  1. To Allah belongs the beautiful names and pleases Him when His worshippers invoke Him by these names. The names of Allah are Asma-ul-Husna and encode His grandeur and magnanimity which reflects His majestic omnipotence. One such name of Allah is Haseeb, which linguistically means the one who will commence judgments and bring equality. All the beautiful and splendid names that belong to the Exalted lord are enlisted in Quran as well, at one place it has stated: “Those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant” [33:39] 99 names of Allah and Muhammad is one such App that incorporates all the names of Allah Almighty and Last messenger along the blessings and virtues that each particular name holds. The significance of these names is that they fulfill one of the vitality of supplication etiquette's, which asks the followers to call upon Allah through divine names.

Richard Dawkins' latest anti-Muslim Twitter spat lays bare his hypocrisy The celebrity atheist's Twitter rant against journalist Mehdi Hasan shows he's a believer too – in his own mythology Richard Dawkins has accused Mehdi Hasan of not being a serious journalist for his belief that Islam's prophet Muhammad was carried to heaven on a winged horse. Photograph: Murdo Macleod Richard Dawkins and Twitter make one of the world's great pairings, like face and custard pie. But whereas more accomplished clowns ram custard pies into the faces of their enemies, Dawkins' technique is to ram his own face into the custard pie, repeatedly. I suppose it saves time and it's a lot of fun to watch. On Sunday afternoon he was at it again, wondering why the New Statesman employs an imaginative and believing Muslim: "Mehdi Hasan admits to believing Muhamed [sic] flew to heaven on a winged horse. And New Statesman sees fit to print him as a serious journalist." But this is only half the fun. The real comedy comes when he lifts his face from the pie, dripping scorn and custard, to glare at the audience who can't see how very rational he is. Because there are some people who don't understand that everything Dawkins says illuminates the beauty of reason. For instance, Tom Watson, the MP who pursued Murdoch, tweeted back almost at once: "You really are a gratuitously unpleasant man". To this Dawkins replied "Actually no. Just frank. You'd ridicule palpably absurd beliefs of any other kind. Why make an exception for religion?" "You are gratuitously unpleasant; I am just frank" comes straight out of the Yes Minister catechism of irregular verbs. But it gets better. Dawkins continues: "A believes in fairies. B believes in winged horses. Criticise A and you're rational. Criticise B and you're a bigoted racist Islamophobe." It is of course horribly unfair to call Dawkins a bigoted racist Islamophobe. Anyone who follows him knows he is an equal opportunities bigot who is opposed to Christians of every colour as well. But if you will tweet, as he has previously done, that "I have often said that Islam is the greatest force for evil in the world today", then us inferior, less rational types can easily suppose that he means what he says, and that therefore he does think that Muslims, especially proselytising ones like Mehdi Hasan, are spreading evil and should not be employed by respectable magazines. Of course Dawkins would probably deny with complete sincerity that this is what he means – until the next time he says it. This doesn't make him unusually hypocritical.   3. The Algorism & The Numbers

    NUMBER ZERO (20) The 10th millennium saw Muslim mathematical study concentrated in three main sub-disciplines. These were the ongoing progress in algebra, the development of arithmetic algorithms, and the increasing complexity in geometry. In addition, the introduction of the zero was destined to revolutionize mathematics as it allowed for key innovations. It was proposed by Muhammad Bin Ahmad in 967 CE. Zero arrived in the West much later, in 13th century. In the field of Mathematics the number Zero (0) and the decimal system was introduced to Europe, which became the basis for the Scientific revolution. The Arabic numerals were also transferred to Europe, this made mathematical tasks much easier, problems that took days to solve could now be solved in minutes. Did you notice this before ? The works of Al-Khwarizmi (his Latin name was Alghorismus) were translated into Latin. Al-Khwarizmi (Alghorismus), from whom the mathematical term algorism was derived, wrote Sindh Ind, a compilation of astronomical tables. He, more importantly, laid the ground work for algebra and found methods to deal with complex mathematical problems, such as square roots and complex fractions. He conducted numerous experiments, measured the height of the earth’s atmosphere and discovered the principle of the magnifying lens. Many of his books were translated into European languages. Trigonometric work by Alkirmani of Toledo was translated into Latin (from which we get the sine and cosine functions) along with the Greek knowledge of Geometry by Euclid. Along with mathematics, masses of other knowledge in the field of physical science was transferred. We must embrace religion, says Newcastle boss Pardew as he considers introducing prayer room By Bob Cass PUBLISHED: 22:35 GMT, 5 May 2012 | UPDATED: 22:35 GMT, 5 May 2012 Newcastle are ready to unleash the power of prayer on the Premier League, with plans for a dedicated religious room for three key players who have lit up their season. Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa are devout Muslims and they could play a key role on Sunday when Newcastle host Manchester City with the dreams of both clubs in the balance. United want to secure a berth in Europe and City want to clinch their first title since 1968. Manager Alan Pardew believes the beliefs of his top stars have been a major contribution to the team’s success, so much so that he has explored the possibility of creating prayer rooms at the training ground and St James’ Park. ‘It’s something I’ve discussed with club secretary Lee Charnley as I think it’s important,’ he said. ‘We look after the players and their religious backgrounds. ‘Even at the stadium, it’s not an ideal situation. It’s something we’re looking at. Religion plays an important role for some of our players. ‘You have to respect that some players have a different religion to most of the footballers in this country. We need different facilities for them. It’s important that whatever the religion, we take care of it and understand it.’ Devout Muslims: Senegalese pair Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba are religious Dedicated prayer rooms are not new in English football although they are few and far between, and the Premier League’s first multi-faith prayer room inside a stadium was unveiled only four years ago at Blackburn. That was as much in response to the multicultural make-up of the local population as to the demand from players. But all eyes will be on Newcastle scoring sensation Cisse today, especially after the Senegal striker took his tally to 13 goals in 12 games with what has been acclaimed as the goal of the season against Chelsea last Wednesday. Pardew’s pastoral care for the players, who make up the top flight’s surprise package, is evident. A state of emergency was declared in Rakhine in June after deadly clashes between Buddhists and Muslims. Since then, hundreds of people have been detained in the areas where Muslim Rohingya people live, a spokesman said. The government has dismissed the allegations as "groundless and biased". Win Myaing, a government spokesman for Rakhine state, told the Associated Press news agency that the claims are "totally opposite of what is happening on the ground", adding that the region was calm. But although communal violence has eased since the unrest in June, violations by the security forces appear to have increased, rights groups say. 'Rohingyas beaten' Amnesty accuses Burmese security forces as well as ethnic Rakhine Buddhist residents of assaults, unlawful killings of Muslims and the destruction of property. "Most cases have meant targeted attacks on the minority Rohingya population and they were bearing the brunt of most of that communal violence in June and they continue to bear the lion's share of the violations perpetrated by the state security forces," Amnesty researcher Benjamin Zawacki told the BBC's Viv Marsh. "Shortly after the main violence... then we start seeing a new phase of, I would say, state-sanctioned abuses, where especially in Maung Daw... we heard on a daily basis about mass arrests of Rohingya," Ms Lewa told the BBC. Reports from the group's network of sources in the area, mostly Rohingya, also said that authorities allowed Rakhine youth to assault Rohingyas in custody. The group also alleges that Burmese authorities took part in looting of shops and homes belonging to Rohingya. The Burmese authorities denied similar allegations made by Amnesty International. Some of the Rohingya Muslims arrested were held in connection with violence that erupted in Rakhine on 8 June, the day on which, observers say, violence was largely carried out by Rohingyas. The Arakan Project also says that some Rakhine, particularly those found with weapons, were arrested. It is difficult to verify any of the information provided by such sources, as journalists cannot access the area. Long-standing tension Violence between Buddhists and Muslims flared after the rape and murder of a Buddhist woman in May, followed by an attack on a bus carrying Muslims. Communal unrest continued in parts of Maung Daw as Muslims attacked Buddhist homes. Reprisal attacks then targeted Muslim homes and communities. The attacks left many dead and forced thousands of people on both sides to flee their homes. There have been long-standing tensions between Rakhine people, who are Buddhist and make up the majority of the state's population, and Muslims many of whom are Rohingya. Many Rakhine Buddhists have said that much of the violence in June was carried out against them by Rohingya groups. Rohingyas say they have been forced to flee because of the violence.   8. I think a non-Muslim, who is without a doubt spiritually impure and forever unloved by God (Allah) for being a disbeliever, should not be allowed in the masjid/noble house of Allah. A non-Muslim who sits in a masjid is like an unwelcome jew who is lingering about among many nazis. What do you think, brothers and sisters in Islam? Are disbelivers allowed in masjids?

