Assalamu Alaikum,

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Surah 24, Nur, 30. Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do.

Surah 24, Nur, 31. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.

Surah 24, Nur, Ayat 37. Men whom neither merchandise nor sale beguileth from remembrance of Allah and constancy in prayer and paying to the poor their due; who fear a day when hearts and eyeballs will be overturned;

SawdakhAllahul Azeem.

9. Surah At-Taubah (The Repentance)

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim

38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.

39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allâh is Able to do all things.

___Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky? Nothing holds them up but (the power of) Allah. Verily in this are signs for those who believe. - Qur'an, An-Nahl, Surah 16:79

___ Whoever strives hard in God's cause does so only for his own good: for, verily, God does not stand in need of anything in all the worlds! And as for those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds, We shall most certainly efface their bad deeds, and shall most certainly reward them in accordance with the best that they ever did. [al-Ankabut 29: 6-7.

___Seek, by means of what Allah has granted you, the life to come. and forget not your share of the present world; and do good as Allah has done good to you; and seek not to spread corruption on earth. [al-Qasas 28: 77.

Lets keep this beautiful thread alive.

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim

Surah Buruj

Ayat 10-14

10. Those who persecuted the muslim men and women, and then repented not, for them is the torment of Hell and for them is the torment of fire.

11. Undoubtedly, those who believed and did good deeds, for them are Gardens beneath which springs flow. This is the great triumph.

12. Undoubtedly, the seizing of your Lord is, severe.

13. Undoubtedly, He begins first and then repeats.

14. And He is the Most Forgiving the Loving to His righteous bondmen.

Surah Qadr

Ayat 1-3

1. Undoubtedly, We sent it down in the blessed and valuable night.

2. And what you know, what the blessed night is?

3. The blessed and valuable Night is better than a thousand months.

Surah Ar-Rum

Ayat 4-11

4. In a few years. The command is of Allah only before and after. And on that day the believers shall rejoice.

5. With the help of Allah, He helps whom He pleases. And He is the Mighty, the Merciful.

6. This is the promise of Allah, Allah breaks not His promise, but most of the people know not.

7. They know only the outer appearance of the worldly life, and they are fully unaware of the Hereafter.

8. Have they-not pondered within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them but with truth and for an appointed term. And undoubtedly, most of the people are deniers of the meeting with their Lord.

9. And have they not traveled in the land so that they might see how was the end of those before them? They were more powerful than these, and they tilled the soil and populated it. And their Messengers brought to them bright signs. Then it was not befitting to the dignity of Allah Who would oppress them; yes they used to oppress themselves.

10. Then the end of those who committed evil to their limit was this that they began to belie the signs of Allah and to mock at them.

11. Allah Creates for the first time then He shall make for the second time, then you shall be returned to Him.

and Ayat 17-19

Therefore, glorify Allah when you enter the evening and when you enter the morning.

And His is praise in the heavens and in the earth, and at little before the setting of sun and when you enter the noon.

He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death. And in like manner you shall be brought forth.

Assalamu Alalikum wr wb,

Somehow, the English translation does not seem to do justice to this verse. It's strikes me as an extremely powerful verse:

Surat Al-Ra'd 13:31

And if there had been a Qur'an with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Qur'an). The decision of all things is certainly with Allah. Have not then those who believe yet known that Allah had willed, He could have guided all mankind? And a disaster will not cease to strike those who disbelieve because of their (evil) deeds or it (the disaster) settles close to their homes, until the Promise of Allah comes to pass. Certainly, Allah does not fail in his promise.

Peace

A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.

Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem?

And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false?

Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-

And ye the while (sit) looking on,-

But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-

Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-

Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?

Surah AL-WAQIA 080-87

:D for sharing sis ahmed, those are very powerful ayats and one must take it into account that this life is very short and should not be valued more highly than the hereafter. Ya Allah give us the strength to adhere to your guidance and unite in Jannah. Ameen

Surah al-Baqarah ayats:

O you mankind! worship your Rabb Who created you and those before you, so that you may practice reverence

Who made for you the earth a carpet, and the sky as a canopy; and He brings down from the sky water, then He brings forth by it fruits as a sustenance for you. Therefore do not set up with Allah rivals, while you were knowing.

And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed upon Our Bondsman, then come up with a Surah the like of this and invite your helpers besides Allah, if you are truth-tellers.

But if you do not do- and you can never do- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and the stones- it is prepared for the Unbelievers.

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good, that for them are Gardens, beneath which flow the rivers! every time they are provided from these with fruit as a provision, they say: "This is what we were provided with in the past"; for, they are given it in resemblance. And they have in them pure companions, and they therein abide.

Invite (all) to the Way

Of thy Lord with wisdom

And beautiful preaching;

And argue with them

In ways that are best

And most gracious;

For thy Lord knoweth best,

Who have strayed from His Path,

And who receive guidence.

Those that turn (to Allah)

In repentance; that serve Him.

And praise Him; that wander

In devotion to the Cause of Allah;

That bow down and prostrate

themselves

In prayer; that enjoin good

And forbid evil; and observe

The limits set by Allah,-

(These do rejoice). So proclaim

The glad tidings to the Believers.

I love this ayah too. Very simple but brings about a calmness of the heart. :sl:

And when you have made a decision, then rely upon Allah (have Tawakkul). Verily, Allah loves those who rely on Him. If Allah helps you, no one can overcome you; but if He forsakes you, who is there who can help you after Him. And upon Allah must the believers rely (have Tawakkul). (Aali-‘Imraan 3:159-160)
