  1. What Rattles Your Cage?

assalamu alaikum the rattling sound and the tail of a rattle snake itself is so annoying to me...man the sound it makes is kinda disgusting.. I hate snakes and this one totally turns me off -------------------- In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. 4. Would you beat your wife?

assalamu alaikum why not?? It all boils down to how good/bad someone is..a bad wife IS going to be a huge trouble so would be a bad husband..but STILL NO ONE would ever admit that he/she beats his/her spouse! I have heard stories of wives joining hands with someone and killing the husband for wealth and what not. its such a common practice (although illegal) in India/pak and most south asian countries...they burn and kill wives for money most of the time...sometimes its even worse...I guess burning is the most prevalent form of killing in India..after all they don't have guns like here in the west!...but I know for sure that such practices (beating wife) are prevalent in middle east and africa too..we all know about women rights in asia and middle east..i dont think some people there know what it means! well this is much better because once in India when a husband dies, the wife has to voluntarily burn herself (they say to protect her sanctity)..so times have changed.. there are stories about women rights violation even now in pakistan...more of a culture issue..and I woudn't even want to talk about what happens to some women in the gulf! because I don't think it would be even nice to the least bit! a burnt human, be it male, female or a kid is indeed so awful to see...I once saw this pic of a 4 yr old kid with 95% burns. I dont think if anyone would explain him the reason for him being burnt, he would not even understand it.. he was such a beautiful kid..and all that was left was his beautiful face with those wonderful eyes..its still in my memory..and I still have that pic in my pc..I don't mind sharing it...its good to have some reality check.. when I looked at amani's icon and the signature she had, I thought of posting that kid's pic...coz that pic says more than what anyone could even imagine..anyways... I still don't think anyone with the right frame of mind would say he would beat his wife badly...and the ones who beat them would NEVER admit it as well... -------------------- In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. 6. Would you beat your wife?

Assalamu alaikum Times have changed...I guess its rather better to ask the wives than the husbands...or rather genaralise it and make it spouse.. Even someone who beats his wife would NEVER admit it! -------------------- In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. 14. Making a basic website

Assalamu alaikum bro..for a simple website I think frontpage or dreamweaver should be fine.. you dont have to write any code..all you have to do is drag and drop stuff.. but if you want to make the website more interactive, then you may have to learn some scripting...but I would say start off with static website.. -------------------- In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. 15. Whats your favourite quote?

assalamu alaikum the only one I could think of now is: "Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men." - MLK "The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light." - Khalil Gibran "I am a pearl, which has left it's shell deserted, I am a bird, and this body was my cage;... What I am now, even so shall you be For I know that you are even as I am" - Imam Ghazali "Say what is true, although it may be bitter and displeasing to people." - Prophet SAW "When you see a person who has been given more than you in money and beauty, look to those, who have been given less." - Prophet SAW "Who are the learned? Those who practice what they know." - Prophet SAW "The best of alms is that, which the right hand gives and the left hand knows not of." -Prophet SAW "Conduct yourself in this world, as if you are here to stay forever; prepare for eternity as if you have to die tomorrow." -Prophet SAW "The worldly comforts are not for me. I am like a traveller, who takes a rest under a tree in the shade and then goes on his way." -Prophet SAW Will post some later if I remember them..
