1. Repel That Thought

as-alamu alaikum Jazakallahu khairun brother, what an excellent saying by Imam ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (rahimahullaah).
2. The Sabbath

They differed, observed Sabbath and ignored Friday. Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: We are the last (but) we would be the first on the Day of Resurrection, and we would be the first to enter Paradise, but that they were given the Book before us and we were given after them. They disagreed and Allaah guided us aright on whatever they disagreed regarding the truth. And it was this day of theirs about which they disagreed, but Allaah guided us to it, and that is Friday for us; the next day is for the Jews and the day following for the Christians. [sahih Muslim, No. 1860]
3. Problems In A Weak Family

as-salamu alaikum, Ok so back on topic... Sister if you are afraid to declare your Islam and fear that some harm may be befall you, or if you want to delay telling people until you have learned more about Islam and are able to call your family to Islam, there is nothing wrong with you doing that. And it is good to hear that you respect and care for your parents, as Allah orders in the Quran that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. Does not matter if your parents are muslim or non-muslim, they are your parents, and Allah orders that you be dutiful to them, however that does not mean that you obey them in that which Allah forbids you from. This is because it is confirmed from the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) that there is no obedience to (any of) the creation whilst committing a sin against the creator. This is what I could reply from your post, if you have further questions do ask. Oh and from reading another of your post: Do not feel weak & bad, etc, you're a new Muslimah and there aren't even some Muslims in your area or around you so how is anyone to tell you about things, you can insh'Allah use the internet to learn about your religion and you should be careful as there are many websites and not all of them can provide you with the right information all the times. Make sure they provide sources (from Quran and the Sunnah) for what they say. And everyone slowly learns, step by step, you're not the only one. As a matter of fact many muslims (who have been Muslims all their life) are finding out about things daily, you would expect them to know but that's not the case, and with you it's good that you are learning about your religion. And also note that the situation with you for now is different, so once again restating and coming to another similar conclusion... so do not feel bad at times as you're a new Muslim, and you aren't sorrounded by muslims in your area, your parents are non muslims, you're young, you're not in a muslim country, etc, etc. So things have to be done step by step, do not burden yourself too much with other things. A baby takes one step first and falls down, gets back up takes two steps falls down, and after some time the baby is able to walk, and after some more time the baby is running and after a while the baby dosen't even need any help. We all start out as babies, everyone has to be patient and we make progress gradually and gradually insh'Allah. Establish good relationships with your parents, be dutiful to them, respect and honor them, treat them kindly, so they like you even more. Talk with them a little more and get to know them a little more, so that it becomes easy for you to communicate openly with them. And it would make things easier for you in regards to them not liking or anything else for the decision that you've made (becoming a Muslim). So do all good, make your focus on that so that way things become easier for you, and the sooner that you make things more good between you and your parents, then you can easilly tell them everything (with the help of Allah insh'Allah) and would be able to practise your religion in full, freely without fearing or anything and hopefully it will also send a positive signal from you to them about Islam and you being a Muslim insh'Allah. And yes, I know many times things are easilly said then done, so try your best. And my advice to you is wherever you are that you fear Allah, seek His help and be patient, indeed Allah likes those who are patient as He says in the Quran: {O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).} [surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 153] And sister for your benefit, here you can get some information (i.e. the phone number, etc) on "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.islamicfinder(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/getitWorld.php?id=48080〈="]Islamic center in Zagreb.
4. The Sabbath

There was a talk before regarding Sabbath, that which I would like to paste in from my previous post here with slight "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.ibplanet(contact admin if its a beneficial link)"]modifications and an addition... Addition: In Brief the day was Friday. They observed Sabbath and ignored Friday.
5. Don't know if this post belongs here, if not it will be moved, but giving you some other info. Yank... I don't spend much time here so I don't know too much, I know there are reverts here from Britain, Australia, Canada, and others... From the US I know of only one, and she's a sister, and I don't know more, I hope you can find others, and I'm referring you to someone very enlightening later on below, insh'Allah (if Allah wills). And I wanted to write because of you saying: no one answering, etc.. First of all, as we pray daily five times a day, there would be people there but I guess only praying and then gone, Allah knows best. And as is the condition of Muslims in non-muslim countries, some I don't know. Continuing from the sentence before that... you might be coming at times when the prayer is finished, etc... or... wallahu a'alum. Allah knows best. And likewise the phone, if there's no one at that time, the phone won't be picked up, but if there's an answering machine and you left a message then they should have contacted you, wallahu a'alum. I would advice you to give them a call or go there between 12:30 - 1:30 PM (estimate time) on Friday, as most (and should be everyone) will be there for the Juma' prayer... and I don't know their exact prayer times over there... Ok and the other thing you wanting enlightment from an American who has reverted, I could not think of anyone better than brother Yusuf Estes. I think you may have heard of him, he's very funny, he's from Texas, and you'll enjoy talking with him, a very pleasant guy. People like asking him questions, especially the non-muslims... His website is: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_islamtomorrow(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_islamtomorrow(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/ And you can get in touch with him, following the Contact Us> menu and click his name... You get some good enlightment. insh'Allah.
6. The Beard

as-salamu alaikum, A little link error corrected: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_sabeelillaah.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1043"]The Beard
7. Remedies From The Holy Quran

