I’m bored, my sister refuses to entertain me, apparently she was not hired to be my clown or comedian, rubbish nonsense!

I’m reading a book called Handwriting, it’s well entertaining but I’m still bored…hmm.

How do people stop themselves from getting bored? Staring at walls eventually get boring….

  3. :D warahamtullahi wabarakatuh,

    Jizakallah khair for the info

I guess they still don’t know whether the moon is made out of cheese and if they had any astronauts suffering from lactose-intolerance then they have been spared from any side affects that they could have experienced from the contact with the giant cheese.

Is there anyone who has tried to prove that the moon landing did really take place?

  4. :D warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

    Secret Cat Diary

DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from shredding the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant and cough it up on the carpeting.

DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favourite chair...must try this on their bed (again).

DAY 762 - Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep depriving, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night.

DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan...

DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth and the tiny bit of flesh under my claws.

DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The Bird on the other hand has got to be an informant. He has mastered their frightful tongue (something akin to mole speak) and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time.

    3) "See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda." --Greece, N.Y., May 24, 2005 (Listen to audio)

Bush fan club here eh? :D

  6. almost sounds like generalisation.

but then i wouldnt think so, after all this is zukiful we are talking about, his moral standards are pretty stratospheric, he is beyond reproach.

i repsect his opinion and you should too.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Yes the statement was a generalisation, however, you should not turn this debate as being a personal attack on brother Zukiful or any other member in the board.

    Mr popo

Zionism isn't even in most of our vocabularies. For a lot of us Zion is either heard from Rastas or the Matrix. The pure and simple view from the Americans I know, is that we don't care about Zionism. We are so ethnically diverse that the closest thing to Zion we can possibly attain for us and all Americans, is in fact, America.

Give some credit to those educated americans whos voculab do extent beyond oil and power. If you consider America as being a zionist nation then you said, not me.

We already see ourselves as Zion, in a way. A perfect place, a "city on the hill" (puritan term) is in fact America to us Americans. We have no agenda to go someplace else to find Zion, nor help anyone else. We are more concerned with maintaining the status quo, that is safeguard our way of life.

You have built a land which occupies zionism, why would you need to go elsewhere? unless you wish to dictate the rest of the world with those same values you hold....which by the look of things are happening right now.

If my friends and associates read what you guys write about zionism, they would think you guys are conspiracy theorists, or tabloid junkies, which, by American standards, you guys really do sound like. When you bring something off the internet to back up your point, when you reference a non credited source, when you speculate, we disregard you.

I'm not going to dismiss that indeed some people have a great fascination for zionism. Nonetheless it is something that exists, whether you choose to hide from the reality or not is isn't going to make the matter disappear and no one in their right mind would use a forum as a means to use the information they retreaved as being reliable. The whole internet is flawed and who ever takes information as being the truth needs to re-think.

  7. :D warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

I hope you're in good health and in the best iman.

As you know paradise lies at the feet of our mothers. A sahaba could not utter the shahada on his death bed because he choose his wife over his mother and she didn't forgive him. This sahaba was known to be a very pious man who never forgot to do ibadah and he could not enter paradise because of the pain he caused his mother. The prophet (pbuh) went to sahaba's mother and they solved the issue and his mother forgave him and only then could he utter the shahda, subhanallah. This is how important our parents are. Ask them and yourself the real reason behind the whole disagreement, is there more to their refusal than merely cultural clash?

(I'll try and find the hadeeth inshallah and may Allah (swt) forgive me if i said something wrong)

I wouldn't advice you to run away from your parents, your parents will always be there but you must admit husbands/wives can depart from us in the situation of a divorce.

Speak to your family and make them realise your point of you, teach them Islam and they'll understand that ethnicity isn't a factor of relevance when it comes to marriage.

Both you and brother PNA01 do istikhara and follow what your mind tells you and not the over powering desire, usually in many cases desire clouds us from rational decisions.

I hope i was of some help and May Allah (swt) make you both amongst those who prosper in dunya wa akhirah. Hope everything works out and i'll keep you both in my duas inshallah :D

May your nan (trustar) be bestowed jannat-ul-firdaus...ameen :D

A Pakistani Muslim cleric and his followers have offered rewards amounting to over $1 million for killing the Danish cartoonists who drew caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad that have enraged the Muslim world.

This is just Sad, with a capital S. Why waste so much money on a person who will die anyways? Seriously do you know how many orphanage that money could actually help? I wonder if the clerics new years resolution include ‘Get famous ASAP’ somewhere in the list.

Allah (swt) knows what is in the hearts of men and May we all be guided to the straight path, ameen.

