Surely you ought to give the due credit where it belongs. Lest you are some fitna mongerer yourself.     I really do not understand your hate towards the scholars of deen. SubhanAllah. It is about the scholars Rasulullah ﷺ said, سنن الترمذي ت بشار (4/ 346) وَفَضْلُ العَالِمِ عَلَى العَابِدِ، كَفَضْلِ القَمَرِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الكَوَاكِبِ، إِنَّ العُلَمَاءَ وَرَثَةُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ، إِنَّ الأَنْبِيَاءَ لَمْ يُوَرِّثُوا دِينَارًا وَلاَ دِرْهَمًا إِنَّمَا وَرَّثُوا العِلْمَ، فَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِهِ أَخَذَ بِحَظٍّ وَافِرٍ I am sure I do not need to translate. The above narration comes in all major works of Hadeeth. Imam Bukhari rahimahulla classifies it as saheeh and brings slightly different wording in the heading title in his Sahih as well.

Jalalayn has two authors. Jalalud Deen al Mahalli and Jalaludin al Suyuti. Hence the title of Jalalayn. Your understanding and representation of the Jalalayn is absolutely and ridiculously off the mark. Qasirat at Tarf refers to those women of Jannah who have reserved their sights only for their beloved husbands and desist from looking at anyone else. It is the same tafseer from all other tafaseer, with minor changes in their explanations. تفسير البغوي - إحياء التراث (4/ 31) وَعِنْدَهُمْ قاصِراتُ الطَّرْفِ، حَابِسَاتُ الْأَعْيُنِ غَاضَّاتُ الْجُفُونِ قَصَرْنَ [3] أَعْيُنَهُنَّ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ لَا يَنْظُرْنَ إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ، عِينٌ، أَيْ حَسَّانُ الْأَعْيُنِ تفسير الرازي = مفاتيح الغيب أو التفسير الكبير (26/ 333) قوله: وعندهم قاصرات الطرف ومعنى القصر في اللغة الحبس ومنه قوله تعالى: حور مقصورات في الخيام [الرحمن: 72] والمعنى أنهن يحبسن نظرهن ولا ينظرن إلى غير أزواجهن. تفسير البيضاوي = أنوار التنزيل وأسرار التأويل (5/ 10) وَعِنْدَهُمْ قاصِراتُ الطَّرْفِ قصرن أبصارهن على أزواجهن تفسير مجاهد (ص: 568) أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، قَالَ: نا آدَمُ، قَالَ: ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ: {قَاصِرَاتٌ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ} [الصافات: 48] يَقُولُ: «قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ، فَلَا يَبْغِينَ غَيْرَ أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ» تفسير النسفي = مدارك التنزيل وحقائق التأويل (3/ 123) {وَعِندَهُمْ قاصرات الطرف} قصرن أبصارهن على أزواجهن لا يمددن طرفاً إلى غيرهم تفسير ابن كثير ت سلامة (7/ 13) وَقَوْلُهُ: {وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ} أَيْ: عَفِيفَاتٌ لَا يَنْظُرْنَ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ. كَذَا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٌ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، وَقَتَادَةُ، وَالسُّدِّيُّ، وَغَيْرُهُمْ So I do not know which Tafseer are you reading or making up your own. Tarf is with fatha. معجم اللغة العربية المعاصرة (2/ 1396) 3198 - ط ر ف طَرْف [مفرد]: ج أطراف (لغير المصدر): 1 - مصدر طرَفَ/ طرَفَ إلى/ طرَفَ بـ. 2 - عَيْن "غضَّت المرأةُ طرْفها- رُبَّ طَرْفٍ أفصحُ من لسان" ° غضَّ الطَّرْف عنه: لم يؤاخذْه، تغافل عنه، تجاهله- مِنْ طَرْفٍ خفيّ: بسِرِّيَّة- نظَر بطرْفٍ خفيّ: غضّ معظمَ عيْنَيْه ونظر بباقيها من الخوف أو الاستحياء أو غيرهما. 3 - نَظر، بَصر "عاد إليه طرْفُه- {أَنَا ءَاتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ} - {وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ}: صفة حور الجنّة" ° قبل أن يرتدّ إليك طرْفك: بسرعةٍ فائقة. • طرْفُ الشَّيء: طَرَفه، منتهاه "رفع طرْفَ ثوبه"? بطرْفِ شفتيه: باحتقار- على طرْفِ الثُّمام/ على طرْفِ العَصَا: قريب، حاضر، سهْل التناول- فلانٌ طرْف: كثير الآباء إلى الجدّ الأكبر- وصل إلى طرْف الخيط: بداية الأثر والدّليل. • قاصِرَةُ الطَّرْف: المرأةُ الخجولة الحَييَّة التي لا تمدّ عينها لغير زوجه

