Alcohol In Jannah

Recommended Posts

:D

Allah's Apostle :D said, "Whoever drinks alcoholic drinks in the world and does not repent (before dying), will be deprived of it in the Hereafter."

The alcohol in jannah is different than that of this world in that it is not intoxicating. Correct? Does anyone have any proof of this? :D

Concerning alcoholic drinks of the Hereafter, as we know Paradise is free from corruption including all things that effect the mind.

In Paradise we have full control of our bodies (by the will of Allah), therefore since intoxication causes one to lose their mind for a short period of time, this cannot be in Paradise since Man will always have full control of their bodies (by the will of Allah).

Intoxication is known to cause ill effects on the body, such as sickness, nauseating, anger etc. Since non of these are found in Paradise, intoxication is not present.

Allah has prevented intoxication, so that we can enjoy the flavours of the drinks of the Akhira a lot more and have full control of our bodies at all times as Allah has promised.

Just as you stated in the Ayat, a pure drink means one free from intoxication.

Also from Qur'an:

"They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,

Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss."

(Suratul Mutaffifin. 83:25-26)

And for the perfect evidence:

"Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain,

Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof),

Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom."

(Surah As-Saaffat 37:44-456)
