Hasib: Not this again! Lol... just because it doesn't burn half your taste buds off doesn't mean it's bland. What is this 'bland' Arab food your friends have been feeding you :sl:

Random: Just finished having suhoor.

Assalamu Alaikum, InshaAllah you will get used to living on your own soon enough, so will your parents inshaAllah. just behave and keep good company, that's all we want from you, lol.

Quit dissing Arab food Hasib, don't compare it with indian food, its like comparing Apples and Oranges. They are both good in their own way. I am craving for some Arab food, unfortunately our Arab restaurants are on Vacation in Ramadhan, and the few that are open do not sell Halal stuff.

Our Masjid has Iftar program every Saturday, and they serve only Arab food, since the Masjid is run by Syrisn brothers, but since it is not segregated we can't go, Maybe the best I can do is eat Hummus with lots of Olive Oil and pita today for Suhoor, to get rid of the craving.

Try it Hasib, Ya Bunayye, and I can tell you that you on't get heartburn or upset stomach, hehehe.

Salaams and duaas to all.

Emel & uA, desi food doesnt have to be spicy hot.. you dont have to put any chilli in it and it still tastes so good! I'm not just saying that..

Reason why I'm picking on arab food is cause we're being fed that at the local masajids for futoor and i'm so sick of it :sl: but :j: for it as well i'm not complaining but its just that man like you guys dont cook the chicken or what?? like its all red inside and theres no spices man! its just boiled or something and the smell :|.. oo.. dont get me started! & I dont get why you guys can't make plain rice.. lol.. you put so much stuff into rice it kills eating rice :|.. i'm not joking!

In The Name of Allah. The Beneficent, The Merciful.

1. When the heaven is split asunder,

2. And attentive to her Lord in fear,

3. And when earth is spread out,

4. And has cast out all that is in it and voided itself,

5. And attentive to her Lord in fear!

6. O man! You are indeed toiling towards your Lord painfully, and you will meet Him.

7.He that is given his book (of deeds) in his right hand

8. Will have a lenient reckoning,

9. And go back rejoicing to his people.

10. But he that is given his book from behind his back,

11. Will call down destruction upon himself.

12. And burn in the fire of Hell.

13. For he was happy among his people,

14.And thought he would never return to Allah.

15. Yet his Lord is ever beholding him.

16. Oh, I swear by the glow of sunset;

17. And by the night and all that it brings home,

18. And by the moon in it's full perfection:

19. Surely you will journey on from state to state.

20.Why, then, do they not have faith,

21. And when the Qur'an is recited to them, do they not prostrate?

22. But on the contrary, the disbelievers deny it.

23. Yet Allah knows best what they are hiding.

24. So announce to them a woeful doom!

25. Except those who embrace the true faith and do good works; theirs will be a reward unfailing.

Al-Qur'an

Surah 84-The Sundering
