1. In Nigeria, Boko Haram Is Not The Problem

Yes, it is more complex than it seems as both you and Wesley have pointed out. Your post seems to generate sympathy or a scapegoat rather than....
2. In Nigeria, Boko Haram Is Not The Problem

I noticed it was in the opinion section as well, but didn't bother mentioning it since Younes should have done so. Instead, he just copied and pasted as if it were fact. The truth is that Boko Haram is an extremist group and they have carried out some attacks. Presenting them as a scapegoat when they have stated that they want to attack the West, the US in particular etc. is an injustice.
3. Who Is The Spirit Of Truth?

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. (WEB RSV NIV) John 15:26 "When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me. (WEB RSV NIV) allos: other, another Original Word: ἄλλος, η, ον Part of Speech: Adjective Transliteration: allos Phonetic Spelling: (al'-los) Short Definition: other, another, different Definition: other, another (of more than two), different. állos (a primitive word) – another of the same kind; another of a similar type. Strong's Concordance word #243 (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_concordances(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/greek/243.htm"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_concordances(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/greek/243.htm Allos does not mean masculine man as you claim. It means another, other which can be of the same type or different. I haven't found 'hetenos' in Strong's concordance or online dictionaries or lexicons. See here: (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yeteliyah(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/cgi-bin/strongs.cgi?file=greeklexicon&isindex=hetenos"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yeteliyah(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/cgi-bin/strongs.cgi?...isindex=hetenos Only Muslims claim it exists and there is no third party verfication. Prove what the word means please or this will be another case of Muslim apologists making up words or changing meanings of words in the Bible aka fiction. #2087. heteros het'-er-os of uncertain affinity; (an-, the) other or different:--altered, else, next (day), one, (an-)other, some, strange. Look at this carefully: And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- John 14:16 How is Muhammad with us forever since he is deceased??????????? I'd love the answer to that one! Jesus already identified the Counselor, if it was a prophet he would have stated it clearly. You don't prove anything either way because the Quran claims Jesus was a Spirit from God, if I am not mistaken.
4. Who Is The Spirit Of Truth?

You are forgetting the fact that Arabic, English... translations can be direct translations of the Aramaic text, and as I previously stated, Aramaic has its own unique language where nouns can be referred to as he/she. Another example: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4 No one reading that believes that patience/perseverance is an actual person. Some translations render "let patience/perserverance have its perfect work..." but the literal translation is shown above. Patience is a femine word in Aramaic and referred to as she. Deny the facts all you want, but your argument doesn't hold any substance.
5. Abrogation Vs. Allahs Perfection

May I ask why the better verse was not revealed from the start? Why would it be intentionally be caused for a verse to be forgetten? I'm confused. Thank you.
6. Seriously, Isn't The Source Of The Qur'an In Doubt?

Abba has been found as a personal name in a 1st-century burial at Giv'at ja-Mivtar, and Abba also appears as a personal name frequently in the Gemara section of the Talmud, dating from AD 200–400.[15] These findings support "Barabbas" being used to indicate the son of a person named Abba or Abbas (a patronymic).
7. Women In Islam Lecture

Yes, Iraqis spoke Aramaic and were Chaldean before they were 'Arabised' by Muslim conquerers. Same in Egypt, that's why Copts don't consider themselves Arab - technically Egyptians aren't Arab. In North Africa as well, people who are actually Berber now consider themselves Arab and some regimes have actually persecuted Berbers who are proud of their language and culture. Most Northern Sudanese are not Arab either, yet they were also 'Arabised' by the Muslim invaders... This is the result of colonialism. I've also heard Lebanese Christians also say that they are not Arab.
8. Sex Slavery Bust Arrests Several Muslims In Uk

Perhaps. Prostitution and sex trafficking is quite rife in places like Dubai. Is it true that Islam allows sex with slave women? If I'm not mistaken, Prophet Muhammad had sex slaves - the Copt and the Jew???? Please correct if I am wrong. It's a known fact that slavery is allowed in Islam. Perhaps these beliefs are the root of mindsets among some men that infidel women can be captured and raped. I agree, the respect of (ALL) women should be taught to men when they are still boys.
9. Praying For Non-muslims

you did not provide a link it all....
10. Christians Belief About Muslims

There are Universalists who believe that Jesus came to save all mankind, and they deny the belief in hell as Judaism does.
11. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

OK. But if he is said to have done the same thing that you consider extremist - which those following him repeated because it was the Sunnah - how do you then extract him from his own alleged actions and his legacy?
12. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

If Younes holds extremist views in your opinion, were the rightly guided Caliphs wrong to impose Sharia upon non-Muslims, and fight/kill and enslave those that refused? Younes said it was the Sunnah of the prophet also, so was he an extremist in your view as well?
13. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

The massacre rate you claim is unlikely to be true. Boko Haram and extremists are the ones letting off the most bombs and suicide attackers - not the Christians. You seem to believe media is biased when it shows reality you find hard to accept. No Muslim is perfect and there are extremist groups who do bad things. Accept it.
14. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

OK, I see. But what if they fought to resist enslavement or self-defence - as you said they could meet either fate by refusing Sharia? Please answer comment #53. Thank you.

16. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

Those that refuse Islam and Sharia have been killed in history, and can be according to you. So if they refuse, are they no longer innocent civilians?
17. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

That's the verse you quoted.
18. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the People of the Scripture, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. (9:29) I asked: Ok, I remember a verse where it says non-Muslims must accept Islam or be subdued and pay jizya or fight or die. So if they refuse sharia - and jizya which is allowed in sharia - can they be fought or enslaved? Your answer: Yes, to both. So if those that refuse the Sharia are killed, Sharia can then be established, right?
19. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

So oppressing non-Muslims with Sharia is guidance in your view?
20. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

No, They did not enforce Judaism on the pagan nations that surrounded them. Familiarise yourself with the facts.
21. Polygamy

let me repeat: Most women DONT want to share a husband. If the man/woman ratio is so low that they decide to compromise, it is their choice. It does not change the fact that God instated monogamy.
22. I Never Thought I'd Post Here ...

Good question. Muhammad was not pro-Christian. He was pro-his version of Jesus.
23. Is It Allowed To Impose Sharia On Non-muslims?

If Islam teaches that, you can't judge him...
24. Polygamy

:sl: Blessing them does not change the fact that monogamy was His original intention. The monogomous prophets were also blessed. What social problem? If women are empowered to take care of themselves, they don't need a man to provide for them. Most women DONT want to share a husband. If the man/woman ratio is so low that they decide to compromise, it is their choice. It does not change the fact that God instated monogamy.
