  1. Religious Movies

In the name of Allah. Salam alaikum. Blessed Ramadhan to you all. During the covid curfews and etc. I am spending too much time on PC nowadays. So I started thinking about what good I can do. And I made an initiative about religious movies website. Please check islamic movies.net :) And feel free to suggest me to add Islamic movies and tv series. Also you can help me with tags and etc. Thanks a lot in advance.
  2. Hello. I am not talking about Muslim Movies which are also nice. But, now I wonder if you have seen any Muslim TV Series, whether historical or dramas? If yes, can you name and share a short review for them? The reason I am asking is, I started watching them lately and I am enchanted by Iranian cinema. Here's a list of what I have seen so far (you can also freely watch them online because the websites stream the tv series with the permission of IRIB): Saint Mary Joseph, the Prophet the Ladder of the Sky I loved all the above tv series. And I plan to watch more at weekends. What about you? Have you seen any Muslim TV series? If yes, can you name and share a short review for them? Thanks in advance.

  8. Kometa, welcome to the forum. Please read the rules. You are not to discuss other religions in Islamic Forums. You can do that in interfaith subforums only, which by the way has a silly name such as: "Refuting non-Muslims: Debate Zone! (non-Muslims can debate only here)". Though I don't like the titles of some subforums, I agree that, the topic of other religions should not be brought into every thread. thus, please respect the forum rules. I reported some of your posts and I am tired of that. Please start discussing other religions in that subforum only.

  14. What Is Mutah? Is It Allowed In Islam?

Salam alaikum. Interesting question for a first post on the forum. lol. Mutah is not a short marriage. It is temporary marriage. But, the parties can renew their marriage contract and make it a permanent one when they are sure. In Iran it serves like engagement terms of westerners. And in other countries, mostly Arabs, have this same concept with other names, such as: misyaar, urfi, etc. http://www.islamquest.net/en/archive/question/fa915 I hope it helps. ma salam.
  15. Muhammad, Most Popular Name in Britain Muhammed, the name of the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny), has become the most popular name for newborn babies in England and Wales in 2013. Figures from the Office for National Statistics revealed that the name of the Prophet (PBUH&HP) has beaten Oliver as the most popular name chosen by parents over the past year, Breitbart London reported on Friday, August 15. Though the announced results put Oliver at the top of the list with 6,949 times, the statistics put the different variation of the spelling of the Prophet name in different entries at leading positions in the list. This means that "Muhammad" came in 15th with 3,499 children but "Mohammed" was 23rd with 2,887 and "Muhammad" was 57th with 1059 given the name. As a result the top three spellings alone accounted for the names of 7,445 boys, easily beating the second most popular name Oliver easily. News that Mohammed is the most popular boys name in Britain was first exclusively reported on Breitbart London following a leak at the ONS last week. At the time, Mohammed was already the most popular boys name in London by some considerable margin. The estimates showed that the Muslim name was the most multi-cultural London and the West Midlands, while Oliver came out top in the South East, South West and Wales. Britain is home to a sizable Muslim minority of nearly 2.7 million, mainly from Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani origin. The name of Mohammed has grown in popularity in recent years. In 2009, the name of the Prophet became the most popular name for newborn babies in England and Wales. Mohamed came third as the most popular name in Britain in 2008. 17. Muhammad, Most Popular Name In Britain

It is important that mankind, as representatives of God on earth, leave false ideologies-religions and accept the true faith; Islam. And it is important that they know God and they accept who He sent as the last Messenger and they are in love with him and name their children after him.

  19. Usa Type Of Respect To Women

One reason why we should avoid the western outlook on the issue of women is that in this outlook, women are a means for satisfying lust. This is undeniable. If someone makes this claim, some people may create uproar. They may say, “No, this is not the case”. However, when one takes a look at their lives, one sees that this is the dominant outlook. In social environments, the more women appear in an immodest way, the more appropriate it will be. They do not have the same opinion about men. In official meetings, men should dress up. They should wear ties and suits. They should dress formally on such occasions. But in these formal meetings, women should appear in a different way. This has no other philosophy and reason except that women should entertain men’s lustful eyes. Today, the western world is like this. It is practically the greatest oppression which the western world shows towards women. I am not after finding newspaper clippings. But it was yesterday or the day before yesterday that I found something in a newspaper. I found it to be a very important writing. I have brought it to this meeting to read it for you. A book written by Jimmy Carter – the former president of America – has been published which is named “A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, And Power”. Jimmy Carter says in this book, “Every year, 100,000 girls are sold as slaves in America where the owner of a brothel can buy girls – who are usually Latin American or African – at only 1000 dollars”. He also refers to the rapes which occur in colleges where only one case out of 25 cases is reported. He goes on to say that only one percent of rapists are put to trial in the army. One cries when one reads such things. We can see many such writings in newspapers. I see such writings as well, but I never base my opinions on them. However, these are realities. Jimmy Carter is a well-known personality after all and this is his book. What kind of situation is this? What kind of respect – towards women – is this? 20. Muhammad, Most Popular Name In Britain

If you want numbers you can search about it. I was making a point against your claim that this -the holy name being popular- is because of the Muslims moving there. But you want to ignore about the fact that there is conversion to Islam. Again, I won't comment about your personal family issues. Neither should you tell the strangers about it. And you witness something doesn't mean it is widespread. There might be families who put the women under pressure, and there might be families who don't. But the Islamic stance is very clear. See, Holy Quran, 2:256. Thank you.
  21. Why Should Muslims Remain Silent About This?

