ummammaar 0 Posted March 31, 2008 (edited) :sl: Akhi fillah, sorry for your loss. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon. I suggest all people looking for marriage partners go to their local masajid and ask their respective, trustworthy a-ima. Alternatively, you can also ask your married friends, who are willing, and trustworthy, to help you out. Sometimes that workers better, faster and more smoothly. I don't suggest anyone to look for a spouse online. It is quite risky, and even people who do get married to someone from the net (even if not from a matrimonial site), there are always issues that linger on for years. The most common of these are trust issues. Also, do you really want to tell your kids you met your spouse from this vast ocean of nothingness, of uncertainty? More fish in the pond.. just look in real life. One can actually have chaperoned meetings/interviews like that. Or at least see how the person behaves in real life, without them even knowing it. Wouldn't you rather be able to see how a person interacts in actuality, rather than maybe have to deal with someone who may put up their best face. Can mods please remove the # in the above post. One should never do that for security reasons. Secondly, it opens the door to fitnah. p.s. Since you're in Malaysia, you should have no problem finding a wife, even if non-kashmiri. Malays are very open to interracial marriages, especially when it comes to people from the Indo-Pak subcontinent, alhumdulilah.
