÊõæÇú ÇáúßöÊóÜÈó] (Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture,) This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered Allah's religion in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was secured under the Muslims' control. Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination. The Messenger sent his intent to various Arab areas around Al-Madinah to gather forces, and he collected an army of thirty thousand. Some people from Al-Madinah and some hypocrites, in and around it, lagged behind, for that year was a year of drought and intense heat. The Messenger of Allah marched, heading towards Ash-Sham to fight the Romans until he reached Tabuk, where he set camp for about twenty days next to its water resources. He then prayed to Allah for a decision and went back to Al-Madinah because it was a hard year and the people were weak, as we will mention, Allah willing. Paying Jizyah is a Sign of Kufr and Disgrace Allah said, [ÃóÊøóì íõÚúØõæÇú ÇáúÌöÒúíóÉó] (until they pay the Jizyah), if they do not choose to embrace Islam, [Úóä íóÃò] (with willing submission), in defeat and subservience, [æóåõãú ÕóÜÛöÑõæäó] (and feel themselves subdued.), disgraced, humiliated and belittled. Therefore, Muslims are not allowed to honor the people of Dhimmah or elevate them above Muslims, for they are miserable, disgraced and humiliated. Muslim recorded from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet said, «áóÇ ÊóÈúÃóÃõæÇ ÇáúíóåõæÃó æóÇáäøóÕóÇÑóì ÈöÇáÓøóáóÇãö¡ æóÅöÃóÇ áóÞöíÊõãú ÃóÃóÃóåõãú Ãöí ØóÑöíÞò ÃóÇÖúØóÑøõæåõ Åöáóì ÃóÖúíóÞöå» (Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians, and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley.) This is why the Leader of the faithful `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, demanded his well-known conditions be met by the Christians, these conditions that ensured their continued humiliation, degradation and disgrace. The scholars of Hadith narrated from `Abdur-Rahman bin Ghanm Al-Ash`ari that he said, "I recorded for `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, the terms of the treaty of peace he conducted with the Christians of Ash-Sham: `In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This is a document to the servant of Allah `Umar, the Leader of the faithful, from the Christians of such and such city. When you (Muslims) came to us we requested safety for ourselves, children, property and followers of our religion. We made a condition on ourselves that we will neither erect in our areas a monastery, church, or a sanctuary for a monk, nor restore any place of worship that needs restoration nor use any of them for the purpose of enmity against Muslims. We will not prevent any Muslim from resting in our churches whether they come by day or night, and we will open the doors [of our houses of worship] for the wayfarer and passerby. Those Muslims who come as guests, will enjoy boarding and food for three days. We will not allow a spy against Muslims into our churches and homes or hide deceit [or betrayal] against Muslims. We will not teach our children the Qur'an, publicize practices of Shirk, invite anyone to Shirk or prevent any of our fellows from embracing Islam, if they choose to do so. We will respect Muslims, move from the places we sit in if they choose to sit in them. We will not imitate their clothing, caps, turbans, sandals, hairstyles, speech, nicknames and title names, or ride on saddles, hang swords on the shoulders, collect weapons of any kind or carry these weapons. We will not encrypt our stamps in Arabic, or sell liquor. We will have the front of our hair cut, wear our customary clothes wherever we are, wear belts around our waist, refrain from erecting crosses on the outside of our churches and demonstrating them and our books in public in Muslim fairways and markets. We will not sound the bells in our churches, except discretely, or raise our voices while reciting our holy books inside our churches in the presence of Muslims, nor raise our voices [with prayer] at our funerals, or light torches in funeral processions in the fairways of Muslims, or their markets. We will not bury our dead next to Muslim dead, or buy servants who were captured by Muslims. We will be guides for Muslims and refrain from breaching their privacy in their homes.' When I gave this document to `Umar, he added to it, `We will not beat any Muslim. These are the conditions that we set against ourselves and followers of our religion in return for safety and protection. If we break any of these promises that we set for your benefit against ourselves, then our Dhimmah (promise of protection) is broken and you are allowed to do with us what you are allowed of people of defiance and rebellion.'''
  13. The Fall Of Atheism***

If you suggest that Atheism can be proven false, then this is the equivalent of proving God true. That is smart. No, it is impossible to offer proof of either side. You don't. You already have the answers, right?? The Quran is the answer and that's the end of story. It's funny how Muslims ask for "open mindedness" when they are the most closed minded people there are. The same exact thing could be said to you as well.