ADVICE: The Best Of The Believers Are Those With The Best Personality 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, heard the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam say: "Shall I tell you who is dearest to me and nearest to me on the Day of Judgment?" He repeated this twice or thrice, and they replied: "yes, tell us, o' Messenger of Allah." And the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied: "the best of character amongst you." (Narrated by Ahmad) 'Aishah, May Allah be pleased with her, narrated that she heard the Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) say: "The one who has the most perfect faith (among the believers) is one with the highest character and is kindest to his/her family." (Narrated by Tirmidhi) To (God) Allah, the best of all Muslims are those who, not only try their best in performing all acts of worship for the sake of Allah but also, maintain the best (manners) character. Abu Hurairah, May Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "you cannot encompass the people with your money, but you can encompass them with a friendly face and high character." (Narrated by Bazzar) As long as I'm a Muslim while these are disbelievers I know that to God -than them I will always be better Even if you have this, have that, or did this and did that As long as you're rude and insecure, while I'm kind and nice, To God and His Angels, than you I know I am better Abi Sa'id Al-Khudry, May Allah be pleased with him,has quoted a saying by the Prophet (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) as follows: "Two attributes cannot be found in a man of faith: miserliness and a a bad character."(Narrated by Bukhari) A man or woman, girl or boy, whose character is bad and seldom likes to share even the simplest things he/she has so much of, may not be a true Muslim until he/she, for Allah's sake, develops good Islamic character. Abu Ad-Darraa, May Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "There is nothing of greater weight in the scales of the believer (Muslim) on the Day of Judgment than high character. God (Allah) hates the profligate and the insolent/bad mannered." (Narrated by Tirmidhi) Some examples of good character: ~ Being friendly and approachable ~ Having a sincere smile on one's face ~ Shaking hands when first meeting a fellow Muslim ~ Frequently saying salaam to Muslims and always responding to their salaams ~ Asking questions in a nice way and always thanking someone for their favors ~ Always willing to help out in only what is good and give honest advice ~ Always willing to share what can be shared ~ Always fair and just, making sure that every one of your friends have what they need/deserve ~ Apologizing to those whom you have intentionally or unintentionally wronged or at least praying for them ~ Enjoining good deeds and forbidding evil deeds, and practicing what you yourself preach ~ Being respectful and obedient, as much as possible, to your parents. etc. God (Allah) said in the Glorious Qur'an: "Bad statements are for bad people (or bad women for bad men) and bad people for bad statements (or bad men for bad women). Good statements are for good people (or good women for good men) and good people for good statements (or good men for good women), such (good people) are innocent of (each and every) bad statement which they say, for them is Forgiveness, and Rizqun Karim (i.e.Paradise)." (Surat An-Noor/The Light) Allah knows best. People of good morals/good character cannot get along with people of bad character Bad Character: * Telling someone to do something bad to someone, * Encouraging evil deeds, * Not willing to share, * Taking something from someone without its owner's permission, * Spying or being nosy about that which does not concern you (e.g. reading someone's diary* or listening to a conversation that you have no right to interfere), * Laughing at someone who makes a mistake or name-calling someone in a childish immature way etc. Wasalaam
