Kp Calculation

if you know how to do kP chemical calulation could you please comment here, i have a question that i cant seem to do. i need an explanation on how to get to the answer.

Slave i don't think this answers your question, but it looks like a good chemistry forum for students in general. Perhaps u could try it as a resource if not for this question, then for another.

lol ok heres the question

 

at 1600 oC and 1.5 atm pressure NO is 99% dissociated at equilbrium. calculate the value of Kp under these condition.

2NO <------> N2 + O2 all in gase phase

 

 

i just want to know what is the amount of NO N2 and 02 AT EQUILBRIUM and why?

dalta n= total number of moles of products - total number of moles of reactants...

erm that seems a bit too complicated and i am not given the Kc and isnt that to equation ment to be to find out Gibbs free engrgy? :D

 

with the calculation i am doing i need to do the following steps

 

1) initial moles

2) moles at equilbrium (here is wer i am stuck)

3) mol fraction

4) mol fraction X pressure

 

which will give

 

P(N2) x p(O2)

-------------------- = KP

P (NO2)

 

i need to find the vaule of the brackets stuff.

som1 else got 9800

 

can you tell me how you worked it out? the equilbrium bit, i can do the later stages.
