  1. Understanding Islam

Asalamu'alaikum Brother Aburafay, I once read the writings of an eastern sage, who said: All that we experience is subjective. There is no sensation without interpretation. We create the world and ourselves; only when we stop do we see the truth. All that we know is filtered and interpreted. Allah exists, but we cannot truly be one with Him nor His will while we maintain our normal modes of consciousness. Our minds know reality by constructing conclusions from the data of our senses. Therefore, there is no such thing as objectivity or direct knowledge of reality. Everything is relative because we are each condemned to our particular vantage points. As long as we all have different perspectives, as long as perception relies on our senses, then there cannot be an absolute truth. All knowledge from experience, valuable as it may be, is imperfect and merely provisional and all knowledge not encountered in our own experience is little more than someone else's second hand experiences, flitered and interpreted not only by them but by us as well. Inner truth, Allah's Will, is only glimpsed by disconnection from the mechanism of interpretation. If we can withdraw the activities of the senses and isolate that part of the mind responsible for filtering senory input, then we can temporarily shut off the ongoing process of interaction with the outside world. We will then be in a neutral place that is wholly turned inward. We are left with an absolute state, entirely without distinction or relativity. This is what I call "sitting at the feet of Allah". Now, let me assert that Al-Qu'ran is vitally important as the vehicle to arrive as this state, but to use the wisdom of Allah and His Guidance to His pleasure and our grace, as merely a earthly instrument of tyranny is narrow minded and serves only to bind the reagents of Allah in the same fear and mistrust that has bond the minds of those narrow minded souls who use it as such. Truly we must trust in Allah, for he is all-merciful and all-wise and will guide us aright. Ameen. Following the letter means nothing without the Spirit of Allah hidden within it. Wa'alaikum'salaam
  2. Ignorant To Islam

:D mu'min, When your house is filled with the love that I have seen between you and your wife, mu'min you have nothing to fear, my dear brother. Respect her wishes and you will find the striking differences will fade as you and your wife create a home where Allah is praised in humble submission and with love one to another. Call me for lunch, I'm in the company directory. :D
  3. Ur Concept Of God

:D Insignia of Islam, Let me say that I know exactly what you mean my dear brother but let me ask you if sin is not experienced like a rock thrown into a shallow pool with ripples which reach all it's sides? Sin effects everyone, not just the sinner. This is the worst part of sin and why we should walk soberly with shame for the burdens our sins cause others. When we sin, we harm others, and in harming them we bring burdens and place them upon their shoulders. They have not asked for these burdens but they bare them never-the-less and not because of "their error" but because of "our error". It is in this nature of sin that we must be aware in order to once again quiet the pool and calm the ripples which sin makes in our lives and the lives of those we encounter. Vigilance should ever be about us for this in order to walk as true Muslims. Ameen. :D
  4. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu'alaikum Yurt, When your Apostle Paul debated with your Apostle Peter regarding the Law, what was the laws proclaimed to apply to the Gentiles? Also, what do you know of the "liberty of Christ" Christians profess that they enjoy? Does it not say that if one is subject to any part of the Law, he is subject to "all" the Law? Does not your Apostle Paul clarify this in Romans and Galatians very clearly, friend? How is it that other Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ, which was on a Sunday, and you continue to subject yourself to Jewish Laws? I have dialoged with many Christians and this appears to be a bit of hypocracy on the part of their practice. Please explain this friend. If this is not proper for this forum let us pick it up via email. Thank you. Wa'salaam Friend who loves Jesus (pbuh).
  5. American Christians Protest Crusades Movie

Wa'salaamu'alaikum gill, It is good to see a post of yours as well my good friend! Thank you my good friend, you are always too kind to me. I am humbled before your generosity. Thank you kindly. Truly "now" is holy. It is the only period of time one can show compassion, forgiveness, mercy and love. Truly "now" is the time for these things if ever was. It has always been so and will ever be. Ameen. Ah, were it so. Unfortunately, I am not all that well but Allah has blessed us all the time we are given let us be thankful and use that time wisely. Ameen. Wa'Alaikum'salaam
  6. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu'alaikum Mu'maneen, Brother, I take your words with great weight and it pains me to offer to you disagreement and to offer disagreement with any Scholars of Islam for surely I am "no" scholar and honestly weak in my deed. So I ask that you take what I say with sympathy and generosity. I am a generous man. I am generous becuase Allah (swt) has been so generous with me. Ameen. Every time I come before Him with my prayers He is compassionate and merciful and loving to me when I am unworthy of His compassion and mercy and love. Truly I speak the truth, I am unworthy of any favor He has shown me and I know this because I know myself Brother. When I encounter anyone I try to reflect the same compassion and mercy and love which I have been so generously given by Allah, Al-hamdu Lillahi Rabbil'Alamin! I am so full of joy my Brother that I can't help but embrace everyone whom I meet with the same joy that Allah (swt) has embraced me, a very little man. I am truly sorry Brother if my glee offends you or my humility before all fails to show the diginity of our Faith. Truly I have much to learn, Brother, have sympathy for me but I am filled with love and like the rays of the sun, it shines on all. Ameen. Barak'Allah Brother any kindness you can share me.
  7. Us Group Says Anti-muslim Crimes Up

