dot 353 Posted March 9, 2008 :sl: I'm pleased to announce that insha'Allah I will run a practical tajweed classroom, for anyone who would like to learn how to recite the Quran with proper tajweed. There are 2 approaches to learning tajweed: 1- studying the rules of tajweed one by one. 2- reading the Quran, verse by verse, with a teacher, and learn what comes up in each word and letter. Insha'Allah I will apply the second method, which is more practical and would require less time to reach a reasonable level of tajweed. Requirements: - (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetgoogle(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/talk/"]Google talk, or (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_get.live(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/messenger/overview"]Windows Live Messenger, or (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetskype(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/intl/en/download/"]Skype - your choice. - 30~60 min of free time. - mic and headphone/speaker - can read the Quran in Arabic (separate classes can be arranged for those who can't read it in Arabic) - (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_you are not allowed to post links yetgawaher(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=4&MID=1"]PM me to arrange a schedule for you. It would be great if you have some basic info about the rules of tajweed, but that is not a requirement. These classes are for basic to intermediate level students. Classes can be arranged either for 1 student, or a group. Aaqib Ahmed 2 Posted March 10, 2008 :sl: Mashallah good idea. But shouldn't brothers and sisters have a separate class? Inshallah you understand. :sl:
umAhmad 1 Posted March 10, 2008 Assalamu alaikum, :sl: Mashallah good idea. But shouldn't brothers and sisters have a separate class? Inshallah you understand. :sl: I don't think that would be necessary if there were few students, if it was on a one to one basis then it would be different, but in a group study seperate classes should'nt be an issue. Allah knows best. Assalamu Alaikum, umAhmad.
