  1. We need to know about our brothers/sisters in israel. This article struck me and I would like to imagine if you were the Mother or Father. The children in israel need your DUAs (supplications). Be righteous so Allah can accept your Dua because as the Prophet sws said "The only act that can change Qadar (predistination) is dua". They need our dua and do them with sincereity READ ARTICLE to open your eyes "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.islamonline(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/English/News/2004-12/13/article03.shtml"]Suffering needs to stop[/url]

  3. Hadith

That is correct I would just like to add a couple of more things We must submit our will to Allah swt and obey Him and his beloved messenger. That is part of the action of a true believer. "Total submission is required after the surrender and some terms have to be set forth by Allah to be understood by the Muslim. There can be no option in the matter as Allah says in another verse" (Sheikh Yusuf Estes) Allah swt says: "But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (Muhammad, peace be upon him) as a judge in all disputes between them, and find no resistance against your decisions, and accept (the decisions) with full submission." [Quran 4:65] "It is not fitting for the believing man nor for the believing woman, that whenever Allah and His Messenger have decided any matter, that they should have any other opinion." 6. Dr. Sheikh Abdullah Yusuf Azzam

What a Great Revivor of Islam. May Allah grant him Paradise amongst the Prophets. JazakAllah khair for sharing that with us.
  7. Jihad related

There is more verses than that. About 20 that speaks about Jihad fisibillah. And about 12 that talk about Jihad nafs. I will try to compile them give me some time
  8. Surah Yaasen

Oh and the guys who discovered the DNA structure Watson/Creek were atheists but when they found the structure of DNA they said there has to be a God. So they believed in God... But I do not think they are muslims, unfortunately.
  9. Surah Yaasen

Yes JazakAllaha khair again for you insight 1) We should speak about the book of Allah but I tell myself to be careful because I am not a scholar nor a Sheikh...not even close. I am hesitant to comment on the words of Allah with the little knowledge I have. ... So the things I say is elementary. 2)Tanzilal Aziz Raheem If you look at the 3 verses before it. They are talking about the Quran and the messenger. A scholar confirmed this with me that it speaking about Rasoulilah sws. Definitely it is speaking about Quran. Tanzilal means sent down as a whole. There is another word means it was sent down in parts to mankind. Sorry I am beginner in Arabic the word is not coming to me now. 3) ÅöThou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. This verse is an amazing verse indeed it has the word Khasia (to be humble and fearful before Allah swt). Before the verse is Allah swt telling the reader about truth proving against their falsehood and they still will not believe, then Allah swt speaks about putting yokes and bars and they still will not believe. Basically they are being put further into disbelieve because they do not want take the truth. There is another verse in sura Baqara that Allah swt says that "Prayer is hard except for the Khashioon". A Shiekh told me that in this verse the Khashioon means to have a presence of heart. So what I got from these two is that the only people that will believe and listen to the truth is those whose hearts are alive and humble before Allah. When I tell muslims to start praying they have no Khasioo and just wave it off. When I give dawah to non muslims the ones that listen really want to hear the truth and they yearn for the truth. The ones that their hearts are dead really could care less about Allah. Interesting thing I saw in the Sura is that the order of Belief First Allah Talks about Himself in verse 11 and gives a story about Messenger and obeying them. Then gives you verse about Day of Judgement. 4) I find this very compact but filled with info. That could be one reason why it is the heart of the Quran. This particular sura speaks about a whole range of topics but focuses on strengthing our Aqeedah. This sura talks about Allah, rejection of messengers or Allah, consequenes- heaven/hell, how disbelievers think, how believers think, what the Quran is, Day of Judgement and the events, shaytan as an clear enemy, who to worship and why, who to obey and why, who is going to hell (majority of people), signs of Allah, science, blaming ourselves about the poor not Allah, returning to Allah, parable and proof that we will be raised back up on day of judgement, basically clears any doubts...I probably missed something so I would just say and more...... What more could you want in heaven....You will see and hear peace from the most peaceful (one of the names of Allah) ...Subhanallah 5) What do you think about these two verses "we created similar vessels for them in which they ride" "If it been our will we could have drowned them then there will be no helper (to hear their cry) nor could they be delivered. "Except by a mercy from us......" I feel like Allah swt telling me that he is protecting me when I step into my car. I feel like car crash might happen on the road but with Allah's mercy I am safe. There is a lot of people who step into their cars and it is their last vessel they ride in. There is a lot of people who step into their cars and get into huge accidents (heard plenty of stories) no one could help them except Allah's mercy. Of course that is my feeling not a commentary. 6) I think and am pretty sure that verse "Glory be to Allah, Who created in pairs ALL things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and other things of which they have no knowledge." This is of course talking about male/female, good/bad, dirty/clean, happy/sad....etc But I think this is also talking about DNA. The verse says from things that they do not have knowledge, from things that earth produces. Every living thing has a DNA structure. If you seen DNA it is DOUBLE helix and it is matched by pairs never alone. A to T. and G to C. It is amazing the struture of DNA. Funny thing is that they are called DNA base PAIRS that is the scientific term for it. If you do not believe me look at this website or if you want to look at DNA struture. 14. Weak Imaan/faith