No, I am not. Maybe you are. And everything in the region relates to each other, especially the issue of Ocupied Palestine vs Zionist Criminals. Just check out israeli help, supporting and arming the radical ISIS in Syria. Or how the wounded of these rebels are treated in israeli hospitals. It is a fact that israelis use these sufyanis just to get rid of every nation from Nile to Euphrates. When ISIS is eliminated, next, they will use Kurds against Syria and Iraq in the name of founding a "free" state.
  22. Muhammad, Most Popular Name In Britain

That is what you are "seeing". It is limited to the Muslims moving to the UK. But what you are not seeing is the huge number British people embracing Islam. They also name their children after the Holy Prophet (pbuh&hp).
  23. Why Should Muslims Remain Silent About This?

We are not silent about it. Neither are the non-muslims of the region. Here's a Palestinian Christian Singer on israel and ISIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geqctRZAJXE

  25. Iran: IRGC Downed israeli Spy Drone near Natanz Nuclear Site The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force shot down an israeli spy unmanned drone before it could reach Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, in Central Iran, on Sunday.Iran military "An unmanned israeli spy plane was shot down after it was traced and intercepted by the IRGC Aerospace Force," a statement by the IRGC's Public Relations Department announced. According to the statement, the israeli aircraft was a radar-evading, stealth drone with the mission to spy on Iran's enrichment activities by flying over Natanz nuclear enrichment plant. The IRGC also pointed out in its statement that the israeli hostile aircraft has been targeted by a surface-to-air missile, according to Fars news agency. "This mischievous attempt once again made the adventurous nature of the Zionist regime more evident and added another black page to the dark record of this fake and warmongering regime, which is full of crimes and wickedness," the statement added. The IRGC further warned that it "preserves the right of reaction and retaliation". It also noted that the IRGC alongside other Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic is fully and resolutely ready to defend the noble Iranian nation and state. Source: israeli Spy Drone Downed Near Nuclear Site in Central Iran TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has shot down an israeli spy drone. IRGC’s public relations office on Sunday announced that the corps’ aerospace forces tracked and shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The IRGC said the downed aircraft was a radar-evading stealth drone which was trying to enter the airspace over Natanz nuclear zone. The intruding drone was intercepted by a surface-to-air missile, it said. The IRCG statement underlined that the corps, along with other armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is prepared to comprehensively and decisively defend (the country) and retains the right for any reaction and retaliatory measure. Less than a week ago, a senior Iranian military commander said Iran's air defense units keep close watch on the “tiniest moves” in the country's airspace, Lieutenant Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base General Ali Reza Sabahi-Fard said on Monday that the country’s entire airspace is closely monitored by the integrated network of air defense. “Not a tiniest move will go unseen by the Air Defense Base’s sharp eyes,” the commander explained. In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems. As part of these accomplishments, Iran’s aerial defense has been able to build a big part of its equipment and arsenal by its own experts. Earlier on April 15, Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili praised the outstanding features of Iran’s new home-made radar system, dubbed “Raasad-32”, describing it as a great achievement in the area of detection and identification of different types of aircraft. As regards the important features of the domestically-made radar system, Esmaili explained that the Raasad-32 can detect the flying targets’ direction, altitude and velocity. The system is capable of transmitting the collected data to the Control Center from a range of more than 15 kilometers. The israeli drone was reportedly struck by an Iranian ground-to-air missile as it attempted to approach the airspace over the country’s Natanz nuclear site. According to an IRGC public relations press release, the downed israeli spy drone was a radar-evading type of aircraft and attempted to intrude into Nataz nuclear district airspace when it was detected by IRGC’s air defense network and shot-down by the missile. The press release further slammed the “evil act” of the Zionist regime, adding that the move reflected the adventurist nature of the “fake and war-mongering” regime in its criminal history. The elite Iranian military force also reiterated that all of Iran’s armed forces stand prepared to defend the honorable nation and homeland and reserve the right to launch any retaliatory measure in-kind. Top Iranian authorities have repeatedly warned that any attacks by the US or Zionist regime force against the nation will lead to retaliatory measures far beyond the immediate region as well as wiping out of the illegitimate Zionist entity. - See more at: http://en.alalam.ir/news/1625964#sthash.fSaSlPN2.dpuf Iran shoots down israeli spy drone near Natanz nuclear facility Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has shot down an israeli spy drone over the Iranian sky before the unmanned aerial vehicle reached Natanz nuclear facility. The IRGC’s Aerospace Force has intercepted and shot down an israeli spy drone, the IRGC announced in a statement on Sunday. It added that the stealth and radar-evading spy drone intended to reach the nuclear facility in Natanz, but was targeted by a surface-to-air missile before it reached the area. “This mischievous act once again reveals the adventurist nature of the Zionist regime [of israel] and added another black page to this fake and warmongering regime’s file which is full of crimes,” the IRGC statement said. The statement emphasized that along with other Armed Forces, the IRGC is fully and strongly prepared to defend the Islamic Republic’s territory and airspace against any aggression and reserves the right to respond in kind to such moves. Iran’s nuclear facilities have always been a regular target for espionage activities by US and israeli secret services, which have at times used drones for this purpose. However, all efforts made to this end have been successfully thwarted by the Iranian military forces. On December 4, 2011, the Iranian military’s electronic warfare unit announced that it had successfully downed the American RQ-170 reconnaissance and spy drone in the eastern part of Iran with minimal damage. The RQ-170, an unmanned stealth aircraft designed and developed by the Lockheed Martin Company, had crossed into Iran’s airspace over the border with Afghanistan. The drone was one of America's most advanced spy aircraft and its loss was considered a major embarrassment for Washington.