Peace be with you Livius, Bias and haterd are masks wore by many of every race, creed, color, nationality and religion. On any it is ugly. Peace.
  8. The 10 Commandments

Asalamu’alaikum Yurt, May the peace of God be upon you. Ameen. Let me say that I am a generosity man, friend. Be with God. I am not one to question your ways. Be at Peace. I am not one who necessarily interprets al-Qur’an to suggest that the Torah and the Bible are corrupt by that the doctrines and dogmas which have strayed from the truth of Allah have blinded some from seeing clearly what was revealed by Allah. As I spoke before, I am a student of all of God’s Scripture and I look upon it with the lens of faith to see the straight path through error, insha’Allah. I am not a legalist, but I stand upon the whole of the Law, which disciplines our will and our bodies to see what others fail to see and hear what others fail to hear. God (swt) speaks to our hearts many truths unspeakable but known between two friends in their eyes and in the warmth of their smile and in the fellowship of their embrace. Truly my friend, I would ask that you not cling to your doctrines and dogmas as a drunk clings to lamp-posts but sober yourself and stand upon your own two feet and use what doctrines and dogmas you have to illuminate your way to the truths unspeakable which can bridge the gulf between us. Trust in God (swt) and He will guide you through the darkness and you can put aside your frustration and conflict because you will walk in peace with God (swt) and everyone else who is on their way along the straight path. Perhaps you may discard my words but you will continue be my friend and I will have faith in God to guide you to His Truth. Ameen. Wa’salaam Wa’Barak’Allah
  9. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu'alaikum Yank, Let me say that everyday is the Sabbath for Muslims. We pray as if everyday is the Day of the Lord. Recall my previous post quoted from al-Qur'an 5:48... To thee We sent the Scripture In truth, confirming The scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single People, but (His Plan is) to test you in what He hath given you; so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which yet dispute. – al-Qur’an 5:48 To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. Allah's wisdom is truly His own, friend. I am as awed by it's majesty as you are. Wa'salaam,
  10. The 10 Commandments

Asslamu'alaikum Yurt, I see. Then perhaps I could ask you where you think we get this commandment and why we have seen fit to observe it faithfully for so long? Truly friend we have and had access to the Jewish Torah and the Christian Gospel for a long time. We know that Law of God (swt) and we walk in faith and in love when we walk the straight path with wisdom and generosity. Ameen. Ah, so you admit that the Church took liberties with God's Truth. What authority did the Church use to add the Apostles' Epistles to the Word of God? Their authority? Jesus (pbuh) was a Jew and a Prophet of God. We are not Jews. Tell me, friend, when were the Ten Commandments written, before or after Abraham? Wa'salaam,
  11. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu'alaikum Yurt, If you have doubt about this, dear friend, I ask for you to show me "one" abuse you find in Islam of this Commandment? Truly I tell you that you will find none. Muslim do not practice Idolatry. Once again, friend, I speak the truth to you. Let me say that you have also changed the Sabbath from the last day of the week to the first. Should we then say that Christians only observe 8 of the Commandments? Wa'salaam,
  12. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu’alaikum everyone, Let me offer this friends… To thee We sent the Scripture In truth, confirming The scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. – al-Qur’an 5:48 If we must dispute let us do so in the “race in all virtues†to Him who reveals all. Wa’salaam
  13. The 10 Commandments

Barak'Allah Brother slave, Truly Brother, your link is superior to mine. Astaghfirullah (I ask Allah's forgiveness) if I have failed to represent His Truth without the proper dignity. Thank you Brother. Jazakallahu Khayran Wa'salaam
  14. The 10 Commandments

Assalamu'Alaikum Yurt, Would you suggest that through the practice of Jesus' Great Commandment one cannot meet the requirements of the Ten Commandments? Truly friend you are in error if you suggest to the contrary. You're own Apostles repeat this teaching of Jesus (pbuh) throughout their Epistles in the New Testament, yet not one repeats the Ten Commandment completely. Love, my friend does not wrong, and is the fulfillment of the Law. I speak the truth to you friend. If your heart is open, you will hear me and know that I am honest and speak the truth of God (swt). Ameen. God's Words were spoken by the Prophets (pbut). Do you deny this? If God (wst) is with His Prophets (pbut) and His Prophets (pbut) write His Words, are not all the Words of God? Truly friend, all are God breathed. Ameen. Wa'salaam,
  15. Islam And The Writings Of Enoch (idris)

Assalamu'Alaikum penitant brother, May the peace of God (swt) be with you. Ameen. Truly penitance is the gateway to God, so I hear is the contrite of heart. These are all notable things, friend but they speak nothing of his character or his heart. Should such notable things suggest qualities of a Man of God (swt)? Perhaps you should have offered his other qualities? Truly, one's faith makes one beloved of God (swt) not age but a venerable age suggests favor. I most tell you friend, I not little of Enoch (indris) but I know he was penitent before God (swt). Truly a wise man to seek His favor. Ameen. Wa'salaam Wa' Barak'Allah.