  15. I see Islam like a bubble. You live your life in a bubble because you're afraid of what's on the outside. You're afraid that a bee might sting you, so you gotta stay in that bubble. You're afraid that someone might cough on you and give you a cold, so you gotta stay in that bubble. I guess you are "free" from getting stung or getting a cold. But you're also "free" from experiencing life. You miss out.

disclaimer: these are just my own opinions and are in no way intended to demean Islam.

So I guess today you would gladly stand outside and wish cancer upon yourself, wish calamity upon yourself, simply because you think you know it all? I had the choice to do as I pleased and while some people in my family choose to follow the ways of dressing down, consuming alcohol, smoking etc I preferred to stick to Islam and I don’t miss out on anything really (but thank you for your concern). You see, when darkness engulfs us and death over takes us I have nothing to lose while you who defied the existence of God and mocked those who believe in the existence God have much to lose.

We call it Jizyah or 'protection money' and would impose it on non-Muslims whether they like it or not

I find this statement quite ironic; everyone who works here has to pay tax money yet in an Islamic state having such things is beyond comprehendible.

(except when we go to Heaven ),

I assume you’re talking about the 72 virgins; I’m amazed at your lack of understanding on issue. Nonetheless, the virgins are merely granted to those who died in the way of Allah (swt) neither without vanity nor to be remembered as martyr. On the day of resurrection a shahid will be questioned about his action and when he replies for you Allah (swt), God will reply ‘Kadab’ (liar) because he only wanted others to address him as shahid. The one who dies so he may be recognized as martyr can not be brushed with the same brush as the one who does something solely for his creator having no desire about any gains.

(Except when we're trying to convert them to give us a better shot at heaven )

No one has the will to convert anyone except God. So who ever turns their eyes blind to the truth will be responsible for their actions.

  16. It is self evident. Why try to prove something that is right before your eyes? If you don't see it, it is simply because you don't WANT to see it. You deny the truth.

It is easier to accuse others of not seeing the truth Lateralus but it is difficult to look in the mirror and judge ourselves and grade ourselves harshly on the same level. Surely if your claim was self-evident then you would not be asked to bring forth substantial evidence to prove your view.

The title of the article could have been better phrased. To deny Islam of upholding freedom is to truly deny its meaning.

    Allah (swt) knows best

  17. Hi, I live in Europe, as I've said before here.

Anyway, I have this freind, a Jewish israeli guy, none religious though. He was cycling to Universaty the other day when this Morocan guy on a scooter nearly hit a women in front of him. The women shouted at him to watch where he was going so the guy came back and started threatening her in the middle of the street.

My freind went up to him and told the guy to move along and leave him alone. The guy left on his scooter swearing obsanities at the women. Later that day my freind saw the guy again, but this time my freind was alone and this guy was with his freinds. They tried to indimidate my freind with his scooter but my freind just walked up to the guy and told him to go ahead and try to fight him. My freind isn't a small guy and so this guy after much cursing, left on his scooter. His freinds laughed at him for not doing anything.

A few days later my friend was going to his local food shop when the same guy and some older man (also Morocan) jumped him and stabbed him twice in the Chest. He's now in the hostpital under intensive care. Both the men where arrested as they were seen by many witnesses and on camera.

The guy younger guy, the one who instigated the whole thing said he did it to regain his honour. But from what I'm told he jumped my friend from behind and stabbed him with the help of another man. Where's the honour in that?

Could someone tell me how and why this is acceptable? The problem is, this sort of thing isn't uncommon here, it's the 3rd time I've heard about stabbings against people in my town by Morocan thugs. Not that all Morocans are thugs but in these cases, they were all Morocans. Someone also thinks he did it cause my freind has a small Star of David around his neck thus symblizing he's Jewish. Is that reason enough to stab a man?

    Hi CHTHON,

I don’t know if you’re assuming the Moroccan guy is a muslim due to his background but firstly I think it should be made clear that he could have also been Christian, atheist etc for there are Moroccans’ who are not muslim.

Killing an innocent person can not be justified in Islam whether the person is Jewish, Hindu, young or old. What happened to friend is saddening and I hope he does not suffer great harm, mentally, physically and emotionally.

  18. :D

    thats harsh!

    :D Why is that harsh?

Also they are not my words, if you come to down our area and ask any student what NASA stands for, they’ll either say ‘I don’t know’ or “needs another seven astronauts’

They ain’t my words but it is the translation excepted here.

    UmAhmed, lol

    Um-'Eesaa :D

And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,

They’d be nine green bottles hanging on a wall.