The Prophet sws prescribed two things for weakness in Iman. He said sws that your iman will weaken just like metal rusts if left in the rain. The campanions asked so how can we strengthen our iman he said to recitation the Quran and make remember death much. I suggest reading Imam Ghazali's book Ihya Ulm Id Deen volume 3 and 4 is good for weakness in iman. Well take the action because Allah does not change people who do not change themselves. asalam alaykum wr wb
  15. Mood swings and depressed

Brother, we must look at life in a more detached and reasonable way. No event in the life of a human being represents the end of the road, except his own death. Allah takes care of us and we should entrust ourselves to His will. When we are true believers, we view every development in our life as good. We can easily submit to it, as it represents Allah's will. A prayer that helps overcome such depression should be addressed to the causes of depression themselves.. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that we should pray according to the situation we find ourselves in. There are, in addition, prayers which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself used. One of these, which is relevant here, is this: Allahumma innee a`udhu bika mina al-hamm wal hazan wa a`udhu bika mina al-`ajzi wa al-kasal wa al-jubun wa al-bukhl wa ghalabati al-dayni wa qahri al-rrijaal (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry, depression, helplessness, sloth, cowardice, niggardliness, and the burden of debts and domineering men.) Furthermore, you should bear in mind that reading the Glorious Qur'an, making dhikr, observing your religious duties, steering clear of what is prohibited, and doing good help one get rid of depression and anxiety. In his response to your question, Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, states: “You should seek professional help to find out whether you are suffering from some form of depression or psychosomatic disease. Often times, people go through some form of depression without realizing it. Consult your family doctor. He or she may refer you to some experts in the field. At the same time, you should, do the following on a regular basis: 1. If you are involved in any acts that are sinful or displeasing to Allah, shun them. 2. If you are not consistent and punctual in your salah (prayer), try to be consistent. Remember that salah is our only link with Allah. We cannot protect ourselves against Satan unless we align ourselves with Allah, our Creator and Sustainer. 3. Who are you befriending and keeping company with? Try to get some friends who are conscious of Allah, who might inspire you with good thoughts. 4. Be persistent in asking forgiveness of Allah, especially whenever such bad thoughts occur to you. 5. Read the following supplications on a regular basis, in the morning and evening: Allahumma, anta rabbee, laa ilaaha illaa anta; khalaqtanee, wa ana `abduka wa ana `alaa `ahdika wa wa`dika ma istata`tu; a`udhu bika min sharri maa sana`tu; abu’u laka bi ni`matika `alayya wa abu’u bi dhanbee; fa ighfir lee fa innahu laa yaghfiru al-dhunuba illaa anta (O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no other god but You; You have created me, I am Your servant; I stand by Your covenant with me according to the best of my ability; I seek refuge and protection in You from my evil deeds; I acknowledge Your favors upon me and I confess my sins before You; so forgive me, for no one can forgive sins but You). Rabbi innee a`udhu bika min hamazaati al-shshayaateeni wa a`udhu bika rabbi an yahdhuruni (my Lord, I seek refuge and protection in You from the whisperings of devils; I seek refuge and protection in You from their presence around me). Allahumma innee a`udhu bika minmaa ajidu wa uhaadhiru (O Allah, I seek refuge and protection in You from what I feel and fear from). Laa ilaaha illa Allahu al-`azeemu al-haleem, laa ilaaha illa Allahu rabbu al-`arshi al-`azeem, laa ilaaha illa Allahu rabbu al-ssamaawaati wa al-ardi wa rabbu al-`arshi al-kareem (There is no god but Allah, the Great, the Clement; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens and earth and the Lord of the Noble Throne).