as-salamu alaikum, I don't even know what are you talking about? I take my knowledge from the real scholars. And let me tell you there are many so and so scholars, and there are indeed in them those say who you can dance, you can have girlfriends, pictures are permissible because before there was a danger of shirk.. now there isn't, music is permissible, and other things.. and there will be those saying illegal sexual intercourse is permissible... these are so and so scholars by name, these aren't scholars. The scholars that refer to and adhere strictly to the Quran and the Sunnah - that's our scholars, and also not those who have made up things in the religion without any proof. So coming down from above, you've misunderstood everything in the first place. Because the real scholars refer to the Quran and the Sunnah to explain things to you, not by their own unknown 'secret' knowledge. An example, the major scholars explaining things to us, their sources are the Quran and the Sunnah, without it they cannot and are unable to teach anything in the religion. A scholar dosen't say to someone when he comes to him needing help, so he tells him to read this ayah at midnight 1 billion times and your dua will be answered, no, whatever he says he must have a proof for it in the religion, if not, obviousally the man is an idiot for following him blindly and believing him and the other is astray for introducing, saying and making something that's not in the religion. And the rest, I don't even know where your're going, how are you replying to my previous post? (below) Bring a proof for what's being said above, bring a proof that Nabi :D said that if he keeps a copy of.... he will be safe, etc, etc, and also if you can bring your proofs for only this one page: And whatever is being said is made up, and know that Allah has said that our religion is complete, and Nabi :D did not say any of what's being said above, rather it's made up, bid'ah.
8. Remedies From The Holy Quran

as-salamu alaikum, Brother, your reply to me up there is of absolutely no value. I've asked you to bring your proof for just that one thing and you replied with something totally different of no value. And I've told you right there you won't find any proofs, so do you then follow people blindly with no proofs in the religion? Brother try to understand this, this is extremelly important, know that in our religion the proofs are the Quran (the Book of Allah) and the Sunnah (the actions and sayings of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam)). That's it, anything else added is a bid'ah (innovation), and every bid'ah is a misguidance and going astray as the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) has said. That book is full of bid'ah (innovations) with no proofs in the religion. As posted before only one example: ''If a wayfarer (musafir) keeps a written copy of above name of Allah he will return to his people in a short period of time. Insha Allah  Moreover, if he is needy, Allah will grant him abundant wealth.'' Where is the proof for it in the Quran and the Sunnah? Where does it say in the Quran and the Sunnah to do this? Nowhere, it's bid'ah (innovations) that people have made out of themselves. So know again that in our religion the proofs are the Quran (the Book of Allah) and the Sunnah (the actions and sayings of the Prophet :D. People have made up new things out of themselves, bid'ah (innovations), and as Nabi :D has said: 'Every innovation is misguidance and going astray.' So brother keep away from bid'ahs. Throw that book away, get rid of it. The Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) also warned against the People of Innovation, from befriending, supporting or taking from them saying: "Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allaah, His Angels and the whole of mankind." Reported by Bukhaaree (12/41) and Muslim (9/140).
9. Stone?

as-salamu alaikum brother, What you have heard is 100% trash/garbage.
10. Quranic Healing?

as-salamu alaikum brother, Let me help you with it, and this is extremelly important. Brother, know that in our religion the proofs are the Quran (the Book of Allah) and the Sunnah (the actions and sayings of the Prophet :D). That's it, anything else added is a bid'ah (innovation), and every bidah is a misguidance and astray as the Prophet :D has said. You are asking about what the brother (JaNaTs PuRe HEaRT) posted, he said: 'brother Cobra told me about a dua where you say some surahs, and you say "fahada" 3 times snd tap, with your index finger, the heart in the picture of the person whom you want Allah(swt) to bring you close with.' That is a bid'ah (innovation) with no proof in the religion. Does the Quran tell you to do this? Is it written in the Quran? Or does the Sunnah tell you to do this? Is it there in the Sunnah of the Prophet :D? No. There are no proofs. It's a made up thing by people, a bid'ah (an innovation) in the religion. So know that in our religion the proofs are the Quran (the Book of Allah) and the Sunnah (the actions and sayings of the Prophet :D). What is in the Quran you follow that, and what is in the Sunnah of the Prophet :D (his actions and his sayings) you follow that. People have made up new things out of themselves, bid'ah (innovations), and as Nabi :D has said: 'Every innovation is misguidance and going astray.' So brother keep away from bid'ahs and I hope it helped you out.
11. Shirk Unforgivable

as-salamu alaikum, Brother, if you remember, you've asked a similar question before, look here: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_forums.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=4639&"]is shirk forgivable Go there, you've been provided with good info there.
12. Quranic Healing?

as-salamu alaikum, About the book 'Remedies from the Quran' mentioned in above posts before, that book is full of innovations, made up things. More information on it, I've made a few posts, read them here: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_forums.gawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?showtopic=8067&st=0"]Remedies from the Quran. I have made one post on page one, and then my posts/replies are continued on the second page to aware people and to keep away from that innovative/misguided book. The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Every innovation is misguidance and going astray" Reported by Abu Daawood (no. 4607), at-Tirmidhee (no. 2676) and it is saheeh. Ibn Hajr authenticated it Takhreej Ahaadeeth Ibn ul-Haajib (1/137).
13. Quranic Healing?

as-salamu alaikum, There's no such thing, this is bid'ah (innovation). And every innovation is misguidance and going astray. And also know that pictures are haram.
14. Quranic Healing?

as-salamu alaikum, Brother these sound bid'ah (innovations). And every innovation is misguidance and going astray.
15. English Quran And Arabic Quran?

as-salamu alaikum, Sources are very important brother, and I have not heard from any scholars regarding it, they say they dont know and I'm able to locate Ibn Taymiyyah's answer, I recently found it, so I'll post that. And no brother, there's no logical thinking that Arabic is the language of paradise. If you are to think logic, then people before Prophet Muhmmad :D would also have thought about it, Wallahu A'alum. Some at the time of Noah (alayhi salam) might have thought they will speak their language in paradise, or people at the times of other prophets with different languages would have thought similar. Wallahu A'alum, this is just as an example that I'm giving you. And I'll post 'The language of the people in the Hereafter' addressed by Shaykhul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullaah)
