Physics For Medicine/pharmacy?

Recommended Posts

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu

I was wondering if anyone knew whether physics GCSE is essential for entry to Medical School? I heard that you need all three sciences at GCSE and two from Physics, Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level. I currently have Maths at grade A which I hope will replace Physics.. Is there are a lower chance of being accepted in Medical School because of not taking the Physics GCSE? How about Pharmacy? Thats my second option but I still don't have Physics! Please help..

wa alikum salam,

you just need a science GCSE,

but A-levels you need chemistry and another science based subject either psyhics, biology or maths.

this is the standard requirments for medicine and pharmcy, you can check UCAS website for more details
