You are not allowed to take photos here too, but I got these photos in some Turkish forums, and sites. One of the site is ; (www.)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.zaman.com.tr/2004/06/08/album/kutsalemanetler.htm"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.zaman.com.tr/2004/06/08/album/kutsalemanetler.htm[/url]

I have a cd and a big book which includes all the holy items of those. :sl: It is for sale in Turkey. And its quality is really great. I've found on youtube some parts of that cd. i know its Turkish but from the names you may know what are the items about. :j: Excellent job.

Salaams,

well i dont know the full detail history of how they keeped them for a very long time bro. Cuz i am not an expert :sl: In Ottoman Empire Sultans gave so much value for the holy items of İslam and this palace is from the times of Ottoman Empire which ruled like for 900 years. I think the details are written inside that museum. I think i went there for once but it is always so crowded that i couldnt read all the notes around.

Personally I believe such relics to be a very dangerous thing.

More often then not the less educated amongst us tend to start worshiping such items.

They start to make pilgrimages to these relics and start praying to them, rather then God.

I have seen shrines and relics in my native country, where people from all over come and make duah to them, which goes against the teachings of the Quran.

Assalamu alaykum

I had seen those photos long time back. But some how I could not believe in authenticity of them. There is not historical background regarding source from where those relics were collected.

Assalamu Alaikum, I agree with Br. Omar786 and Ahamad Sharif, there is no authenticity about these things, and I have personally seen people making sort of pilgrimages and standing in lines for hours to have a view of them. Secondly, does seeing these things increase our emaan, or help in increasing our Emaan, I don't think so.

Please do not get caught up and get stuck in these things. May Allah guide us all and keep us on the right path, ameen.

Assalamu Alaikum, umAhmad.

It is fun to imagine though, isn't it? "This is the Prophet's Sword."

At least a relic industry didn't develope in Islam. As for catholics, st Peter apparently had six arms and one hundered teeth. Scary. :sl:

Exactly, Aunty, that's all that matters at the end of the day.

Same thing also happens here in my country.

Salams,

i didnt like the way you approach these items.

If you dont believe that these are prophet's then you are not really a sincere muslim person, dont you think you should try to research at first? No, because muslims are lazy :sl: Its about History, friends. Just research it...Ottoman Empire saved all of these and its all written everythings so clear, but u guys just dont know..Sadly..No one worships them, people just cry when they see our PROPHET'S OWN ITEMS which is very special.
