this is the grave of muhammad sallalahu alaihi wassalam

Assalamu Alaikum,

I request members to check the authenticity of mails before forwarding them. Here is the correction

Fake picture of Prophet's (saw) Tomb

The picture below is not of the Prophet's (saw) tomb as many are claiming (without verifying) in e-mail forwards. On the contrary, it is the tomb of the famous Muslim poet and philospher, Maulana Rumi in Turkey. I confirmed this during my visit to his tomb in Konya, Turkey in December 2001.

The fact that this picture (below) is not of the tomb of the Prophet (saw) was also comfirmed by Peter Sanders the Muslim photographer. He revealed this during my interview with him on Thursday, 17th May 2001. He said, "Inside the Prophet's (saw) tomb - no I have not seen inside. I asked a sheikh what's inside - he's one the people who clean the area. He said light, light..nothing but light. The picture going round on the Internet - it's not a real picture, it's a painting from someone's vision because there's nothing in there, they've completely concealed it up. That might have been what it was like in the Turkish times, I don't know. It seems very authentic - I've seen in different shuyukh's houses. It's possible that it is what it did look like or what it does look like in the unseen, I don't know. Allahuwalam. As far as I know, there is nothing there. The sheikh said there is only light and he added, people who don't see this light only see their own darkness."

Assalamu Alaikum, I don't know about people seeing just light where RasoolAllahSallallahu AlaihiWa Sallam's holy grave is, but I know this one in the picture is the grave of Muslim poet and philospher, Maulana Rumi. JazaakAllahu Khairan Br. aathurvaasi for passing that on.

As far as what I heard from people who have seen RasoolAllah's grave, they say in is not hoisted or anything, but is flat and simple and has the graves of Abu Bakr RA. and Umar RA beside it.

Assalamu Alaikum, umAhmad.

Assalamu alaykum

Many such pictures are spread through emails. Like turban of Rasulullah SAS, footwear of Rasulullah SAS. Technically if I look into them I see that they are manipulated.

I sat near the grave of Rasulullah SAS for hours and try to peep thruogh the doors of the Raudha of Rasulullah. What I could see was a Red cloth spread over a wall with arabic writings on that. Can some how get those inside real photographs of the graves of Rasulullah SAS, Syeduna Abu bakr RA and Syeduna Omar RA

I have received this picture of a grave a while back, actually this picture is been on the net for a while and it has been claimed that its the picture of the grave of the prophite PBUH

Well its not al hamdullilah. ....since the prophit PBUH orderd that the graves should be flate to the ground..... this would never be the grave of the prophit PBUH

Its the grave of a sufi sheik callhed Galal El Deen Al Roumy. And since the sufies have this habitte of being attached to graves , and decorating the graves, and making it above the ground like the one in the picture, then it makes more sence that it wont be the picture of the grave of the prophit PBUH.....

I made a search on the pciture and i found it in a a site related to sufi sheik, u'll find the picture in the first row on the right, its the second picture...from a differnet angel

sorry that its an arabic site.

I wish to post the picture that's been on the mail and net, but i guess i have to upload it on a site first, can some1 help me ?