    Okay, lets see. QaasiratuTTorf which you have mentioned is NOT one word, rather two words. Qaasiraat is a plural of Qaasirah (f). and It is not Torf rather Tarf with a fatha on Taa. The conjunction of Qaasirat at Tarf comes 3 times in the Quran. We will use the simpler tafseer for this purpose inshAllah. Quran 37:48 Tafseer al Jalalayn تفسير الجلالين (ص: 590) {وَعِنْدهمْ قَاصِرَات الطَّرْف} حَابِسَات الْأَعْيُن عَلَى أَزْوَاجهنَّ لَا يَنْظُرْنَ إلَى غَيْرهمْ لِحُسْنِهِمْ عِنْدهنَّ {عِين} ضِخَام الْأَعْيُن حِسَانهَا You can see clearly that the meaning ascribed to this conjugation is completely different than your proposed "Tarf, Torf: Special, distinct, unique, character, looks, color, sizes". Perhaps you could translate the above tafseer for us. Here are the other two places in the Quran. Quran 38:52 تفسير الجلالين (ص: 603) {وَعِنْدهمْ قَاصِرَات الطَّرْف} حَابِسَات الْعَيْن عَلَى أَزْوَاجهنَّ {أَتْرَاب} أَسْنَانهنَّ وَاحِدَة وَهُنَّ بَنَات ثَلَاث وَثَلَاثِينَ سَنَة جَمْع تَرْب Quran 55:56 تفسير الجلالين (ص: 712) {فِيهِنَّ} فِي الْجَنَّتَيْنِ وَمَا اشْتَمَلَتَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ الْعَلَالِيّ وَالْقُصُور {قَاصِرَات الطَّرْف} الْعَيْن عَلَى أَزْوَاجهنَّ الْمُتَّكِئِينَ مِنْ الْإِنْس وَالْجِنّ {لَمْ يَطْمِثهُنَّ} يَفْتَضّهُنَّ وَهُنَّ مِنْ الْحُور أَوْ مِنْ نِسَاء الدُّنْيَا المنشآت {إنس قبلهم ولا جان} Akhi, do you need help?

    Bismillahi Ta'ala, I know I am posting on the forum after a long time, but for whatever its worth. It has been mentioned in this thread regarding Kosher that it is permissible for us. While the essential ruling is that the meat of Ahl al Kitaab, including the jewish kosher is permissible for muslims, It is yet to be determine whether the slaughter method of Jews of that era is as rigorous as now. Mufti Abdullah Nana of US had consulted major body of Jewish Rabbis and concluded that the Rabbi blesses the processing plant once in the morning and thereafter the plant churns out meat on mechenical lines just like any other abattoir. His findings were mentioned as an appendix to the Ahkaam Adh-Dhaba'ih of Mufti Taqi Uthmani. The english version of the book can be downloaded online for review.   13. Assalamu Alaikum, Could you elaborate what is "Islamic Standard Timings". Which algorithm is the app using to pool in the salah timings, especially for the higher latitude areas? -- Edit -- Ok, I had this app installed on my phone already. I just checked the settings. It does offer different options. For salah timing, the default is MWL which the Muslim World League. Their criteria is (Fajr Twilight = 18 Degrees, Isha Twilight = 17 Degrees). I would ask further question of how do they calculate this for 49 degree above, since the astronomical twilight does not fade for 2-3 months after this latitude. InshAllah I will keep an eye on it and inform later on if the calculations are reasonable or skewed.
  14. Surahs Needed , Advice And Duas Needed

    Bismillahi Ta'ala, Most of good advises have been given. Here are a few things to keep in mind. Waswaas (whispers) from jinnaat occur in places which are spiritually unclean. This is the reason we seek specific refuge from such beings when going into the toilet. a. The first thing you should do is cleanse your room/home. Try and keep is generally clean. b. The second is to keep is spiritually clean. Make a daily habbit of reciting Qur'an in that room. c. Recite loudly, so the quran is heard by anyone else in the room/house as well. Try and start working on your personal taharah. a. Try to remain in wudhu' as much as possible. b. Making dhikr of "Laa ilaha ilAllah.." is very effective. Occupy yourself with it. c. Similarly make your habbit to recite as much "A'oodhu billa.." and "Bismillah". d. The Mu'wadhatayn (Falaq and Naas) are the most potent of ruqya against evil. Try and recite that as much as you can remember e. If you like Ayatul Kursi, then as per your own action continue reciting it. Make these recitations your free time things.. Do whenever you feel like. Angels of mercy and rahma tend to run away from places where there are sins. It is as though they feel the stench of the sins. So make accountability and start working on yourself. a. Make a chart of your Salaats. Try and pray all your prayers. If you miss, make sure to make up for them. b. Assess your weaknesses. Music, Movies, any form of bad language, staying in janaabah (ritual impurity).. and slowly and one by one address them. InshAllah you will change the condition of your home/room and jinns will not find a way of troubling you. May Allah relieve you of your burdens and protect you from all forms of evils, Ameen.     :sl: What Um eesaa says is correct. Also keep in mind that there are matters which Allah keeps dependent on ones actions (including him making duaa, or doing some good act bring about such and such, or a bad action bringing about such and such). These matters which are dependent are known to Allah. For this reason it only elevates the status of a muslim to keep making dua more and more. The real success is in the hereafter so there is no loss in making additional duas. Being happy with the destiny does not mean that one becomes actionless with regards to dua and hopes, rather A mumin hopes for good from Allah and supplicates for it over and over. Thereafter he rests the outcome of those dua , actions etc in Allah. Now, whatever Allah decides for him, either he will be okay with it.. or be pleased with it. But the height of Ridaa bil Qadhaa (happiness with decree) is actually Qadhaa bir Ridhaa (decree with happiness). Which is to say that one is happy and content with the decision of Allah even before the decree materializes for us, otherwise the second best is that one shows happiness for whatever Allah decrees. If something occurs contrary to our hopes, we should not then say "if such and such were to happen..." rather say Qaddara Allahu Ma Shaa'.. and inshAllah on top of happiness with decree one will also get reward of Sunnah. :sl:
