Just to let you know, I found out the hard way that a low-cost camera will likely not be good quality I returned it and got a better one. I originally wanted a camera around $50, and then was thinking less than $100. Unfortunately, the cheaper cameras aren't always quality-built and the picture quality isn't that good, either. Plus, the cheaper ones don't have some good features. Optical zoom gives better quality than digital zoom, if you plan to zoom. There are cheap digital cameras around $30 now, including a really small one I saw at the store, but those won't have a flash. I would recommend staying away from generic brands, and Polaroid. You might consider brands like Olympus and Fujifilm. I returned my Polaroid and got a Fujifilm camera for considerably less than your budget, and I'm quite happy with it. It's a nice compact size. I love it. :D Something cool about the internet is that you can easily read different reviews on products like digi cameras to see what people like/dislike. This should help with decision-making. I definitely recommend looking up reviews after you find a few cameras you are interested in. Gardener 0 Posted November 19, 2005 Salam Alaikum Sis.. I dont know whether I would able to help you or not as Im not in West. Im in Malaysia.. But I use Olympus Digital Camera. Its around RM 1400 thousand but no doubt on the quality or features.I did survey and asked all the Digi Cam sellers, they said that Olympus is pretty expensive but its worth it! Erm.. hehe.. its helping? I dont know la.. Jus wanna share.. I guess everyone knows Olympus and do think that Olympus always provide good total imaging cams.. Salam alaikum...
